  1. Of course they did….

    https://townhall.com/tipsheet/saraharnold/2022/06/12/jim-jordan-blasts-jan-6-committee-investigators-altered-evidence-and-lied-n2608607

“The January 6 committee is facing pressure as details reveal it lied and altered evidence to favor Democrat’s radical narrative of the Capitol Hill protests.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) called out the committee for changing text messages between him and former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows during an interview on Fox News.

A spokesperson admitted that the messages Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA.) showed during the hearings had been adjusted to support the idea that Meadows wanted former Vice President Mike Pence to overturn the election results.

In a statement, the spokesperson confessed that “the Select Committee on Monday created and provided Representative Schiff a graphic to use during the business meeting quoting from a text message from ‘a lawmaker’ to Mr. Meadows. The graphic read, ‘On January 6, 2021, Vice President Mike Pence, as President of the Senate, should call out all electoral votes that he believes are unconstitutional as no electoral votes at all.’ In the graphic, the period at the end of that sentence was added inadvertently. The Select Committee is responsible for and regrets the error.”

Jordan fired back saying “this committee has altered evidence and lied to the American people about it, so much so that they had to issue a statement which says, ‘We regret the error,’ which is government speak for, ‘We got caught lying.’”

The “error” was that Schiff presented the message out of context by cutting out key words and ending it with a period.

According to the Federalist, the original text message was a summary of a legal briefing Jordan forwarded from lawyer Joseph Schmitz to Meadows the day before the Capitol protests, meaning that a “lawmaker” did not write the message at all. ”

“Jan. 6 Bombshell: Schumer team received FBI intel about possible violence, frontline cops didn’t

Capitol Police executive’s email tipoff to Schumer aide night before riot raises concerns in Congress that politics put over security.”

    https://justthenews.com/government/congress/politics-over-security-schumer-team-got-fbi-intel-about-jan-6-violence

“FBI intelligence warning that Jan. 6 protesters might violently storm the Capitol, target lawmakers and blockade Democrats in tunnels was never sent to frontline police commanders and officers, but was quietly emailed the night before to a top aide to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, according to documents that raise new concern that politics trumped security preparedness in the fateful hours before the riot.

Capitol Police Deputy Chief Sean Gallagher emailed top Schumer aide Kelly Fado, now the Senate’s deputy sergeant of arms, at about 9:40 p.m. on Jan. 5, 2021 saying he wanted to “provide you visibility” to new intelligence that an FBI threat analysis center had received from a website owner, according to documents obtained by Just the News.

The information explicitly warned that demonstrators had detailed maps of the tunnel systems around the Capitol frequented by lawmakers and their staffs and they were plotting to create a “perimeter” for potential violence and to find “Democratic members early to block them from entering the Capitol.” One point of entry the rioters were targeting was the Library of Congress, he warned.

“The owner of the website submitted an online tip to the FBI NTOC (National Threat Operations Center) stating that he has noticed a significant uptick in new visitors to his website,” Gallagher wrote. “We have identified numerous open-source comments indicating groups intentions of finding the tunnel entrances and confronting/blocking” members of Congress.

“Additionally,” he said, “we have seen a huge uptick with reporting via open source of the groups intentions of forming a perimeter around the campus (indicated in image #5 above) from 0600-1000 hours in order to block all MOC’s from getting inside our perimeter to the Buildings with spots identified for direct action.”

  5. Let’s hope so. 🙂

And then the Summer of Rage democrats are promising can officially begin.

“Roe v. Wade decision on the horizon, activists march in Greenfield”

    https://www.cbs58.com/news/roe-v-wade-decision-on-the-horizon-activists-march-in-greenfield

“The Supreme Court could be poised to overturn Roe v. Wade as soon as Monday, June 13.

According to CNN, the high court updated its calendar Thursday, June 9 to indicate decisions would be handed down Monday and Wednesday of the coming week.

Justices have 29 opinions remaining to be delivered in the next month before its traditional summer break.

A leaked draft opinion indicates that five justices were ready to wipe away the 50-year-old precedent set by Roe v. Wade.

If overturned, Wisconsin will be left with an 1849 statute still on the books that could outlaw abortion statewide, and make performing an abortion a felony.

In Wisconsin, legislators could repeal or amend the law. If major changes are made, demonstrations are expected nationwide. Those demonstrations are already happening in the Milwaukee area.”

  7. Idiots.

“The Stupid Party Surrenders Again, This Time on Guns

Ten GOP senators sell their souls to Chuck Schumer and think they’ve made a patriotic deal.”

    https://spectator.org/the-stupid-party-surrenders-again-this-time-on-guns/

“The names of the 10 Republican senators who jumped in bed with Chuck Schumer and Chris Murphy to forge a stupid deal on guns Sunday won’t surprise you.

It’s the usual roster of the Washington Generals, the political version. You know, the basketball team which finds a way to lose to the Harlem Globetrotters every time?

Those guys. Their names are John Cornyn of Texas, Thom Tillis and Richard Burr of North Carolina, Roy Blunt of Missouri, Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, Susan Collins of Maine, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Rob Portman of Ohio, Mitt Romney of Utah and Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania. Burr, Blunt, Portman and Toomey are all leaving the Senate and will likely be replaced with far better conservatives, people with blood and sand. Romney and Cassidy come up for reelection in 2024 and will almost certainly be shown the electoral gate by Republican voters. Cornyn and Tillis seem destined to underwhelm their voters until they die in political office. As will Graham. And Collins? Well, she’s essentially a welfare Republican; we’re to believe that Maine can’t do better than a GOP senator who’d rather be a Democrat as often as not.

It’s not that the deal is the worst thing this crew could have agreed to. They could have done more damage to the Second Amendment — and quite possibly the First — and we should by no means discount the possibility that they will before it’s all said and done.

But — and we’ll talk about this in a minute — what is the point of making any deals at all on guns?

The Senate compromise is a pale imitation of the radical gun control bills passed in the House that included safe storage mandates, federal “red flag” confiscation, and a ban on semi-automatic gun sales to adults under 21 years old. From the AP . . .

The proposal falls far short of tougher steps long sought by President Joe Biden and many Democrats. Even so, if the accord leads to the enactment of legislation, it would signal a turnabout from years of gun massacres that have yielded little but stalemate in Congress.

Leaders hope to push any agreement into law quickly — they hope this month — before the political momentum fades that has been stirred by the recent mass shootings in Buffalo, New York, and Uvalde, Texas.

There are two major policy problems with this, plus a structural one.

The structural one is that nothing in here should be the federal government’s responsibility. The feds will now be bribing states to pass the most restrictive red flag laws imaginable, something which is an abuse of federalism which has never worked properly in the past, and all of these other items — the background checks, further restrictions on gun dealers, mental health stuff and so on — is all the proper province of state governments. Republicans working with Democrats to let the federal government restrain trade in legal merchandise, even if it’s something icky like a rifle, is a monumentally bad precedent.

Then you have the policy problems.

First, now we’re going to restrict the Second Amendment rights of supposed adults 18-21 years old. We sure won’t restrict their right to vote, though — when it comes to understanding how the country should be run an 18-year-old is the most grown-up person on earth but in every other respect we can treat them like kids. Can’t drink, can’t smoke, can’t buy a gun without now jumping through extra hoops (hoops which the courts have already been quite unfriendly toward), but when it comes to serving as drones for the political elite when going into that voting booth and doing what the teachers and college professors say, or going off to war, by God they can do as they’re told like everyone else.

It’s so nakedly cynical, it’s not even funny.

You run into the same problem with this that you always do. You’ll make the law-abiding 19-year-olds suffer when the crooked kids won’t be dissuaded from having a gun in the least little bit. The kids killing each other by the dozen in Chicago aren’t even 18, for crying out loud.

And the second problem is that we’ll now have the federal government, run by the most anti-American, totalitarian, thuggish people this country has ever known, take over the management of our mental health system.

Not that we even have much of one anymore, mind you. The truly insane have been deinstitutionalized for decades and our culture has suffered badly because of that fact, but who wanted that in the first place? The left. They created this monster, and now we’re going to write gun laws the criminally insane won’t abide by and set up a camel’s-nose-under-the-tent for the feds to politicize mental health diagnoses like they’ve been spoiling to do since before Obamacare.

Everything the Nazis, Soviets, and Cultural Revolution Maoists did in the last century is what today’s Democrat Party pleasures itself thinking about doing to ordinary Americans. And you want to give the federal government they’ve captured more power to disrupt your life?

    Stupid.”

    “Weimar West”

    https://www.theamericanconservative.com/dreher/pride-weimar-west/

“This is the elite governing class of the West, scampering behind a tranny hooker, or pro-hooker tranny. The male-to-female topless transsexual twerker is carrying a sign advertising “SEX WORK”; on the other side was the name of St. Mary Magdalene, meaning that this creep is also a blasphemer. Shows you where this stuff comes from, does it not? Over the weekend at Vienna Pride, there was a contingent of “Diplomats For Pride” marching in the parade. I swear, it’s like the Weimar Republic, without the good art and music. You’re not supposed to notice this decadence, unless it is to praise it.

This kind of thing was always part of Pride parades. I remember seeing footage of Pride parades in Washington DC in the early 1990s. I believe it was Pat Robertson’s CBN that recorded footage of the parade and aired parts of it. They were condemned as bigots at the time, simply for broadcasting what actually happened at DC Pride. What has changed is that this kind of thing — the kink — has been embraced and celebrated by the globalist ruling class.

Something big is happening to us. Something very big.

A reader writes that Pride month is celebrated with all the fervor of the high holy days precisely because it has been so effectively commercialized and fits extremely nicely into the Western model of creating a completely atomized society where everyone exists alone and without any support. Those who play by the rules get customized soma products, whereas those who do not end like Winston Smith. This is being heavily driven by commercial forces that discovered in the 1990s that gays and their activist allies are the easiest consumers who will buy anything with the Pride label. Now that accusations of homophobia will silence the overwhelming majority of middle and upper class normies, there is no reason not to pursue this strategy.

Meanwhile, another terrible disease rages, but AVOIDING HATE is the most important thing, according to the Washington Post:”

“Monkeypox had arrived in Salt Lake County, with two men testing positive after returning from Europe, the epicenter of a global outbreak concentrated in gay and bisexual men.

Officials there faced a dilemma. They wanted to warn men who have sex with men that they were at higher risk for exposure to the virus. But they feared unintended consequences: heterosexual people assuming they’re not susceptible, closeted men in a heavily Mormon community avoiding care so they’re not seen as gay, and critics exploiting the infections to sow bigotry.

It’s not just Utah officials who are struggling to find the right message. As the United States confronts its largest-ever monkeypox outbreak, with nearly 50 probable cases, public health authorities navigate a delicate but familiar balancing act. In the 17 U.S. cases in which the sexual behavior of the patient is known, all but one involve men who have sex with men, mirroring trends in Europe. It’s something never recognized before in outbreaks of the virus.
In Salt Lake County, health officials consulted with advocacy groups and decided to get the message out to gay and bisexual men without making the message about them. At a booth during the Utah Pride Festival in Salt Lake City this month, Health Department staff distributed business-card-sized monkeypox warnings urging people to avoid close or sexual contact with anyone experiencing a rash or flu-like symptoms. The warning didn’t say anything about the gay community.
“We don’t need to put rainbows all over and make clear it’s only for [men who have sex with men] because it’s not,” said Nicholas Rupp, who oversees public outreach for the Salt Lake County Health Department. “The virus, of course, doesn’t see sexual orientation.”

Yeah, right, Nicholas Rupp. It’s weird, though, how the virus is different in the West, versus Africa — just like AIDS.

I’m old enough to remember when AIDS debuted in the West. We were all told that anybody could get it. Anybody! In fact, my journalism career started with an editorial in the campus newspaper — an editorial that won a national college journalism award — about how all of us were vulnerable to AIDS. Not long ago a straight friend a bit younger than me told me, laughing, about how back in the day, he had unprotected heterosexual sex, and scared that he might have been exposed to HIV, went for a test. He said the health workers laughed at him in a friendly way, and told him that the odds of catching HIV from conventional (e.g., non-anal) heterosexual sex were tiny. The health warnings were all propaganda to keep people from hating promiscuous gay men.

Lies, lies, lies. Our ruling class demands that we all deny the evidence of our eyes. “

“Left’s political violence tied to dangerous Democrat rhetoric

Top Democrats including Biden, Schumer and Pelosi have all encouraged violent leftists”

    https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/left-political-violence-dangerous-democrat-rhetoric

“This week, a man from California was arrested outside Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home and charged with attempted murder. He had a gun, a knife, pepper spray, and tools to break into the home — he freely admitted that he was there to kill Kavanaugh. Thanks to brave police officers, the threat was taken care of. But the situation never should have happened in the first place. Unfortunately, this attempted assassination can be traced directly to a longstanding pattern of violent rhetoric from Democrat officials.

Think back to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s incendiary comments about the Supreme Court in 2020. Speaking to a crowd of enraged activists, Schumer poured gasoline on the fire, shouting that Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh would “pay the price” for refusing to rule the way liberals wanted. “You won’t know what hit you,” Schumer raged, in a stunning example of a high-ranking political leader openly threatening members of another branch of government. Similarly, Speaker Nancy Pelosi praised left-wing activists for channeling “their righteous anger into meaningful action.” Joe Biden condoned this rhetoric by refusing to condemn it, illustrating that he’s comfortable with calls to violence from his party’s leadership.

This week, a deranged left-winger came dangerously close to following Schumer’s orders. And it comes in the wake of House Democrats refusing to pass legislation to expand security protection for Supreme Court justices and their families. They know that violence may continue to occur, but don’t want to take tangible steps to stop it. Why? Elected Democrats may not be committing violence themselves, but they are creating an environment that makes it likely to occur.

This is a widespread pattern. Just a few weeks ago, when asked if he condoned protests at the homes of justices, Schumer answered “yes.” When asked a similar question, former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki refused to condemn the threatening protests, saying “I know that there’s an outrage right now.” She was speaking for Joe Biden and refusing to defuse an obviously dangerous situation. Pelosi also dodged the question and refused to condemn the protests – but then again, this is the same person who suggested there should be “uprisings all over the country” in 2018 because she disagreed with President Donald Trump’s immigration policy.

It’s stunning to write this, but let’s be very clear: showing up at someone’s private residence to harass and intimidate them into carrying out your political agenda is unacceptable. Violent rioting is unacceptable. Political violence is unacceptable.

Democrats’ comfort with violent rhetoric and conduct should disappoint you, but it shouldn’t surprise you. Think back further. Remember in 2019 when Rep. Maxine Waters instructed a crowd of angry activists to harass members of the Trump administration if they saw them in person? How about when a crowd of protestors attacked Senator Rand Paul and his wife as he walked the streets of Washington, DC in 2020? Or in 2017, when a Bernie Sanders devotee shot and almost killed Rep. Steve Scalise – along with four others – having been driven to commit unspeakable violence by angry, divisive far-left propaganda?

Every American remembers the devastating riots that took place in the spring and summer of 2020. However, Democrats would like you to forget the role they played in stoking the fires of resentment that led to billions in damage and dozens of deaths. Then-candidate Kamala Harris said that the riots “are not gonna stop…and they should not,” shortly before promoting a bail fund for violent rioters.

We all know that there’s a reason we don’t hear much about the left’s pattern of violence: their allies in the mainstream media carry water for them. Who could forget the infamous shot from CNN in which a reporter stood in front of a burning city with a headline describing riots as “fiery, but mostly peaceful?” Just imagine the media coverage if a gunman had shown up at a liberal justice’s house instead of Justice Kavanaugh.”

How does a red flag law, a raised age limit, etc an assault on the 2nd amendment. Many states already have these rules. Ironically, a 21 year old age minimum is more in tune with the founders as the vote was originally 21. The supposed correlation between gun laws and tyranny is a ludicrous meme. If you look at the top gun owning countries they have nothing politically in common – from Yemen to the US to Sweden. These countries either have hunting as a long standing tradition or are recovering from civil war. I’m not sure gun control will stop the mass shootings in the US but its better than thoughts and prayers or counting doors.

Pride Parades used to be about affirming ones self in the face of persecution. These days they are sponsored by major corporations. If you find the parades full of decadence, blame capitalism – decadence, sexuality, etc has been commoditified and sold to the highest bidder. Those of you who support free market capitalism should not be critical or surprised. Capitalism has no moral values just greed. My neo-fascist German friend has frequently drawn the parallels between Weimar and Pride. My rebuttal to him is: “freedom”. We can accept the market as the moral decision maker or we can encourage left wing tolerance or we can encourage right wing cultural nationalism i.e neo fascism. Since I’m neither a capitalist nor a fascist, I tolerate it all.

To connect the pro choice politicians and the pro choice demos in front of homes to acts of criminal destruction and terrorism is similar to connecting pro-life politicians and supporters to the shooting of abortion doctors. Both are stretch; we all have lines we draw in the sand in terms of our political support and activism. And we can’t be held responsible for the extremists we don’t support.

Of course, I’m continually amused at the Supreme Courts justices being annoyed by demonstrations they had themselves ruled to be protected free speech in another context.

In facrt, a sherrif’s deputy running around pretending to shoot people inlcuding your teacher is probably more harmful than a topless lesbian/trans person.

The chances they ever have that happen in their school is low, of course. So is the chance of them having a fire. They have fire drills too. We had atomic bomb drills in my day.
