  1. Child abuse.

“Transing Children Is Child Abuse And Should Be Punished

A Dallas, Texas jury on Tuesday awarded custody of a seven-year-old child to his mother, who is on course to give him transgender hormones in a year or two that will render him sterile for life.”

“A Dallas, Texas jury on Tuesday awarded custody of a seven-year-old child to his mother, who has the boy dress as a girl while in her care because she believes he is transgender. The child’s father, Jeffrey Younger, has been fighting the child’s mother, Anne Georgulas, in court to prevent her from ultimately chemically and possibly physically castrating the child, which is now the politically correct way to treat gender dysphoria.

Younger says young James is comfortable as a boy while in his care, choosing boy clothes, preferring his male given name to his mother’s transgender moniker “Luna,” and describing himself as a boy. Witnesses his mother paid to appear during the trial explained this by calling him “gender fluid” and saying he “does not identify with only one gender.”

Georgulas sued to reduce Younger’s contact with his sons (James has a twin brother, Jude), and Younger requested a jury trial. Georgulas has had James diagnosed with gender dysphoria and marked on medical records as female, and has brought him to medical personnel who have recommended he begin puberty blockers perhaps in the next year or two, which will ultimately render him infertile. Puberty blockers have other side effects, according to Mayo Clinic, including high blood pressure, blood clots, weight gain, diabetes, and heart diseases.

During the court proceedings, LifeSiteNews reports,

the amicus attorney shared that James initially came to his mom asking to be called ‘Starfire,’ a female character in Teen Titans Go!

…Dr. Schumer, a pediatric endocrinologist specializing in gender ‘transitioning,’ was flown in from Michigan to testify. In his testimony, he said that children begin developing the concept of gender between six and seven years old, but later also stated it occurs between five and seven years old. James first reported to his father that his mother told him he was a girl when he was just three years old.

A mother of three boys who are “James’ and Jude’s best friends” posted publicly her planned court testimony that she was prevented from giving during this case. It included the following observations about James based on her sons’ relationship with him and spending more than “150 hours with them in the last year.”

Over the past year, I have observed that James is blissfully happy as a boy. He loves to march around outside and yell, ‘we are the only boy scout troop’ or ‘I’m the Leader of the wolf pack!’ He is always the ring leader, even though he isn’t the oldest of the group. He loves dressing as a super hero and sword fighting. One day we all walked to a playground near my house and on the way home James slipped in some mud and got his clothes dirty. He asked if he could borrow some of my kids clothes and I could wash his. Of course I said, ‘no problem’ and grabbed him a pair of shorts from the chest of drawers and tossed them to him. I said, ‘hang on while I grab a shirt from the closet’. He immediately said, ‘Mrs. Sarah, I don’t need a shirt! It’s hot! And boys don’t have to wear shirts if they don’t want to! Isn’t that awesome!’ He was so cute. I said, ‘yes that is awesome!’ As he ran off to play. I did eventually get him to put on a shirt. It was gray with lizards on it and he loved it! He also likes having his hair cut a certain way but told my son Grayson that his mom wouldn’t let him get it too short even though he wanted it to be spikey.

The mother should have her medical license stripped as well.

    https://www.cnbc.com/2019/10/20/amazon-is-shipping-expired-baby-formula-and-other-out-of-date-foods.html

“Amazon is shipping expired food, from baby formula to old beef jerky, scaring consumers and putting big brands at risk”

“Expired food is regularly sold to consumers via third-party vendors on Amazon.

Amazon’s marketplace has grown to millions of sellers, making it hard for the company to adequately police the platform.

Many brands have grown so frustrated by the abundance of expired products that they’re taking steps to clean up the marketplace themselves.”

Amazon’s sprawling marketplace, consisting of millions of third-party sellers, has become a go-to site for many grocery shoppers, especially since the company’s acquisition of Whole Foods over two years ago.

But an increasing number of consumers are finding that, just as the broader Amazon Marketplace has a major issue with counterfeits and unsafe products, the grocery section is littered with similarly problematic items in the form of expired foods.

From baby formula and coffee creamer to beef jerky and granola bars, items are arriving spoiled and well past their sell-by date, Amazon customers say. Interviews with brands, consumers, third-party sellers and consultants all point to loopholes in Amazon’s technology and logistics system that allow for expired items to proliferate with little to no accountability. Consumer safety advocates worry that as the marketplace grows, the problem will only get worse.”

So much for safe, legal, and rare…….

    https://thefederalist.com/2019/10/22/these-health-violations-at-illinois-abortion-facilities-will-make-you-sick/

“These Health Violations At Illinois Abortion Facilities Will Make You Sick

What if the reality is that abortion facilities operating right now, in full legality, are being consistently cited for health code violations for things that can endanger the lives of women?”

“One of the most common pro-abortion arguments is that legalization keeps abortion safe. The rationale goes something like this: whether people like it or not, some women will always seek out abortions. No matter what other services or programs are offered to help with crisis pregnancies, abortion is so needed, so necessary, that keeping it legal is the only way to keep women fully safe.

When legislation is brought up to limit abortion to certain gestational periods (such as before 20 weeks) or to limit abortions to only ambulatory surgical centers, abortion advocates oppose these measures, claiming it places undue burdens on women, seeks to control them, and will force them into underground, unsafe facilities.

What if the reality is that abortion facilities operating right now, in full legality, are being consistently cited for health code violations for things that can endanger the lives of women? What if the current system of legalized abortion isn’t actually keeping women safe?

It’s not idle conjecture to wonder this. Some recently published research suggests that post-abortive women are seeking emergency room care at high rates: “The incidence of abortion-related emergency department visits within six weeks of initial abortion procedure is about 40%.””

  5. A declaration of independence…….. from China.

A Declaration of Independence from China

“A Declaration of Independence from China

Anyone who says businesses can’t move supply chains is wrong. They moved them to China a few years ago. And they can move them again—and put America first.”

“The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has forgotten nothing and learned nothing.

The threats leveled at the NBA repulsed all Americans. Perhaps the Chinese Communist bosses expected all of us to respond like Lebron James, who criticized Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey for supporting pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong. But the American people don’t respond well to threats and don’t like to be pushed around.

The CCP tried, but it couldn’t split American farmers from President Trump.

Its apologists whined, “tariffs mean consumers will pay more.” It wasn’t true and that dog didn’t hunt anyway. Lord North discovered that three centuries ago, when he predicted American colonists would prefer to buy lower-priced leaf from the British East India Company. Americans understand the connection between production and consumption. They will pay more on the consumption end in order to earn more on the production end.

The chutzpah of the Chinese Communists and the cowardice of multi-millionaire athletes (and so many U.S. companies that put profit before principle) has awakened a sleeping giant.

It is clear the history of China’s Communist Party is one of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over the people of the United States as well as over the people of China.

A growing majority of Americans feel it has become necessary for our people to dissolve the economic bands which have connected us with Communist China.

There are three things we should do so the process happens organically and we suffer as little harm as possible: Incentivize, Identify, and Unify.”

  6. Plan?

There is no plan, other than impeachment. It’s all they have.

    https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2019/10/23/democrats-regional-inequality-plan-229869

“Why Democrats Don’t Have a Plan to Save ‘Left-Behind’ America

Liberal policymakers failed for decades to reckon with economic disparities among places, leaving candidates groping for answers.”

“During the primary campaign, Democratic presidential contenders have put forward a number of bold plans — from “Medicare for All” to free college.

But when it comes to an area pivotal to their political fortunes — providing a large-scale economic program for suffering small towns and rural areas — their plans are comparatively subdued and vague, from Joe Biden’s call for connecting executive agency leaders with organizations in rural America to Elizabeth Warren’s vow to develop a “National Jobs Strategy” focused on the unique challenges confronting places that lack the density and draw of large cities.

There’s a reason why Democrats appear stranded on this issue: For years, the liberal-leaning economists that the party relies on to fuel its domestic agenda failed to reckon with the stark economic disparities between parts of the country. Many of them dismissed proposals to create economic opportunity outside the handful of “knowledge economy” hubs in the nation’s largest metropolitan areas as inefficient transfers to lagging places.

At the same time, Democrats’ long-standing hold on urban America meant the party came to represent the winners of the “knowledge economy” — the largest, richest metropolitan areas — and the party’s leadership hailed from states home to the nation’s most successful “superstar” cities. Many of the party’s political strategists encouraged a blindness to the economic and social problems confronting much of the country by urging candidates to spend their time and energy mobilizing their urban base rather than courting hard-to-reach and hard-to-get rural voters. Campaigning outside the country’s cities has not been a priority for Democratic candidates and their strategists, let alone having something to say to these communities.

But while few prominent Democrats demanded solutions to address regional inequality, the party’s intellectual infrastructure also didn’t provide them for a long time.

“Until recently, there has been a faith among economists and other policy wonks that ignoring place, and investing in people’s skills and encouraging mobility, would be enough to solve regional inequality problems,” observes Timothy Bartik, an economist at the W.E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research, who says the 2016 election provided a wake-up call.”

  7. Forget Syria. What is the US doing about the failed state on our southern border? You know, the one that actually is our problem, is causing US deaths, and where we have an actual interest.

    https://thefederalist.com/2019/10/22/forget-syria-what-is-the-u-s-doing-about-the-failed-state-on-our-southern-border/

“A failed state just surrendered a drug lord’s son and a whole city to a drug cartel. In a sensible world, this would ring alarm bells in the Pentagon.”

“How would one categorize a nation-state whose army gives a drug baron’s son to cartel members after suffering brutal losses in pitched battles? The country whose firebrand leftist president apologized on television and said the army’s surrender to a drug cartel was the correct thing to do, because “we do not want war”?

If the reports are correct, this is precisely what happened in Mexico, around the same time the Democratic presidential primary field was debating whether there should be more trillion-dollar expenditures in the U.S. budget. Instead, a failed state on the southern border of the United States should ring alarm bells in the Pentagon.

A map in the BBC showed how Mexico is divided into four cartel zones, similar to warlords in Afghanistan or Libya. A few days back, Mexican National Guards surrounded drug lord El Chapo’s son in a house and after a heavy gunfight forced him to surrender and be arrested.

Then all hell broke loose. Cartel members surrounded the house and forced security to retreat. The army was called in after heavy violence, and even they were fought to a standstill. While there were not many reports of this in American mainstream media, social media was lit with videos of the Mexican military being surrounded by the cartel members.

There were also videos of Sinaloa cartel members in armored cars, with anti-tank grenade launchers, and heavy machine guns patrolling the streets of Mexican cities. In short, the balance of power passed to the hands of drug gangs, militias, and cartel members, who rioted, freed prisoners, and humiliated the national government.

Needless to mention, this is not normal. International relations is based on mutual trust between governments, who are expected to keep the authority in a region, especially one as vital as Mexico. Under El Chapo’s cartel, Sinaloa has been the biggest supplier of drugs in the United States. Even with El Chapo jailed, his family runs the business openly without any retribution.

The government is powerless and corrupt and compromised. Mexico’s leftist president and vocal U.S. critic Andrés Manuel López Obrador was elected to deal with the cartels and gangs. After this humiliating surrender, however, he thanked the security forces for releasing El Chapo’s son, saying that it was a prudent thing to do as the Mexican government is not willing to go to war. “The officials who took this decision did well,” he was reported by the BBC saying. “The capture of a criminal is not worth more people’s lives.”

Consider the implications. What does this mean for a country the size and geography of Mexico? A nation state is considered failed when there are parallel administrations and no central authority. For example, consider Antifa controlling Portland, or sanctuary cities where the local police have no power.”

“The whistleblower at the center of Democrats’ impeachment inquiry acknowledged to the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) that bias against President Trump might be alleged against him or her for a third, previously unreported reason, sources familiar with the ICIG investigation tell Fox News.

Fox News has previously reported the whistleblower is a registered Democrat and had a prior work history with a senior Democrat.

Though Fox News has learned that an additional element of possible bias was identified by the whistleblower, its nature remains unclear.

The whistleblower has insisted the complaint was not politically motivated, Fox News is told. Critics note, however, that the whistleblower met with House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff’s staff before the complaint was filed around mid-August.”

“Trump campaign scoops up Biden’s Latino voter web address, trolls his voter outreach”

“It didn’t take long for the Trump campaign to figure out how to troll Joe Biden moments after the former vice president’s campaign announced a Latino voter outreach program on Wednesday.”

“Biden, who spent the day campaigning across Pennsylvania and Iowa, announced “Todos Con Biden,” a “national network of Latino supporters” working to help elect the former vice president earlier on Wednesday.

But there’s one problem. The Biden campaign failed to purchase http://www.todosconbiden.com, or even lock down the @TodosConBiden Twitter handle before announcing the new effort — prompting the president’s reelection team to do what it does best: troll.

Now, the Trump campaign is using http://www.todosconbiden.com to mock the former vice president, with a landing page that says in both English and Spanish, “Oops, Joe forgot about Latinos.” The page also links out to the president’s own Latino outreach coalition “Latinos for Trump.” And the @TodosConBiden Twitter account, in the possession of the Trump campaign, has already begun posting unflattering counter messaging targeting Biden.

The reelection team told ABC News they bought the URL for a “minimal cost” after the Trump campaign’s coalition team noticed the URL for the new effort was still up for grabs.

“The Biden campaign continues to be inept with a deeply flawed candidate,” Deputy Communications Director Erin Perrine told ABC News. “Latinos are thriving under President Trump and now thanks to the Biden camp, people can find out more about that success at http://www.todosconbiden.com.””

  11. American faith groups agree: Trump should act more presidential
    October 22, 2019
    ______________________________

(RNS) — Americans disagree over just about everything — from gender roles and immigration to impeachment to whether the country is on the right track.

But most agree that President Donald Trump’s personal conduct is an issue.

Three-quarters of Americans (73%) say they wish “Trump’s speech and behavior were more consistent with past presidents,” according to a new report from the Public Religion Research Institute.

Faith groups agree, including a majority of black Protestants (81%), Hispanic Protestants (74%), white mainline Protestants (72%), Catholics (70%) and members of non-Christian faiths (69%). Americans with no religious affiliation (85%) also agree, as do a majority (albeit a smaller majority) of white evangelical Protestants (52%), who remain among Trump’s most ardent supporters.

Overall, faith groups and Americans in general “aren’t thrilled with Trump’s behavior,” said Natalie Jackson, director of research for PRRI. “Even a lot of Republicans would prefer that he acted more like past presidents.” …

Opinion: Why Joe Biden, blue-collar Catholic icon, may not be enough for the Dems to win
    October 22, 2019

(RNS) — It’s long been established that Donald Trump is supported by a tremendous share of white evangelical Protestants, and a poll from July indicated that three-quarters of them still approve of the job he’s doing. But there’s another religious group of the same size as white evangelicals that may be of even greater consequence to the political future of the country: white Catholics.

When Philip Bump of The Washington Post did a post-mortem shortly after the 2016 election on why Hillary Clinton lost, his analysis indicated that just 80,000 votes in three former Rust Belt states were the difference. Those decisive states were Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, all of which contain a tremendous share of Catholic voters, especially in rural areas. …

… If the eventual Democratic nominee, perhaps a fellow white Catholic like former Vice President Joe Biden, can narrow Clinton’s losses among white Catholics to Obama’s 2008 levels, the White House will change hands in January of 2021.

The data says that’s going to be an uphill climb.

White Catholics have been abandoning the Democrats en masse over the last four decades. In 1972, fully two-thirds of white Catholics sided with the Democrats, compared with just 21% who aligned with the GOP. By 2018, fewer than 4 in 10 white Catholics said they were Democrats, and 45.2% said that they were Republicans. Whoever wins the Democratic primary will start with a shrinking portion of the white Catholic vote. …
