Prayer Requests 6-26-14

Who has a praise or request they’d like to share?

And it’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo and the folks in PNG.

Psalm 1

¹Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

  1. Please pray for Hillary today as she journeys to the Italian consulate in San Francisco for examination of her visa docs. One letter is still on its way from Italy but she’s got a scanned copy of it–which the Italians never like.

I’ve become so totally Oswald Chamberish on this, “if it’s from God, it will happen, if not, he has something else in mind,” that I’m afraid I’m not as sympathetic as she seeks . . . . but she understands OC very well after living with us since February!

She’s got everything arranged to return in September, this is the big step with only a little margin time-wise.

    Thanks.

  2. Please pray for a girl named Maya and her mother, Jennifer. Maya has had terrible physical problems for a few years now. They cannot find a diagnosis. She is back in the emergency room again. They also need the Lord.

  3. Glad to hear it, Michelle. Much as I enjoyed the opportunity to live in Italia, the thing I most remember is the interminable lines for processing and the time the polizia came to my apartment to argue that I could not possibly share the same last name as my husband so we must be harboring illegals in our apartment. I finally convinced him that in America, women often took the name of the husband. Much like they used to in Italy. Memories…..
