What should we pray about today?
Psalm 19:1-6
1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
3 They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
5 It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
6 It rises at one end of the heavens
and makes its circuit to the other;
nothing is deprived of its warmth.
We found out yesterday that our niece is pregnant. This is great news but she has already lost three children (a single and a set of twins) to miscarriage. Also her one living child was very premature and almost didn’t make it out of the hospital.

KBells, I am sure you will understand when I say I don’t know which is worse, not being able to get pregnant or getting pregnant and miscarrying. Both make a woman feel like a failure. My prayers are with her.

So sorry, Mumsee. I’ll be praying. Is everything OK with your husband now after the trip to ER?

Six Arrows, he just drove off to town to pick up his meds. He is not in the same distress as last night but it is obvious he is still having problems. Thanks for praying.

Mumsee, praying for you, your son and your husband.
kBells, praying for your niece – this should be such and exciting time of planning and enjoying the thought of a baby, but instead it is a scary time for someone who has miscarried. Our friends who are in the same situation have now passed the 3 month mark, but she is still in and out of hospital with hyperemesis gravidarum (sp?). Still very sick and unable to keep anything down.

So sorry Mums. 😦 Praying, that’s got to be a hard loss especially finding out a few days after it’s happened?
