🙂 We have common milkweed in our yard (it planted itself last year) and this is the year it will bloom. (It blooms the second year.) That plant attracts more species of insect than anything I’ve ever seen, so all that stuff about “Monarch caterpillars eat milkweed because it’s poisonous to everything else” is just nonsense. By the end of summer, most plants don’t have any leaves left, and they start with very large leaves. There are just lots and lots of critters that like milkweed.
🙂 Brutal election week with having to write 4 other stories between Thursday and Friday nights, the last of which I’ve spent much of my Saturday tweaking.
🙂 Got the dogs out for a much-needed trip to the dog park late today, we’re adjusting walking schedules due to our new coyote neighbors across the street.
I just got around to reading the Friday Funnies. Not funny at all.
We went down to Spartanburg for church this morning.
FBC Spartanburg is a HUGE church. Larger than Travis Avenue in Fort Worth.
I was surprised at that.
We lived in Spartanburg for a year and a half in 1962-63. But we attended Oak Grove BC.
First!
(Where is everybody?)
😦 My husband hasn’t felt well this week.
😦 This summer is just too crazy busy.
🙂 The butterflies are here.

🙂 Editor didn’t SCREAM when he texted me last night about my long coyote story (which doubled in length during the course of Saturday)
