¹Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation.
2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.
3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.
5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.
8 Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.
9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.
10 Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.
11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
12 For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
Only news is the procedure went well and she’s home from the hospital. We’ll stop by with flowers later today. I suspect the real grieving now begins. 😦
Emily is off to her date now, & Forrest is asleep. They are having dinner, then going to a drive-in movie. (Lee & I are not thrilled about them going to a drive-in movie. At least she has her pepper spray with her if she needs it.)
Reading about Earthquakes in Japan and now one in Ecuador where my family by marriage are. Power is out in many areas and there are some deaths. A sister in law and nice live in one of the harder hit areas. So please pray for them and others in Japan and Ecuador it times of hardship and confusion.
Thank You for a special day each week in which we can focus on You more intently. I hope You feel love pouring out to You in many styles and ways this day.
I continue to lift up all in Michelle’s family who are going through this major grieving. You know each of their individual needs as they process loss. I pray Your soothing comfort especially for the mom and dad and that when the time is right that You would allow them to have a successful pregnancy.
Lord, I lift up Emily to You for guidance. Please be the still small voice telling her where to go and what to do. Even though she may not recognize who You are just yet, please look after her in this anything goes world. In time, and in Your ways, I pray You will reveal Yourself and Your protective love to her. I ask the same for Chrissy, and also BG and any others who are children of this blog family.
Abba, You have eyes all over this wortld watching and caring for Your children. I pray for all Your image bearers in Japan, Equador, and other areas hit by earthquakes and other disasters. Help those who may be stuck waiting in dangerous situations. Please restore communication breakdowns. Help parents to console scared and crying children. I pray any elderly affected will have medicine and medical supplies quickly available. Please help the committed responders who face danger in trying to save lives. And please give clean and fresh water supplies and food for those who may perish without. You see each need even before it arises. I pray You will overcome the distresses brought on by these disasters and make good to come forward through salvations of those who finally understand Your goodness in times of trouble. May all Christian outreaches have success in spreading the gospel of Jesus in these nations. I pray in His name, Amen
Emily made it home safe from her date. He didn’t “try anything”, not even a goodnight kiss, & they had a fun time. They are both introverted & tend to feel awkward trying to make small talk, but managed to have few awkward pauses in the conversation. They may see each other again.

Mourning the loss with you, Michelle. Relationships are so important and we start one as soon as we think the new baby has begun to grow.

Forgot to mention. . .Forrest did wake up once, crying, but came downstairs, grabbed my afghan, & fell back to sleep on the living room floor. 🙂
