Who has a request or praise to share today?
Psalm 26
¹ Vindicate me, O Lord, For I have walked in my integrity. I have also trusted in the Lord; I shall not slip.
2 Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; Try my mind and my heart.
3 For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes, And I have walked in Your truth.
4 I have not sat with idolatrous mortals, Nor will I go in with hypocrites.
5 I have hated the assembly of evildoers, And will not sit with the wicked.
6 I will wash my hands in innocence; So I will go about Your altar, O Lord,
7 That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving, And tell of all Your wondrous works.
8 Lord, I have loved the habitation of Your house, And the place where Your glory dwells.
9 Do not gather my soul with sinners, Nor my life with bloodthirsty men,
10 In whose hands is a sinister scheme, And whose right hand is full of bribes.
11 But as for me, I will walk in my integrity; Redeem me and be merciful to me.
12 My foot stands in an even place; In the congregations I will bless the Lord.
Wandering Views 
The Kid got his heart broken yesterday.. A little girl in his class who (whom?) he liked told another boy she would be his girlfriend.Last night, I let him cry, throw cushions and eat an extra pop tart. He seems okay this morning but a prayer that he could not let his bad feelings get him in trouble today would be appreciated.

Heavenly Father,
I praise You for Your unsurpassing goodness. Thank you for always being with us and giving us reminders of how much You care about us and our families. I pray for the son of Kbells as he feels the pangs of puppy love lost. Help him to not dwell on the loss but to recognize that in Your goodness You have better plans for him. May Your love and his parents love be seen to be just what he needs for this time in his life. Help him to have a balanced perspective and gain wisdom from a short time of suffering. Thank You that Kbells can rest knowing her son is in Your good care. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Whenever he tells me who in the 5th grade is going with who, I ask him “Where are they going?” He usually doesn’t have an answer.
