Prayer Requests 3-19-16

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 130

¹Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.

Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

Let Israel hope in the Lord: for with the Lord there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

  1. Oldest daughter arrived home last night, and got violently ill with a stomach virus around 3 a.m. She’s got nothing left to throw up, but her body keeps trying, anyway… When she gets sick (the last time was 2 months ago, also when she was home), she gets REALLY sick. Please pray for relief for her. Thanks.

  2. Nineteen year old just learned that she has cancer and needs surgery. Apparently, she has four tumors in her chest, and one needs to be removed soon. She had not told us (she got the results a couple of days ago) and is in a state of denial, thinking she can just go to Seattle and get things done and does not need to worry anybody. She especially does not want her younger sis to know. Thanks for praying.

  3. Daughter appears to be done throwing up now (nothing for the last five hours, whereas it was about every 45 minutes from 3:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today). She perked up around 3:00 this afternoon, so hopefully the worst of it is done now, though she’s quite achy. Thanks for prayers. She’s on her way back home now — her boyfriend was also in this part of the state, so he is driving her back. Prayers for their safe travel (about three hours) are appreciated, and also for her full recovery. Thank you.

  4. We are getting a few inches of snow tonight into tomorrow morning. Please pray for safety for Lee as he drives during those hours.

Update on my friend’s husband, who had a heart attack: Earlier today, Susan wrote, “He woke up!” (I didn’t realize that he had been unconscious.) There’s a long road ahead, but she is hopeful. Thank you for your prayers for them.
