Prayer Requests 1-28-22

It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.

Psalm 8

A psalm of David.

Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!

   You have set your glory
    in the heavens.
Through the praise of children and infants
you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger.
When I consider your heavens,
    the work of your fingers,
   the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?

You have made them a little lower than the angels
and crowned them with glory and honor.
You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their feet:
all flocks and herds,
and the animals of the wild,
the birds in the sky,
and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.

Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!

  1. Morning all.

I’d like to ask for prayer for Elizabeth.

She is struggling with her anxiety and depression at school. We picked her up and she saw the doctor yesterday. She has blood work this morning and some new medication. Prayers would be appreciated.

  2. My daughter will drive up (almost 4 hours) for the wake for one of her friends and former classmates today. Please keep her in prayer and also the family and friends of the young woman who died suddenly at 39 years of age. Some know the Lord, and some do not.

  3. It’s not surprising that so many are stuggling with anxiety and depression. I am not afraid to go out and be among the people. Mr. P is. Guess which of us is dealing with everything better. Of course I take Wellbutrin every day, so that may help.
AJ. Look into Mensa Medical. Sometimes they have a clinic in Annapolis. I want to take BG there.

  4. This is kinda late, but I forgot to say this earlier.

We are expecting possibly a foot of snow starting late tonight and going throughout tomorrow. Nightingale has to work, so she will be getting up two hours early to snow-blow the lane because the neighbor with the plow on his truck sleeps in on Saturdays, so he won’t be up to do that.

Please pray for her safety in driving to and from work in that snow, and also that we will not lose our power. Thank you.
