What, or who, should we pray for today?
Psalm 54:1-2
1 Save me, O God, by your name;
vindicate me by your might.
2 Hear my prayer, O God;
listen to the words of my mouth.

If you have time, could you please pray for my wife. She woke up early this morning and is very sick. She actually called off sick, which she never does. She can’t keeping anything down, not even water. I went and got her some Nausene, but that only works if you can keep it down. Poor Cheryl can’t.
😦
Thanks,
Allen

Please pray for my former border Aaron Ramirez. He is traveling back to Ohio today.

Heavenly Father, Thank You for this gathering spot for Your children. Needs have been mentioned and we wait for Your answers to our concerns. Please help AJ’s wife Cheryl in her time of sickness. Please help her to not become dehydrated. May she be able to keep down fluids until this illness passes. I pray AJ will not get the illness so he is able to take care of Cheryl.
Lord, I pray for drivesguy’s request that his former boarder, Aaron Ramirez, would have safe travels today. May his vehicle pile on the miles without a hitch. Please let him find good places to make rest stops, good food for the trip and make he be blessed in a special way to meet up with Christians along his path so he feels Your presence in a tangible way along the route. I pray that if he should meet people along the way who need help that he will try to provide for their need while being diligent to stay out of the way of those who would hinder his safe travels. Thank You, Abba, for the many times You give traveling mercies and we take them for granted.
I lift up Kim’s family with all they are trying to resolve. And Karen O’s family, too, along with others. Please keep the young and confused family members from doing anything drastic. May they always seek wise counsel from caaring adults if they ever think of harming themselves.
Lord, I continue in prayer daily for the safety of Israel and peace in Jerusalem. Keep our land safe from terroristic plots during this holy season. I pray in the most blessed name of Jesus that Your will be done. Amen

The Lord has to find Janices prayers mere interesting than mine.
She prayed: “Lord, I pray for drivesguy’s request that his former boarder, Aaron Ramirez, would have safe travels today. May his vehicle pile on the miles without a hitch. Thank You, Abba, for the many times You give traveling mercies and we take them for granted.”
I just prayed that Aaron would have a safe and uneventful trip, as I pray before all of mine.

I told you once before that the late Dr. James McKeever once challenged us to pray for an hour each day. And that I could usually get only twenty minutes before I’d covered everything. That’s why.
But the Lord knows my heart. That counts for something.

Prayers for my work situation — morale is horrible, both in editorial & advertising. Things keep going from bad to worse.
Today they announced there would be no Christmas lunch provided as usual, so we’re doing a potluck.
Not a big deal, but I have to wonder … Exactly how broke ARE we? 😦
