Prayer Requests 9-3-22

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 46

A song.

God is our refuge and strength,
    an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
    and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam
    and the mountains quake with their surging.

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
    the holy place where the Most High dwells.
God is within her, she will not fall;
    God will help her at break of day.
Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall;
    he lifts his voice, the earth melts.

The Lord Almighty is with us;
    the God of Jacob is our fortress.

Come and see what the Lord has done,
    the desolations he has brought on the earth.
He makes wars cease
    to the ends of the earth.
   He breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
    he burns the shields with fire.
10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
    I will be exalted among the nations,
    I will be exalted in the earth.”

11 The Lord Almighty is with us;
    the God of Jacob is our fortress.

  1. From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, the name of the Lord shall be praised.
    Be still and know that I am God.

    Good words. Good life plan.

  2. Please pray that my recovery will quicken in its pace if possible so I will be strengthened to help Art in his surgrry time. He has been really good at helping me with the long drainage tube and bulb from the lymph node incision. He may have a similar type device from his incision on his back. Hmm . . . wondering what Miss Bosley will make of her humans growing tails from various parts of their bodies😀 Gotta keep the humor flowing along with the wound drainage! And Art really rates because he will have the cathater bag, too!

  3. Because of Covid exposure, I stayed home today and watched church online. Pastor Nathan was preaching on Jesus’ saying that He is the Bread of Life. Nightingale came through the living room briefly a couple times while I had the sermon playing, so I know she heard a little bit. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will take that little bit that she heard and prick her heart with it. Thank you.
