Prayer Requests 1-4-22

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 137

By the rivers of Babylon we sat and wept
    when we remembered Zion.
There on the poplars
    we hung our harps,
for there our captors asked us for songs,
    our tormentors demanded songs of joy;
they said, “Sing us one of the songs of Zion!”

How can we sing the songs of the Lord
    while in a foreign land?
If I forget you, Jerusalem,
may my right hand forget its skill.
May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth
if I do not remember you,
if I do not consider Jerusalem
    my highest joy.

Remember, Lord, what the Edomites did
    on the day Jerusalem fell.
   “Tear it down,” they cried,
“tear it down to its foundations!”
Daughter Babylon, doomed to destruction,
happy is the one who repays you
according to what you have done to us.
Happy is the one who seizes your infants
and dashes them against the rocks.

  1. Please pray for me as I fly back home to Texas tomorrow, and for safe travels and good connections as I share at various churches and with individuals. Thanks!

  2. Sunday I spoke with my sweet friend/neighbor who has dementia. And I spoke with her husband. They said they were well and I explained to them that I was too but daughter had a positive covid test the day after Christmas so I was hanging low for another week. She was wanting to get together soon as we had not seen one another since the second of Dec. I just learned tonight that my sweet friend is in the hospital with Covid and her husband is showing symptoms. He says it will be a miracle if she survives this..and he has myasthenia gravis which almost ended his life a few years ago. That happened so fast! If you feel so led please ask our Lord for calm and the knowing that He is watching over them still. Even so Thy will be done….
