Who can we pray for today?
Psalm 22:1-5
¹ My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? Why are You so far from helping Me, And from the words of My groaning?
2 O My God, I cry in the daytime, but You do not hear; And in the night season, and am not silent.
3 But You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.
4 Our fathers trusted in You; They trusted, and You delivered them.
5 They cried to You, and were delivered; They trusted in You, and were not ashamed.
Prayers, please, for Becca to have someone to play with at recess. It’s really hard on a kid to be the one who is left out, and it certainly breaks a Momma’s heart. Thanks!

Thanks for this psalm Aj. God is enthroned in our praises, so lets use this for a praise thread too. Though I know that we already do, such praise when God answers our prayers.
As a teacher on recess duty, I wish that I could watch out for Becca Annms. Praying for that one kind friend who will be there for her.

It’s the Kid’s first day back since getting detention on Friday. He is still angry about it and thinks now the teacher won’t like him. I’ve warned and threatened and lectured and encouraged. It’s up to him.

It sounds like hard lessons are being learned, kBells. I wish none of us needed them. Alas, since Adam and Eve it IS necessary. I pray both children’s days are better for them.

Annms, I have shared this on here before but don’t think you were here. I had a son who was lonely and desperately wanted a friend. He talked and talked about it. I suggested he pray for one. He did and a short while later, a little boy from his class started showing up every day after school, asking son to come out and play. But every day, son declined. I asked him why but he just did not want to. And this from a boy who spent hours outside playing with his brother and sister and other children. Eventually, the boy stopped. Son went on to grow up and is a well adjusted thirty something. No moral to the story, take what you can find.

I would like for everyone to pray for me. I have the opportunity explore a technical teaching position. The position would require a lot of travel, but I could move to part-time after I retire which would be in about 10 years. Thanks in advance.

My dad has been having difficulty with irregular heartbeat lately. He is 83 years old and was hospitalized briefly last December (his first hospitalization ever, other than when he was born) for the same thing. He will be seeing a cardiac specialist on the 16th this month. He has had no issues with his heart other than last Dec. and now again recently. His dad survived all six of the heart attacks he had had and lived to be 95 years old, so there is some family history there (although Grandpa had been a smoker up until his first heart attack, and Dad has never smoked).
