What should we pray for today?
Psalm 46:1-3
1 God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.
Wandering Views 
Hubby and six of them are off hunting and firewood gathering and camping for the next few days. Prayers for safety for them and wisdom in their actions and prayers for those of us holding down the fort, much appreciated.
Most of the children here have professed faith in Christ and most are growing in a way indicating He is working on them. One seems to be at the threshold so prayers for him especially, to see the wonders of God and his need for Him.

Heavenly Father, I praise You for Who You are, always on call 24/7 to hear the cries of the needy and the thankfulness of the grateful. Thank You that inbutnotof is feeling some better today. Thank You for yesterday’s blessing upon Mumsee’s family and thank You for seeing me through the writing of the article. Thank You for the opportunity You give for us to vote with a longer time frame so more people can make it to the polls. Thank You for the example of Chas and Elvira in showing younger people how to properly fulfill marriage commitments for the long term. Lord, there are so many good things going on in this world. Help us to take them all in and give You thanks.
I do pray for the one in Mumsee’s family that stands near the brink of belief in Jesus. Please put him in a situation of struggle where he can clearly see the benefit of belief in Jesus and Your plan for his life. May it be a stark contrast of seeing what happens to a believer when compared to what happens to those who fail to believe. Touch his heart with Your love, Abba, so that he will develop a love for all around him because You loved him first. May he recognize the loving atmosphere and even the discipline he receives in the Christian home is all because You love and care for him. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

We should remember to pray for Phos as she gets settled in. Might not have much time for that. And for her health as she adjusts to new and different bugs.

Yes, Mumsee. Phos does need to be covered in our prayers.
Heavenly Father, Your dear daughter, Phos (to us on the blog), has stepped out of her comfort zone to be at work where You are at work. You know her needs before we even mention a few of them. You know the specific blessings she needs to accomplish Your goals while she is in this greater opportunity for service. May our prayers be like keys to Your storerooms of blessings, opening each one as her needs arise. Please keep her immune system strong against any elements unknown before, help her digestive system to quickly overcome any discomfort from the new diet, and give her ingenuity as she gets herself situated in this very different environment. I pray her sweet smile will touch the hearts of all she meets and the smile will speak goodness and Your love in place of the words she does not know. Please make the hearts of the people within the range of the ministry open to receive Jesus. You are able, Father God, to bless in such ways and in even more ways than we think to ask. Just take good care of our friend and sister in Christ and all those with whom she works (Ajisuun & all). In Jesus’ name, Amen

Father God, You are bringing us some good news lately! Praise You for the great things You have done! Please let this be a special evening for the young ladies. Soften their hearts, make them tender to want the true love that comes only through Jesus. May their eyes be opened to the pain in this world and how to avoid much of it by following Jesus. I pray they will not have false expectations of Christianity and Christians. Help them to understand grace and mercy and how to give and receive it through the power of Jesus and the Holy Spirit working in and through them. I pray with Karen for that spiritual breakthrough for Chrissy. Let it come quickly, Lord. In the name of Jesus, Amen
