¹Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.
2 I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.
3 He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.
4 My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.
5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.
6 They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit before me, into the midst whereof they are fallen themselves. Selah.
7 My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.
8 Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
9 I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations.
10 For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds.
11 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth.
my back is feeling better, thanks so much for praying. On Sunday I would get out of my chair and couldn’t stand all the way up, had to lean on the counter a while before I could stand up all the way. Today I can actually stand up from sitting Another day of rest has been wonderful. I am going to continue to rest for the rest of this week. Which means that I will teach, but that I will not be going to the weight room. 🙂
Please pray for me as I have to ask some people to attend a fundraising dinner. This is out of my comfort zone especially since I did not get a very good response last year. Also, the location of the dinner is a distance so that makes it even more difficult to get attendees. Thanks for your prayers.
My fifteen year old niece, Ruthie, just got on a plane in San Antonio to fly back to Nairobi, Kenya for boarding school. She is making the journey alone for the first time. Please pray for safe travels. Thanks.
Prayers for me, please, as we begin our first full year of homeschooling. Becca’s been very resistant the past two days, which is making for long, tedious days that call for more patience than I seem to have. I got really frustrated with her today. I so desperately want this to be a good experience for her–not one where she remembers being in trouble all the time. She basically refused to work until I threatened with an If/then approach. As in, if you don’t do the work, then no one can come play this afternoon. She finally settled down after about an hour and a half and we got through today’s material. But, boy, was it painful!
Praying for Ruthie as she travels alone today….
And praying Becca will settle in once again with the routine of school. And praying for her teacher Ann!
Thank You for a day well spent. Thank You for praying friends who lighten the burdens. Thank You for believers all over this nation. Please help us all to take a stand for religious freedom before we lose what we cherish even as we take it for granted.
Lord, please bless Annms in those ways she mentioned. Please help her daughters to feel Your presense with them. Encourage them in ways that You may receive glory.
Lord, I want to type in all my prayers. I am falling asleep! I will continue prayer tomorrow.
In Jesus”name, Amen
