Prayer Requests 5-26-15

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 150

¹Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.

Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

  1. As usual, plenty to pray about here. Husband is going to drive himself down to Boise (those steroids are making him healthy before they kill him) for his three appointments tomorrow. Daughter, the nurse, will take him to his appts. Then he will either drive home or wait for us to get down their next week for the surgery.

Meantime, we would appreciate prayer for seventeen year old as he prepares to go off on a trip to Tibet for two weeks. They are organizing and making contacts for expanding the family of God. Should be an amazing experience for our one time gangsta wannabe! His passport arrived last week and now needs to be sent off for Visa paperwork. They head out in August and will be flying, driving, and hiking with a lot of the time at over 10,000 feet. Prayer for his heart preparation as well as the physical prep. Thanks.

  2. My daughter started her EMT job today; very excited. Thanks for all your prayers and if she crosses your mind–she’s working in a fairly dangerous part of LA. She said, “don’t worry, Mom. The first thing they teach us is if we don’t feel safe, we don’t have to get out of the rig.”

    Good to know.

Interesting writing opportunity possible–it keeps dying and rising again. I’ll tell you more when I know. 🙂

  3. It is interesting to me, how many of our EMT’s are believers. Kind of neat to have my fellow church members show up in an emergency. Calming. Praying and praising with you.
