Prayer Requests 2-7-22

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 16

Keep me safe, my God,
    for in you I take refuge.

I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
    apart from you I have no good thing.”
I say of the holy people who are in the land,
    “They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.”
Those who run after other gods will suffer more and more.
    I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods
    or take up their names on my lips.

Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup;
    you make my lot secure.
The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
    surely I have a delightful inheritance.
I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;
    even at night my heart instructs me.
I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
    With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
    my body also will rest secure,
10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,
    nor will you let your faithful one see decay.
11 You make known to me the path of life;
    you will fill me with joy in your presence,
    with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

  1. Thanks, Mumsee. He said he’d stay home from work about two days. Since it started almost a week ago, it seems from what I saw on the Internet that five days is the isolation period for Omicron. If that is the case then he should be okay to be out. He is scheduled to be with Art on Sat. I suppose Art will have to decide on that.
    You can’t imagine the delight he is having in calling soneone at the other office a “Spreader.”

  2. Here’s my response again, Janice: Janice–at my husband’s company, you have to get a negative antigen test after five days of quartine. It has to be an ANTIGEN test. If you don’t get a negative, you have to sit out of work for ten days.

    FYI.

  3. I really Can’t tell my brother what to do. He pays no attention to me. Best scenario is in one ear and out the other. Worst is an argument. He hears what he wants to hear and disregards what does not go along with his choices. I can tell Art, so Art can make wise choices as the employer.

  4. I suspect much of this is now in flux as we seem to be getting ready to at least “try” to go back to “normal.” Whether that works or not, time will tell.

  5. Kizzie, I don’t think so. I wondered if they thought it was a false negative test or choose to assume that until the more accurate test comes in. Also, it is a small clinic, probably not associated with the big monopoly facilities in this area.

    And I don’t know if the rules are the same everywhere, from state to state. I do know he is careful to wear a mask even when others in his office don’t choose to wear them.

    Art masks according to client preferences. My current church requires masks, and the newer church seemed to have fewer masked than unmasked when I visited that once in the afternoon.
