No prayer requests today? Well, I guess I’ve got one, if you’d like to pray for me. I will be hearing tomorrow from the family of the prospective piano student I mentioned last week regarding his restarting piano lessons (after having not studied in about a year after his previous teacher stopped giving lessons). I might hear one of three different things: yes he will, no he won’t, or they want to sit down and talk with me at my home before deciding (which is an option I gave them).
Please pray that the best possible outcome will come of this, that I will be patient if they want more time to decide (while giving them a reasonable deadline for when I’d like an answer), and that I won’t get mired in negative thinking, as is beginning to happen now, that a delayed answer means the final answer will probably be “no.”
Thank You for the evidence of Your power in the weather. Yesterday was both dark and stormy and later it became fresh and sunny. Thank You for the hope experienced that when stormy times arrive they are just for awhile until the sun shines through the darkness.
Lord, I offer my prayers to You this new day for my friends on this blog. They all have needs because that is a part of being human. Some needs are more desperate than others. Especially I pray for those who carry the burden of spiritually, lost loved ones. That above all for the Christian, is a desperate concern.
Lord, I lift up 6 Arrows request for a quick decision from the piano student’s family. If a no answer, please provide a better replacement student to benefit the student’s musical advancement and 6 Arrows need for supplemental income.
Lord as my husband continues to be in the hospital without resolution to his cellulitis, I pray today would bring answer to the best process for treatment. Please give the doc supernatural guidance as to the best way to healing.
Also, Lord, I pray for traveling mercies as my son and others fly into town today for a conference. Please bless all with a great conference and an enjoyable time in Atlanta.
I pray in the name of Jesus, the most powerful name on Whom we call upon in times of trouble and in moments of awe. Amen
