  1. Dems and abortion supporters need a new meme, ‘cuz this one’s busted.

The PP videos were not “heavily edited” as they claimed. The full videos have always been available, they’re just too lazy to do research on their own and prefer instead to just parrot the talking points of others.

“Coalfire Systems, a highly accredited forensic analysis and cybersecurity company that does work for Fortune 500 companies, issued a report Monday which found that 10 full-footage videos the Center for Medical Progress recorded while undercover at Planned Parenthood facilities and related locations “are authentic and show no evidence of manipulation or editing.”

“This conclusion is supported by the consistency of the video file date and time stamps, the video timecode, as well as the folder and file naming scheme,” the report states. “The uniformity between the footage from Investigator 1’s camera and Investigator 2’s camera also support the evidence that the video recordings are authentic.” The report also confirms that “edits made to the Full Footage videos [for the shorter YouTube videos] were applied to eliminate non-pertinent footage, such as restroom breaks, meals, and other similar periods lacking pertinent conversation.”

“The Coalfire forensic analysis removes any doubt that the full length undercover videos released by the Center for Medical Progress are authentic and have not been manipulated,” said ADF Senior Counsel Casey Mattox. “Analysts scrutinized every second of video recorded during the investigation released by CMP to date and found only bathroom breaks and other non-pertinent footage had been removed. Planned Parenthood can no longer hide behind a smokescreen of false accusations and should now answer for what appears to be the very real crimes revealed by the CMP investigation.”

  2. In the last debate Carly Fiorina described a video that showed an intact and very much born alive fetus before it was killed after a failed abortion. Abortion supporters claimed no such video existed.

But it does, and now it’s out. I’ll not post the video, for obvious reasons, but here’s the story.

    http://time.com/4053578/abortion-carly-fiorina-planned-parenthood/?xid=tcoshare

“The video that Carly Fiorina graphically described at the last Republican presidential debate, depicting a moving fetus on a table following an apparent abortion, was released online in its entirety Tuesday morning, according to Gregg Cunningham, the founder of the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform, who collected the footage.

Cunningham, an anti-abortion activist, declined to identify the date, location or authors of the video in an interview with TIME Monday night, saying his group makes agreements of confidentiality in an effort to acquire images of abortions. He also made no claim that the images shown in the video had anything to do with Planned Parenthood, the organization that Fiorina and others have targeted for federal defunding. “I am neither confirming or denying the affiliation of the clinic who did this abortion,” Cunningham said.

During the debate on Sept. 16, Fiorina denounced the images on videos that had been produced by a separate group, the Center for Medical Progress (CMP). “As regards [to] Planned Parenthood, anyone who has watched this videotape, I dare Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama to watch these tapes,” she said. “Watch a fully formed fetus on the table, its heart beating, its legs kicking while someone says we have to keep it alive to harvest its brain.”

No video released by the Center for Medical Progress showed the image Fiorina described, but one of the CMP videos does include a brief edited clip from the video Cunningham released on Tuesday, showing a fetus on a stainless steel background with its leg moving.

David Daleiden, who created the Center for Medical Progress videos, edited in the Cunningham footage to illustrate a story that he had been told on camera of a medical technician witnessing an abortion that resulted in an extracted fetus with moving legs and beating heart.

The full source video, which is extremely graphic, lasts about 13 minutes, and shows a fetus being extracted from the mother, placed in a metal bowl, prodded with medical instruments and handled by someone in the room. At times the fetus appears to move, and at other times it appears to have a pulse. There are no images on the full video of any attempt to harvest the brain of the fetus, and there is no sound. Cunningham said the jump cuts in the video are the result of the camera being turned off and on.

Cunningham says he is confident the procedure was an abortion, and not a miscarriage, owing to the lack of medical treatment offered to the fetus. He said he estimated the age of the fetus at about 17 and a half weeks. “It is unimaginably more horrifying than the clip that we licensed for CMP to use and that Carly Fiorina made reference to in the debate,” Cunningham said.

A retired Air Force Reserve colonel and former Pennsylvania state representative, Cunningham founded the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform with the aim of spreading images of abortions and fetal remains, in an effort to shift the national debate.”

  3. PP is getting a lot of support from my friends, too. And Carley’s getting reamed every chance they get; she’s, as one FB friend put it, “a poor excuse for a human being.”

    Sheesh.

Probably good my job (along with some prevailing good sense) prevents me getting into tangles with these folks. But I really do have to literally bite my tongue and fingers in order to scroll by, sometimes.

  4. Religion of Peace update…..

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/germany/11896855/Christian-and-Muslim-refugees-should-be-housed-separately-says-German-police-chief.html

“Christian and Muslim refugees should be housed separately in Germany to minimise tensions following growing levels of violence at asylum seeker shelters, a police chief has urged.
Jörg Radek, deputy head of Germany’s police union, said migrants should be divided, following increasing numbers of attacks on Christians in refugee centres.

“I think housing separated according to religion makes perfect sense,” Jörg Radek, deputy head of Germany’s police union, told German newspaper Die Welt, particularly for Muslims and Christians.”

“The first outbreak of violence in the afternoon was triggered by a dispute in the canteen at lunchtime between two groups of around 60 refugees, followed by a second clash in the evening involving a group of 70 migrants against another of 300.

A few days earlier on Thursday evening, a fight broke out among up to 200 Syrian and Afghan refugees at a shelter in Leipzig, with migrants wielding table legs and slats.”

““The police have reached their absolute breaking point,” said Mr Radek. “Our officials are increasingly being called to confrontations in refugee homes. When there are 4,000 people in a home which only actually has places for 750, this confinement then leads to aggression where even a tiny thing like the corridor to the toilet can lead to violence.”

Mr Radek’s comments follow calls from German MPs from across the political spectrum for better protection for Christians, Yazidis and other religious minorities in asylum accommodation.”

  5. It has never worked, Michelle.
I haven’t followed the Obama?Putin thing, but according to the news this morning, things are getting confrontational.
I’m with Putin on the Syria thing. As bad a Assad may be, the alternative is chaos, just like Iraq and Libya.

  6. Oh boy…..

“A Russian general asked the U.S. to remove its planes from Syrian airspace Wednesday, just hours before Russian airstrikes began there.

The Russian three-star general, who was part of the newly formed intelligence cell with Iraq, Iran, and the Syrian government, arrived in Baghdad at 9 a.m. local time and informed U.S. officials that Russian strikes would be starting imminently—and that the U.S. should refrain from conducting strikes and move any personnel out. The only notice the U.S. received about his visit was a phone call one hour earlier.

The Russian strikes were centered about the city of Homs, according to initial accounts in the local press and in social media. That’s significant, because Homs is not known to be an ISIS stronghold.

“The northern countryside of Hama has no presence of ISIS at all and is under the control of the Free Syrian Army,” Major Jamil al-Saleh of the Free Syrian Army told Reuters.

The FSA has receieved U.S.-made anti-tank missiles; the CIA and Pentagon have been recruiting FSA soldiers as proxies against ISIS.

“There is no Islamic State in this area,” another FSA commander told Reuters. “The Russians are applying great pressure on the revolution. This will strengthen terrorism, everyone will head toward extremism. Any support for Assad in this way is strengthening terrorism.””

Time for a strongly worded letter from the White House. 🙄

  7. 1. Since the U.S. has spent tens of millions of dollars and has only been able to train “4 or 5” rebels; and
    2. Since the bulk of weapons provided by the U.S. wound up in the hands of ISIS; and
    3. Since the U.S. is the reason ISIS exists as it is largely composed of Iraqi Sunnis kicked out of the Iraqi army by the U.S.; and
    4. Since U.S. policies have led to anarchy in an entire region, hundreds of thousands of deaths and millions of refugees,

It is actually time for the U.S. to get out of Russia’s way. Our former allies in the region (including Saudi Arabia and Israel) understand this and are dealing with Russia, the new leader of the world community.

Many who heard the speeches at the UN by Obama and Putin are beginning to understand who is the strong, rational leader and who is the imbecile.

  8. Another historical comparison is 1918-1919. Then and now a naive, foolish US president created a very dangerous situation by the promotion of democracy and the removal of historic rulers.

  9. He also had the Spanish flu during the Versaille conference, refused to admit it and then was unable to negotiate well. Sort of like Roosevelt at Yalta.

    Pride . . . amazing what horrors come as a result of it. 😦 😦 😦

  10. You are right, Michelle. I remember Liitle Bush in the debate with Gore saying the U.S. needed to be “humble” in its foreign policy. It was one of his finest moments and contrasted strongly with Gore’s arrogance.
Then he was thrown into the 9/11 maelstrom and had the early success in Afghanistan and it all went to his head and warnings about the negative consequences of an Iraq invasion flew out the window. The same hubris might have affected any man. It certainly came to Lee after Chancellorsville.

But God has a purpose in all of this. I think it may be that He deems the U.S. no longer fit for world leadership. Perhaps the US will turn back to him. Perhaps we are in the final days.
