1 The Mighty One, God, the Lord, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to where it sets. 2 From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth. 3 Our God comes and will not be silent; a fire devours before him, and around him a tempest rages. 4 He summons the heavens above, and the earth, that he may judge his people: 5 “Gather to me this consecrated people, who made a covenant with me by sacrifice.” 6 And the heavens proclaim his righteousness, for he is a God of justice.
Friends from church lost their 34-day old granddaughter on Thursday. She wasn’t ill and there were no issues, so I’m not sure what happened and didn’t want to ask yesterday. The obit just said, “suddenly.” There are no words.
I’m sure you remember the girl who was kicked in the head by a horse. She is making good recovery neurologically, and is set to return to school. However, she has developed an infection at the site where she was kicked. Bone infections are difficult to treat, so she has to be on pretty strong antibiotics via IV for some weeks. If it doesn’t work, she will have to have surgery to remove the infected area, which could set her back.
Oh Linda.
Thanks for the update Roscuro
I am worried about my friend L. Just walking from her car into the house yesterday winded her.
Praying for all of the above.
Update on Little Guy’s therapy: He has been released from counseling, because he has made great strides in handling his emotions. There are still issues that pop up from time to time, which is to be expected, but he is doing much better. Thank you for praying for him.
Kali is just a cat who has plagued me for most of her 21.5 years, but I’m feeling pretty sad today. My husband thinks we need to put her down and of course he’s right.
I’ve said it before Michelle, our pets are with us almost every day. We care for them and they leave a hole when they are gone. It’s not like they ever pick up the phone and call us, but they were trusted to our care.
Praising God with you, Kizzie, for Little Guy’s progress in therapy.
Praying for all above. Such heartache and difficult situations. So sorry.
Praising God and thanking you all for your prayers on my weekend requests. The tough conversation Saturday morning that went so badly ended up bringing some good fruit today. How merciful and gracious is our Lord! Thank you for lifting us up, friends.
