Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 103
1 Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 The Lord works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.
7 He made known his ways to Moses,
his deeds to the people of Israel:
8 The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love.
9 He will not always accuse,
nor will he harbor his anger forever;
10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
13 As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
14 for he knows how we are formed,
he remembers that we are dust.
15 The life of mortals is like grass,
they flourish like a flower of the field;
16 the wind blows over it and it is gone,
and its place remembers it no more.
17 But from everlasting to everlasting
the Lord’s love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children—
18 with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts.
19 The Lord has established his throne in heaven,
and his kingdom rules over all.
20 Praise the Lord, you his angels,
you mighty ones who do his bidding,
who obey his word.
21 Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts,
you his servants who do his will.
22 Praise the Lord, all his works
everywhere in his dominion.
Praise the Lord, my soul.
Thank you, dear God, that we can lift all those here in need of prayer to You knowing You are working things out to help, to heal, to provide relief, and to protect from harm. Thank You that daily our blessings outweigh our hardships. Thank You for Your provisions of Your love, care, and comfort in good and bad times. May You continuously receive all the glory for the good You do. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Have been dealing with a cold, and not getting enough sleep, along with the normal daily dealing with grief, and all that has me feeling so weary. And I will be childsitting tonight.
X will be picking The Boy up from the school bus stop and having him for a while, then taking him to Lacrosse practice at 5:30. That would mean I would only have to deal with The Boy in getting him ready for bed and going to bed (which is sometimes tough enough). But. . .there is rain expected today, which could mean Lacrosse practice is cancelled, and X would bring him home early. This may be silly, but please pray with me that practice is not cancelled.
(I also childsat yesterday after school through bedtime, and that kid had me hopping, including kicking a ball around on the porch, and “target shooting” with his Nerf guns. I didn’t “feel” like playing, but I did anyway for his sake.)

I have reached out twice to BG and have not heard from her. She needs prayers.

My niece, H, embarks on a new journey today: working for a few years as a nanny for a family currently in Indonesia. She leaves the Midwest this afternoon and expects to arrive in Bali 30 hours later. Please pray for her safe travels and adjustment to a new lifestyle. Thank you.

Prayers for all…..
Kim I know how difficult it is to not hear from a young un’…..I have felt there was something amiss with my oldest since Feb. An urgency to pray for him had overcome me. I have heard from him once via text and he seemed ok. I sent his birthday gift along with a copy of his birth certificate…he had lost his copy….and have heard nothing. I texted him on his birthday….heard nothing. We will always be their Mom. The Lord intended it to be so….and we continue to lift them before Him…He loves them oh so much….keeping you and BG close in prayer as I pray for my own…. ♥️

What is it they say? A mother is only as unhappy as her most unhappy child?
I asked Stargazer last night if he was happy. He said he was. A relief for me.
Hard, NancyJill and Kim. xoxo

Twenty one year old son, the Ethiopian, just made Petty Officer. Good to hear from him. We don’t hear from him often. This is probably the second time he has contacted us without us first contacting him in years. And he rarely responded before, though he was often out to sea. But, eventually, they tend to get back. It takes time and leaving them alone to figure things out.

Still at the surgical center. The doc is behind so her surgery is too. We figured we would be heading home by now…..

Michelle – I think you meant to say that a mother is only as happy as her most unhappy child. 🙂

Or maybe it’s “as her least happy child”? Something like that.
So far, Lacrosse practice is still on. X picked The Boy up from the bus stop, so even if it gets cancelled last minute (we’ve had some rain), at least he’ll have him for a little while, and I won’t have as much time to fill with him. Still feeling weary.
For a while there, though, X was saying he was sure practice would be cancelled, and wanted to take him a different day. Then he decided to get him anyway.
