  1. Good morning AJ, et. al.
I just stopped by. Went in to get some socks, and something just said to me, “Log on and see what’s happening.” So far it’s just me.
    So!
    Up and at em.

  2. Good morning! I admit to sleeping late. Art worked overnight so I got to sleep a bit longer, but . . . my brother called . . . it’s always something!😀

  3. Lots of things in this world that I don’t understand.
I was sitting in the front room pondering things.
Not my “Quiet time”. I’ve finished that.
    Just pondering.
    and it occurred to me:
Billions of people in this world.
Yet? God gives each one individual attention.
That is: When I pray, I am the only person on earth that God is hearing.
That goes on a million times at once.
No? I don’t know how, but I know it’s so.

  4. Good Morning Wanderers. It’s been a week! Mr P is up and walking with a cane until he gets steadier on his feet.
I still have done the taxes.
I am showing a condo at the beach this afternoon.
Little Miss returns to us next Tuesday after 2 weeks of a hodge pudge of baby sitters and too much time with her daddy who won’t say no to her. I’m going to have to put him in a time out.
I live how much she loved her mommy and daddy.
Chloe spent Mother’s Day with me then went to work. She is taking a job this summer cleaning condos at the beach. If she works a certain number of Saturday’s she will get a $3000 bonus. We are still trying to figure out what she is going to be when she grows up. Her own father didn’t figure that out until he was 31 and married to me.

  5. Good morning. Grandchildren head out today. They will be taking daughter with them. We still have a few hours left to enjoy whatever.

  6. I’m up early to take Cowboy in for his back and leg treatment — R, shirley’s husband, just called he’s already waiting out in the driveway for Cowboy duty, I wasn’t going to remind him but instead was going to try handling it myself this morning. But he remembered and is ready to go — 30 minutes early. Cowboy’s still asleep.

I was bitten up by a mosquito last night, it’s that time of year. And since the back sliding door stays open now for Cowboy’s comings and goings (doggie door is too much of a strain for him), insects have free access. I slathered all my bites with Benadryl cream.

I’m looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow, that’s for sure.

  7. Happy birthday, AJ. I am not sure about May birthdays being the best. I would give it one out of twelves odds of being the best, however.

  8. Happy birthday, AJ! My family has seven children, and today–almost halfway through the year–marks the earliest birthday (my dad had an April birthday and my mom one earlier in May, but the first of the offspring is mid-May).

I think June birthdays are the very best, though.

  10. I echo Janice’s comments about keeping this group of wanderers together. It just dawned on me a couple of weeks ago, that it appears that every one of the wanderers is a Christian. He/She couldn’t deal with some of the dialogue otherwise.
I get a bit of personal satisfaction chatting with you on this blog.

  11. Another gloriously beautiful day today. Almost don’t want to come back inside. Finished up one of my books while lying on a grassy slope in the backyard. Finally got my second vaccine appointment booked.

  12. I am back, for what it is worth!😀

I have been on the prayer call this afternoon with two other ladies. We had lots to pray about.

A lady in my online study group has a prayer shawl ministry. She is suppose to give me details so I can bring it to a team group leader to consider for our church. We will soon start up a new ministry to the community that will help marriages and families which are struggling. Has anyone heard of Communio? That is the program which can be geared to different denominational needs. Some of the people engaged with might be blessed with a prayer shawl.

  13. Sleeping in on a Saturday is so nice. We have a community library here. Today i join a friend to learn what to do as one of the workers keeping it open. It is in a sorta basement. I would like to see it moved to another spot. Oh, well….

  14. I just got an email from our county library saying next week’s program will be Stacey Abrams in conversation with another lady. Don’t think I will attend that one. It might wake me up too much.

  15. Just got back from a long walk that turned out to be longer than I expected. I was supposed to be meeting another woman to walk, and I had something for her and she had something for me. She ended up not walking since she was dealing with allergies. I knew she lived fairly near the trail, so I decided to take a side trip to her house, which was farther off the trail than I thought. So I walked six or seven miles and was fairly tired by the time I finished. And that doesn’t count all the little side trips off the trail to photograph something else.

But I got my first dragonfly photos of the season and I also got a sweet shot of an adult rabbit and a baby bunny, both hanging out on someone’s lawn. It gave a good perspective shot for just how small rabbits are when they leave the nest.

  16. We took a long walk/short hike this afternoon. Beautiful weather. Rain expected for the weekend, though.

2 weeks and counting. I’ll miss the energy of high school students, but not the drama and immaturity.

  17. Thank you all for the well wishes.

I had a nice relaxing birthday.

Went to take some pics, visited with one of my sisters, ordered food out, took a nap, and watched a ball game.

    🙂

Tomorrow we drive to pick up Isaac, visit the lake near him, have lunch, and visit an indoor flea market. Should be fun. 🙂

Glad to hear that you took some time to celebrate.
