Prayer Requests 4-8-13

Who can we pray for today?

Or share a praise or update if you prefer. 🙂

And today is my day to devote to praying for Cynthia as she continues her treatments for cancer. So if you’d like to join me in lifting her up to the Lord, please do. Thanks. 🙂

Psalm 113:1-4

1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.

2 Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore.

3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.

4 The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

  1. Good news, Michelle. Hope her luggage is found.

Prayers requested that no one else in my family comes down with this flu. It is an extremely mean virus. I haven’t felt this bad in over a decade. The body aches are killing me.

  2. Praise for a very good church service yesterday. It was a pleasure to have my big brother preaching on Contrasting Kings, Saul and David, and with 5 of his 6 kids there too. 🙂

  3. Cool…your brother has six arrows, too. 😉

I read about Saul and David today; my reading for the day was I Samuel 17-19.

Prayers for Cynthia, H, and AnnMS.

  4. I just recieved an update on Cynthia. Her blood count was too low to start the next round of chemo today. So she was given a shot to try and boost it, and they’ll try again Wednesday. If you have time, please remember Cynthia and her family today.

  5. Continued prayers, please, for wisdom & clear direction for Lee. He is possibly on the verge of buying a route! He was very disappointed when two other possibilities didn’t pan out (& he learned about them both not panning out on the same afternoon), & was very down about that, but now this new possibility has popped up. It’s gone as far as him putting in a bid, & the current owner responded positively to it, but a final decision hasn’t been made yet.

  6. This afternoon, since Lee got home from work, the man who currently owns the route-for-sale has been in touch with him. The man has accepted Lee’s bid, & they will meet on Wednesday for the final paperwork. Oh my. Lee says he has felt at peace with this decision, but it is a big step, so I’m a bit nervous. But I am happy for my husband.

  7. Second Arrow has bronchitis. She went home early from work yesterday, sick, and went to the doctor today. She can’t work or go to school Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (and maybe Thursday). Thanks for praying.
