  1. Good morning from cool Atlanta. We expect rain today.

I see a distant Waldo in the photo today.

Art got home last night from a conference in Savanah. So glad he got home. He has that newish phone and about five minutes before leaving on his trip he asked me how to do Navigation and how to send a text. At least he printed out Map Quest directions that got him to his destination. He is so used to me being with him and taking care of Navigation.

  2. A question a friend asked on Facebook was where the strangest place anyone found their phone was. Hers was in the fridge. She kept hearing a faint ring, but couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. I have no great story about losing my phone, however. That is a good thing, so I am not complaining.

We have bad smoke again for a few days. That sun was amazing last night because of it.

  3. I have never found my phone in a strange place, Kathaleena. I wish I could find my old phone that had the better camera, in a strange place or anywhere, but it is so outfated now that I guess I should never give it another thought. I could at least save some of the old photos on it.

A train was just making a very strange sound and they stopped it. Hmmm . . . may be an intetesting day.

  4. I had a Motorola flip phone that I dropped in the snow, twice. The first time I found it by my car. The second time it had tire tracks in the snow over it. Both times it still worked fine. I miss the ruggedness of that phone.

  5. I agree Peter. Those flip phones may not have been smart but they did last. My husband lost his old one in the snow a couple of times also and it still worked. These new ones would never make it. I dropped my new one on the floor and shattered the screen. I had to get a new one because repair was going to cost more than the phone.

Good afternoon all. It’s cloudy with a good chance of rain today.

  6. Interesting day with the grands. I needed to stop by the store for a few things. As soon as I mentioned the store they told me what they expected me to buy for them at that store. My daughters always give them treats. I give them time and adventures. Their expectations make me sad.

I have things out to make cookies tomorrow with them. They always need cookies for fellowship time at the church. So I will give them a few and then drop off the rest at church.

It was a good first day. We will see how it goes.

  7. Jo, of course, if it gets to that stage but hoping the judge will see through her facade and put custody with dad. She is sort of planning on her alcoholic brother and his emotionally fragile wife to adopt them. We are hoping dad will continue to grow into his responsibilities and do this right.

  8. I once found my phone in the office closet! I suppose I was on the hunt for something and sat it in the shelf. And I had the ringer off!

Mumsee we will keep you all in prayer. It would seem the Daddy will get custody if it is made known her plan. Could be for the best…as we pray for His best in their lives ❣️

  9. Jo, you can’t blame a child for trying. Also, you shouldn’t believe all they say. My parents had completely different rules than the other grandparents but the children all learned to adjust to the different expectations. Your grands will, too, no doubt.

  10. That is a really bad plan of hers, Mumsee. God knows. He hears the prayers for their best and her straightening out of twisted thinking. It is all pretty horrid, a reminder of how far humans are astray when trying to play lord over the lives of the vulnerable.🙏
