Who has a request or praise to share?
Psalm 18:1-6
1 I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
3 I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
4 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.
5 The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.
6 In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
I love reading a psalm and finding a praise chorus therein as God fills me with His song.

Becca’s sick. She came down around midnight and was running a fever. She ended up sleeping with me, which resulted in me not getting much sleep at all as she was snoring loudly. Except for her cough, she was well all summer. Can’t believe she’s going to miss the second day of school. Prayers, please, for a speedy recovery.
Also, as stated on Our Daily Thread, I’m having a hard time forgiving a “friend” of older daughter (L.). B. was mean to L. last year, but they seem to have worked things out. However, I can’t forget the pain she caused my daughter and have very negative feelings toward the kid. I don’t trust her. I realize I need to forgive her, but I’m not there yet. It’s usually pretty easy for me to forgive others, but when someone hurts my child, it’s challenging.

Annms, that’s why my Mom tells my siblings and I not to complain to her about our spouse. She said we’ll forgive them, she won’t. 🙂

Just got back from the doctor. Becca has ear infections in both ears. She should be able to return to school on Thursday. She’s still running a fever now, so I can’t technically send her back tomorrow.

Ann, isn’t the “24 hours after a fever” thing because the kid might be contagious, which isn’t an issue with an ear infection? It seems to me it’s N/A in this case–if she’s otherwise ready to go back, send her. I could be wrong.
