Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 119:161-168
ש Sin and Shin
161 Rulers persecute me without cause,
but my heart trembles at your word.
162 I rejoice in your promise
like one who finds great spoil.
163 I hate and detest falsehood
but I love your law.
164 Seven times a day I praise you
for your righteous laws.
165 Great peace have those who love your law,
and nothing can make them stumble.
166 I wait for your salvation, Lord,
and I follow your commands.
167 I obey your statutes,
for I love them greatly.
168 I obey your precepts and your statutes,
for all my ways are known to you.
Kizzie, how is your back today?

So we have another series of fires within 50 miles of us which is freaking out people right and left.
A home schooling family from our church moved to Lake County last fall–where they could actually buy a house large enough to accomodate their seven children while dad works 50 miles away in our town, six days a week.
The eight year-old sat beside me during the Sunday School opening yesterday. He’s a handful but apparently trusts me. He wanted to tell me about the fires.
Of course I listened to him–after the opening finished!
He’s okay, eyes wide but animated as he detailed smelling smoke, seeing smoke and so forth. I asked if he was afraid and he said no, but I think in talking he’s processing.
Our marine layer is back in my town but the fires are two mountain ranges over–ranges being about 1500-2000 feet high, which is no big deal for us but mountains in New Hampshire.
I’m not worried, but I did smell smoke last night as I went to bed.
