It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget to pray for The Gambia.
Anyone else?
Psalm 135
1 Praise the Lord.
Praise the name of the Lord;
praise him, you servants of the Lord,
2 you who minister in the house of the Lord,
in the courts of the house of our God.
3 Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good;
sing praise to his name, for that is pleasant.
4 For the Lord has chosen Jacob to be his own,
Israel to be his treasured possession.
5 I know that the Lord is great,
that our Lord is greater than all gods.
6 The Lord does whatever pleases him,
in the heavens and on the earth,
in the seas and all their depths.
7 He makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth;
he sends lightning with the rain
and brings out the wind from his storehouses.
8 He struck down the firstborn of Egypt,
the firstborn of people and animals.
9 He sent his signs and wonders into your midst, Egypt,
against Pharaoh and all his servants.
10 He struck down many nations
and killed mighty kings—
11 Sihon king of the Amorites,
Og king of Bashan,
and all the kings of Canaan—
12 and he gave their land as an inheritance,
an inheritance to his people Israel.
13 Your name, Lord, endures forever,
your renown, Lord, through all generations.
14 For the Lord will vindicate his people
and have compassion on his servants.
15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold,
made by human hands.
16 They have mouths, but cannot speak,
eyes, but cannot see.
17 They have ears, but cannot hear,
nor is there breath in their mouths.
18 Those who make them will be like them,
and so will all who trust in them.
19 All you Israelites, praise the Lord;
house of Aaron, praise the Lord;
20 house of Levi, praise the Lord;
you who fear him, praise the Lord.
21 Praise be to the Lord from Zion,
to him who dwells in Jerusalem.
Praise the Lord.
My initial surgeon’s consult is scheduled for July 8. Lots of wait time.

And lots of time to talk it over with the Father.
I remember waiting for surgery for over a month. Why couldn’t they just schedule for that day and have it all out already? That month of waiting and trusting my Heavenly Father was a sweet time of growth and deepening roots in relationship with Him. And for that I am praying for you as well Janice. Time well spent with Him as we go to Him with our requests, worries, anxieties, and unknowns to us…but known to Him. We love you sister ♥️

Waiting is hard to do. 😦
Hmmm, not sure why the cat thing. However, I know some atheists who have cats and they seem to have them in lieu of children.
We are getting a roundabout on a highway that has many semi-trucks on it. They have one already on an intersection with another highway with many semis. The drivers get used to it. I suspect we are getting a J-turn on another road we travel on regularly. I really dislike those.

Interesting Kathaleena. I have experienced a few J-turns, I just didn’t know they were called that.
Please pray for Mr. P and his sister. They have spoken several times this week. He flies out on Saturday and won’t be back until Wednesday night.

The video is there twice. 🙂
I like J-turns, I think we have versions of those here — or drivers just create them on their own.
Praying, Janice. that does seem like a long stretch to wait. But I like nancyjill’s take on that.
A friend had a stage 1 breast cancer several years ago and had the surgery done followed by radiation treatments, but no chemo needed.
She did find a support group online, probably through FB.

That’s a good sign, Janice, it means they’re not worried.

Along that line, an old friend, one who helped us do the add on and prepare for the children, was just diagnosed with brain cancer. He has surgery coming up July 5. That indicates concern on their part.

Once I get immersed in the whole shebang, I know Emory has great support for ladies going through this so I will probably have some form of group.

So sorry to hear that about your old friend, Mumsee. I pray he will do well.

so I went to my chiropractor today. He is very good. I told him all that has been happening and he got concerned. Then he did a balance and reflex exam. He told me he thinks that I have had a neurological incident. Makes sense when you look at all my symptoms. He did not even want me to do a lot of walking as my balance is so bad.
But he also knew who the best doctor in the area is and she goes to my church and I already go to that office. So I went right over to make an appointment.
Also am trying a different eye doctor as I could get in tomorrow
Found a new dentist.
Scheduled my mammogram and shingles vaccine.
Something each week.
My vision is blurry so I am glad to see someone soon.

Prayers for all that, Jo. Wondering if the long flight made things seem worse? Glad you already are an established patient with who was recommended. What a blessing!
May God bless you on the stopovers at each medical office and give clear diagnosis and remedies. In Jesus, Amen

How is VBS going, Mumsee?

A J-turn means you cannot go straight across a divided highway to travel in the lane on the far side. You have to turn right and then move over to the left lane; turn left and then left again–all to go left. It is supposed to stop T-bone crashes.

Janice, daughter tells me they had between thirty and forty children today. Started with around fifteen as it usually does. But word gets around.

I’ve missed quite a few prayer items over the past few days while the twins were visiting. Praying for the above and will go back and read the prayer threads that I missed.
