She was suited up in a plastic yellow disposable gown, teal gloves, and two masks underneath a recirculating personal respiratory system that buzzed so loudly she could barely hear. The nurse told me that she had gotten both vaccines but she was feeling worried: “Two thirds of my patients are fully vaccinated,” she said.”
In our area they have shut down an entire school district due to cases of Covid hitting students. Then I hear of a sharp rise in cases in children. Is this a push to have all children eligible for vaccinations? Last year the virus was not an issue with children…this year “they” say it is off the charts.
There is a doctor making the claim that if a child has the sniffles due to cold or allergies it is being classified as “covid”. Are they getting money for that diagnosis?

We continue to see many serious covid cases, both vaccinated and non-vaccinated. The mentality has changed though. If people think they are positive, they no longer stay home or wear their masks. They are out and about spreading their germs to everyone.
I was told by someone close to me who works in a local school that all the kids are telling one another to “not tell” if they are feeling sick. They want to be in school and not online. And they do not have to wear masks at the school this year…yet. 😳

I’ve personally known a few people who have, indeed, been vaccinated and later tested positive after realizing they’d been exposed. They self-quarantined in their homes, none became seriously ill.

I have a friend from high school who just got the moderna booster. But he and his wife both had the Pfizer shots first. How can those two be mixed? It just doesn’t make sense to me. In 8 months if they still think we need a booster I will get it…but I’m thinking only if it is Pfizer….

About that “de-worming medicine”… it is used by millions of people around the world, and has been for decades. Re. Covid-19, there have been over 60 trials globally. There are many countries (inc. India, Mexico, Italy) that have protocols that include Ivermectin, and they have had more success than American hospitals.
Ivermectin is a completely viable medical option. So are hydroxychloroquine and monoclonal antibodies. It should not require a court order to force doctors to do their jobs. All these doctors who have compromised their principles to side with Big Pharma should be ashamed of themselves, and hopefully they will be held accountable.

As some of you know, we had in our house what was apparently a case of breakthrough coronavirus—starting with our smallest Moore (who’s too young to get vaccinated yet) and moving through the rest of us. For the kids and Maria, the case was very mild, and for me it was much more like a really bad flu. Agreed, dj. It should be entirely up to the business. I don’t necessarily think it’s a terrible idea to *recommend* them, but mandates require strong evidence, which does not exist for face masks.
I personally doubt cloth masks have a large effect. Properly fitted *medical grade* masks likely do, but still need better data. But standard masks used in operating theatres to prevent large blood droplets from splashing is very different to an airborne virus scenario. Hospital settings very very different then the community. No comparison.

It was stressing my non believing brothers and dad to the point I figured it was my duty as a believer to do what could well kill me but just the body. However, I think now I have an acceptable excuse for them.
And the vaccines aren’t just about us, they’re about the overall potential to spread the virus to those who may not be able to do so well with the illness.

Responses here, btw, would be much more effective without the personal attacks and ridicule of those who disagree. Issues are what we should be discussing and personal put-downs, especially among “friends” (??), don’t advance the conversation, but rather cut it off.
Consider it a request.
