It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.
Anyone else?
Psalm 121
A song of ascents.
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
Praying for the needs mentioned here recently.

Praising that grandpa has had a surge of strength and mental ability. He is able to get himself in and out of bed with minimal help and is planning a cruise with his children in February. He idly mentioned that he thought he could sit on a deck on a cruise ship to which I responded of course he could. He is running with the idea and working to get his strength back. Hawaii? Alaska? To be determined.

Or maybe . . . Mississippi Delta cruise?

That is wonderful, Mumsee. A vision for the future gives him hope and something to look forward to.
I think I will go pick up my microwave today. When I called about delivery of the stove and microwave yesterday, they told me that they would not install the microwave. So I figured I should get it there while the handyman is there and maybe even the contractor will have time to come by. Hopefully it comes with instructions.
Also they told me that it would be two weeks before they could deliver my stove. I need to be able to at least heat something in the microwave. I think that I better do some cooking here before I leave.
I called about getting my bed delivered and haven’t heard back yet. I may end up staying with my friends for a day or so. I do not plan on sleeping on the floor.

Prayer here: husband borrowed his sister’s car to bring their dad up here. He took it to town the other day to fill it with fuel. Took his truck yesterday to speech, the bank, Costco. Now her key is missing. One of those fancy multi hundred dollar replacement keys. We would prefer to find it than replace it.

Ouch, Mumsee. We had to replace one before. It hurts.

Key has been located, in the truck side pouch. Where everybody looked several times. But God’s timing….

Glad you found the expensive “key.”
I’d handed off my spare key set to neighbors when I left for my surgery, not sure if I’d wind up right back home the same day or not yet.
I thought sure I got them back when I did come home that same afternoon and drove myself crazy a couple months ago as I was looking for them.
I finally called the neighbors. They still had them, sitting on their fireplace mantel. They asked if I wanted them back.
I said, no, you keep them, they’re clearly safer with you.

I also kept thinking how expensive those new programmed car Keys, or whatever they’re call, must be to replace …

The little tag I keep on my key so I won’t lose it, says three hundred fifty to replace. They advise against losing it.
