prayers today for my daughter and her family who are driving from Boulder,CO to Grass Valley. yes, you can do it in one day. All four girls are all strapped in, but it is a very long day.

Prayer please, for fifteen year old girl with a migraine. She gets lots of headaches (I may have given her ibuprofen five times in her life, but that is a lot) and frequent stomachaches. This is her worst migraine. Thanks.
You’re only in Grass Valley? We did Colorado Springs to Ukiah, CA in 23 hours, once. We listened to 24 straight episodes of Adventures in Odyssey. We all hated Chris, the announcer, by the end!
Mumsee, Excedrin works well on migraines. I have had migraines since I was a child and that’s what always worked for me. I’ve tried a prescription, but I went back to a combination of Excedrin and ibuprophen. For really bad ones, Excedrin, a dark room and sleep.
We could use some prayers. We have a family gathering to travel to (a couple hours away). Inclement weather was predicted to start early today, but has not begun, so we don’t know if traveling will be an issue, if the prediction was right or wrong. Also, some of us developed stomach aches rather suddenly after yesterday’s family gathering, and we’re wondering if there was a touch of food poisoning or something. We’re mostly feeling pretty well, but I’m still feeling a little sick, but will go along with the family anyway.
The son managed to come around. The daughter kicked her migraine with Excedrin Migraine. I hesitate to give the children anything with aspirin but when I read the precautions again, it said not to give it if they had flu or chicken pox symptoms. Of course, one of the symptoms for both is a headache… I use it, too much, probably going to lose my liver over it, but I prefer to be functional while here.

I’m impressed Michelle. Last year we made it Boulder to Grass Valley in 17 1/2 hours. 6:30am until midnight. Hard on little girls in car seats though
