😥 Missing Maylasia airplane.
😦 Messy weather in Charleston last week.
🙂 Snow is gone, every trace.
😦 When two people are sleeping in a king size bed, it’s the same as sleeping alone.
🙂 Birds singing in the morning
🙂 Good Christian books to read
🙂 Husband over stomach virus
😦 Having some pain in my leg
🙂 The extreme goodness of God
🙂 Turkey drumsticks for dinner
🙂 Chance to see what Bosley does with a stalk of celery. Maybe stalk it?
🙂 It’s 80 degrees and sunny here, but with a cool breeze. Beautiful day and I got to go watch a cattle-sorting corral exercise at our local horse club-ranch, part of a story I’ve been working on. We had a photographer there too.
🙂 Can’t help it, I love the whole ambience of those places — the dirt, the horses & cattle, the creaky saddles. Even the ripe smell of stables. 🙂
🙂 Talked to a local guy out there who’s getting a movie made of his life as a bull rider, will do a story on that once it gets far enough a long.
🙂 Next weekend I’ll be out there again with Tess for a special sheepherding class.
🙂 I talked to my friend who has Parkinson’s by phone this morning and will try to visit him this weekend. He sounded better than I expected although he doesn’t like the facility he’s in (but hopefully that won’t be for too much longer).
😦 I probably should also stop by a memorial gathering that’s ongoing through the afternoon of the artist in town who died earlier this year. But right now it just feels good to be home & in from the sun, sipping a tall glass of bubbly diet 7-Up.
🙂 We can still see snow on the mountains, but it’ll be gone soon enough.
😦 But we didn’t get that view often enough this past winter when it was so ridiculously warm. 😦
😦 The sad photographs coming out showing the distraught family members of passengers on that missing airliner.
😦 Hubby was very discouraged & down yesterday about the hours & responsibilities of owning this route. (Getting things ready for the accountant to do our taxes has turned out to be tougher than he thought.)
🙂 When the girls & little guy move upstairs, we will have a room for an office, which will make organizing all that stuff much easier. (I want to take over the paperwork & organizing for him.)
🙂 Emily just finished her first week of classes (in the part-time LPN program).
🙂 Forrest is confused about why his mommy has to go to school & study so much, but he’s handling it pretty well.
this is where you are, Chas! I was looking for you on the daily thread. So nice to see you at 9pm my time instead of 10pm.
No daylight savings here. It is always dark by 7, no matter the time of year.
😦 Cat is not on Daylight Saving Time. She was in my face trying to wake me up at 6:30 a.m. — her usual time, right on the dot, except now it’s still dark out at that time and I won’t let her go out in the dark.
