Who can we pray for today?
Psalm 34:1-8
1 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
It has been a difficult week for the team here. Some major decisions and some big discouragements have us all trying to maintain our composure and keep going.

I’m feeling a lot of stress from various situations here at home. Some of these internal pressures have been building up for a while, & as of this week, I feel my nerves are shot in one particular area.
Now I also have tendonitis in my right arm/shoulder. And Emily is scheduled to work a lot of hours (for her) this weekend through next week. AND I just found out that she can’t take Forrest on the 5K she & Chrissy are doing on Sunday, as strollers are not allowed, so we’ll be taking care of Forrest then, too.
Well, unless his father decides to take him, but I’ve learned not to rely on him at all.

It’s been difficult for quite a few of us these last few days. I’m sure thankful we have a God who loves us, and has provided our friends who pray for us.
Prayers for those above.
Please pray for my son who is still sick, and now has lost the one with whom he wanted to spend his life. He was doing a bit better this evening when we talked with him on the phone. He will be coming to visit us this weekend.

Glad to see your update tonight, Kare. I was thinking of you a little before getting on the computer just now, and am continuing to pray. I’ll add safe travels to those prayers. How far away is your son?
