Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 144:1-10
1 Praise be to the Lord my Rock,
who trains my hands for war,
my fingers for battle.
2 He is my loving God and my fortress,
my stronghold and my deliverer,
my shield, in whom I take refuge,
who subdues peoples under me.
3 Lord, what are human beings that you care for them,
mere mortals that you think of them?
4 They are like a breath;
their days are like a fleeting shadow.
5 Part your heavens, Lord, and come down;
touch the mountains, so that they smoke.
6 Send forth lightning and scatter the enemy;
shoot your arrows and rout them.
7 Reach down your hand from on high;
deliver me and rescue me
from the mighty waters,
from the hands of foreigners
8 whose mouths are full of lies,
whose right hands are deceitful.
9 I will sing a new song to you, my God;
on the ten-stringed lyre I will make music to you,
10 to the One who gives victory to kings,
who delivers his servant David.
Thank you everyone for praying for Grandbaby Andy. He’s much better now and has been released from the hospital. I so appreciate your kindness and loving concern.

Please pray that a hurting tooth won’t get worse before I can get in to see a dentist. I think this tooth may be why I’ve been having headaches for the past several days. Something like this happened to me years ago.

My husband has finally turned the corner with this lingering illness. He’s not “all the way better” yet, but a turned corner is a vast relief.

Happy to hear good news for Andy and Mr. Cheryl; have prayed for Kizzie.
I could use some wisdom about when to return to exercising at the gym. My back is so much better and I’m able to move effortlessly now, but there is a lingering ache in my hip. I’m leery about returning but I want to dance and I don’t want to waste any more money on the membership.
I’m thinking Wednesday and going slow, but this is what my hip/back felt like three weeks ago when I went to the gym figuring I could stretch it out. I ended up in 2.5 weeks of misery and lost writing time. I don’t want to do that again.
Thanks.

Twenty one year old daughter is struggling with depression and self harm thoughts. You remember her older brother killed himself a few months ago.

Nightingale needed some work done, too, so she made appointments for both of us for Wednesday. I feel relieved that it will be taken care of soon.
I’ve had these intermittent aching teeth (one on the back upper right and one on the back upper left, often taking turns) for a few years now. For some reason, our former dentist didn’t think they were at the point of needing to be worked on (and I would have had to have gone to a specialist for some reason). Then we lost our insurance when Hubby left Hostess.
One of those teeth would start to ache for a coupe days or so, then the ache would go away. This would happen every couple or few months, sometimes longer between episodes of aching. The ache would always eventually go away, but each time I would wonder if this was “the time” when the ache would only get worse until it was taken care of, so I would be anxious while the tooth was aching. I knew that I eventually should get them taken care of, but without insurance, kept putting it off.
Now that I am on state insurance (don’t hate me for that), I can do it, although there is a yearly cap of $1000 for dental work, so I will probably opt to have the teeth removed rather than have any root canals or crowns. (That’s what I was planning anyway, not only because of having to pay for the extra cost.) When the headaches were continuing daily last week, I started to wonder if they were related to a tooth issue, as that happened to me years ago, before the tooth even started aching. Then yesterday, the ache came in, and the connection to the headache seems (at least) clear. It is time to do this. (I just wish I could go back to the dentists we went to for close to 30 years, but they are in Massachusetts, not on the dental plan.)

That’s probably more than y’all needed to know about my teeth. 🙂

Michelle, a PE instructor gave me some advice years ago.
“Listen to your body. If it hurts, it’s telling you not to do it. If it doesn’t hurt and you put it off, you’re just being lazy.”
Or some such, I don’t remember exact words.

What a relief. I thought I was perhaps being lazy . . . 🙂

Daughter locked her keys in the car, please pray that we will be able to get it open. The closest lock person is over an hour away.

Oh, the car is running and it’s -30C outside.

That’s frustrating. At least it was when our oldest daughter did the same thing. Somebody had to come from some distance and did something that should have set the airbags off but didn’t.
