😦 Just this morning, Emily found some messages on her phone from a co-worker Stephanie, asking her to take her shift today (9:30 – 6:30). Emily asked if we would babysit Forrest, & I said yes, but asked her to see if she could split the shift with Stephanie. Emily said she took the first half of the day. Okay, that’s not so bad. (We also babysat yesterday, & Emily will be working from 9:30 to 4:00, getting home around 4:45, tomorrow.)
A little while ago, Lee called Emily at Claire’s to find out what time she will get out. Turns out Steph didn’t get back to her, so Emily may be working the whole day anyway. If Steph was sick, I’d be more sympathetic, but that’s not the case.
Sadly, Emily & Steph are the only two actually reliable employees at this Claire’s, & it is looking like Emily is the go-to girl more often.
🙂 Good thing we love this kid so much. (We did not have Chrissy come over, but she will be here tomorrow.)

😦 I think of petty little rants during the week, but then forget what they were by the time Saturday comes along.

🙂 Work day at camp today. Lots of people came out and we got a lot accomplished.
