  1. There’s a Bernie rally today just down the hill from me on the waterfront. It’s supposed to start at 11 but people were expected to line up hours before that to get in. A reporter from one of our sister papers who’s been covering all the national political candidate appearances locally will be there so we should get something online by mid afternoon. The locals are all very excited about it, this is a Bernie kind of port town with all the activist unions.

    The polls now have Sanders & Clinton head to head in California, her once comfortable lead has vanished. If she loses (even though she’ll probably have the delegates needed by then), I’m guessing there will be a lot of hand-wringing in the party.
