“If we are to accept the Left’s narrative, we are to believe that on January 6, Trump held a coup in D.C. disguised as a rally, at which he instructed an angry mob of conspiracy theorists to storm the U.S. Capitol and stage an insurrection to overthrow the legislative branch and keep him in power.
In reality, most of the tens of thousands of supporters who showed up to the rally from around the country did not storm the Capitol; nor did they have any intention of doing so. They were there to show their support for Trump and protest what they believed to be a fraudulent election that silenced their voices. Trump told his supporters to “peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard,” and he was still speaking at the time the rioters began storming the Capitol. He continued speaking for another 19 minutes after the Capitol was breached.
If we are to accept the Left’s narrative, we are to believe that all Trump supporters who attended his speech in D.C. on January 6, as well as those who voted for him, not only are directly responsible for what happened at the Capitol building but also are white supremacists.
In reality, Trump made the Republican Party more diverse than it’s been in 60 years. He received the highest share of nonwhite voters for any Republican presidential candidate since 1960. There has never been any serious threats of violence at any previous Trump rallies. The rally-goers in D.C. were from all walks of life, including Jews, Christians, blacks, whites, Asians, Hispanics, and people from overseas.
If we are to accept the Left’s narrative, we are to believe that every single one of Trump’s policies over the last four years, both domestically and abroad, was a complete and utter failure and must be immediately reversed by the new Biden administration.
In reality, Trump cut taxes, reduced regulations, rebuilt our military, increased national defense spending, and delivered criminal justice reform. He eliminated the ISIS caliphate, renegotiated unfair trade agreements, stood up to China, and restored our critical supply chains so we will never have to rely on foreign countries for essential medical supplies again.
If we are to accept the Left’s narrative, we are to believe that Trump’s decision to move the Israeli embassy to Jerusalem would lead to the Third Intifada.
In reality, moving the Israeli Embassy to Jerusalem did not result in another war, but it did pave the way for Trump to negotiate peace treaties in the Middle East, and allowed Arab countries including UAE, Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco to begin normalizing relations with Israel.
If we are to accept the Left’s narrative, we are to believe that Trump’s building of the wall along our southern border is racist, immoral, and ineffective.
In reality, walls do work, and there is nothing inherently racist or immoral about securing the border and preventing drugs from pouring into our country. Under Trump, 450 miles of wall were completed, apprehensions for illegal immigration dropped by as much as 70 percent between May and August of last year, and U.S. law enforcement seized over 100,000 pounds of cocaine in 2020 alone.”
Where was all that violence we heard would happen yesterday?
Where were the right wing militias and throngs of angry righties storming the capital?
They wasted millions on their theater of the absurd. It was all lies as usual, none of it happened, and no press calls them on it. What a freakin’ joke this country has become.

This was a pretty good summary of the Clinton, Bush, Obama and Trump years. But no more. The Democrats have taken control of the presidency and both houses of Congress. But based on the evidence of the past week, that hasn’t made them any less crazy.
First, there was the unleashing of the Big Tech titans against the Twitter alternative Parler. For years, people who complained about ideological bias at Facebook and Twitter were told to just build their own platforms. But when an alternative emerged in the form of Parler, the giants conspired to suffocate it. Amazon kicked Parler off its hosting platform, while Apple and Google banned the app from their stores. Parler may not survive the one-two blow.
Parler’s crime? Some people who organized the Capitol Hill riot used its services.
It might seem crazy to set a precedent that social-media companies — who have long claimed no responsibility for what people do on their platforms — are responsible for things said by a small number of their users. But that’s Big Tech’s position, made all the more galling by the fact that the latest reporting suggests Facebook users played an enormous role in organizing the event.
In the event, Parler went from the No. 1 app to life support in a matter of days.
Facebook also took down all sorts of pages, including one for the “WalkAway” campaign, designed to encourage minority voters to switch to the Republican Party, with more than 500,000 followers. And Twitter, of course, banned President Trump, a move that drew criticism even from German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who has never been a Trump fan. And former Rep. Ron Paul’s page was locked after he published a column critical of Facebook. (Facebook later called that move a “mistake.”)
Even five years ago, this sort of thing would have seemed insane. But here we are.
Then Democrats voted to impeach President Trump. Again. When they last impeached him almost exactly a year ago — just in time to distract the White House, Congress and the nation from the looming coronavirus pandemic — the grounds were, to say the least, thin. It was notable that Democrats didn’t even bring up impeachment at their convention, and it stayed below the radar during the presidential campaign. After allegedly being a matter of earthshattering importance, it was like it never happened.
But now they have impeached Trump — a week before he was scheduled to leave office anyway. And this time, the claim was even thinner: that a speech in which Trump called for peaceful protests was somehow “incitement” of events on Capitol Hill and elsewhere, some of which apparently took place before the speech was delivered.
When Democrats spent a year promoting and excusing violent riots against the police, we were told that it was “mostly peaceful” protest, even when police stations and state capitols were seized, and when rioters tried to burn down federal courthouses. When Trump called for peaceful protest, we’re told he was advocating violence. Byron York calls this “the crazy impeachment,” and he’s right.
It seems that the public agrees that both of these big Democratic initiatives are, well, crazy. In a McLaughlin poll of battleground state voters, 60 percent said impeachment was a waste of time. Seventy-seven percent said Congress should work on the coronavirus response instead. Seventy-four percent said impeachment is “politically motivated to prevent the president from running again.” And 65 percent said that President-elect Joe Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi are “keeping the country divided.”
Meanwhile, 70 percent thought that the Big Tech companies have gotten too powerful and need to be cut down to size, and 74 percent thought that if Silicon Valley billionaires could take away Trump’s free speech, “they can take away the right to free speech for any American.”
At least the voters haven’t gone as crazy as the people they elected.”

On its face, a capital city packed with a military presence — an occupation hailed by the media, as the swamp protects itself — may seem like a show of force, a reiteration of law and order above all else. In this moment of crisis, we have what appears to be the most elderly class of political elites in the history of the nation. The octogenarian and septuagenarian set of Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, Jim Clyburn, Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnell, Dick Durbin are white knuckling it to the end of their careers — attempting to make their mark before leaving the stage and passing things on to people who share none of their memories of the time before.
This brittle leadership class in our politics inhabits the same America as a much younger leadership class of corporatist tech oligarch, unmoored from any deep understanding of what made the nation the envy of the world. They believe they have inherited the godhead of the universe, with the ability and the duty to reshape the globe as they see fit. Where the aged elected officials dither, they have the ability to act to make the world a better place. They have, and they will. And they will do it by controlling to the greatest degree possible what people see, what they know, how they think, and ultimately, how they vote.
One class is frail, old, and out of touch in a rapidly changing world. The other is out of touch, too — lacking any of the humility necessary for leadership — but is absolutely convinced of its abiding power and wisdom. After all, if you can come up with so many products consumers want, wouldn’t it stand to reason they will also enjoy your total control over their lives?
The crumbling facade of America’s elites has been a bipartisan problem for two decades. Four years ago, Donald Trump thrived on being the only politician to say this explicitly, even to the extent of his inauguration speech and much to the disgust of the ruling class. But the reaction to this pandemic has only degraded trust in this class further. It is unlikely to reverse course upon the ascendancy of its first Silent Generation president, particularly when his policies will serve to reinforce the belief that our political leadership is not an advocate for the people, but a puppet on the strings of those who run the country.”
“NY Times: We May Be Underselling The Effectiveness Of Our Vaccines”
“Earlier today I wrote about China’s attempts to badmouth U.S. vaccines in response to one of their own vaccines failing to perform as they had hoped. But Monday the NY Times’ David Leonhardt argued that, even setting China’s propaganda aside, we may be underselling just how effective these vaccines are.
He starts by recalling the advice that was given early last year about wearing masks. You probably remember there was a time nearly a year ago when the official guidance from the WHO and others, often repeated by the media, was that masks were unnecessary and didn’t help. There was a reason for that advice at the time. There was concern that panic buying of masks would lead to the same result we saw with toilet paper, i.e. not enough to go around. And that would have created a problem because people in the medical field needed those masks.
But that well-intention message backfired. People could tell they weren’t being told the whole truth and the eventual reversal of course by public health experts made it look like they didn’t know what they were talking about. That’s not a good way to build confidence that the same people can be trusted with your health. Now we may be doing the same thing again, only this time with regard to vaccines.
Right now, public discussion of the vaccines is full of warnings about their limitations: They’re not 100 percent effective. Even vaccinated people may be able to spread the virus. And people shouldn’t change their behavior once they get their shots.
These warnings have a basis in truth, just as it’s true that masks are imperfect. But the sum total of the warnings is misleading, as I heard from multiple doctors and epidemiologists last week.
Despite the various concerns about potential problems with the vaccines, including the worry that they won’t be effective on some new strain, the reality so far is that they are actually very impressive. Leonhardt argues even the 95% effectiveness rate understates how well they work:”

“Earth to Joe Biden: Canceling Keystone XL Pipeline Is a Gift to China and Russia”
“Joe Biden’s plans to cancel the Keystone XL Pipeline is a gift to someone. The radical green groups for sure: they have opposed the oil link since its inception. The trucking and railroad industry will benefit, too, because once the pipeline is stopped, then the oil will be transported in and around America by something with wheels. It’s also a gift to our adversaries: for who will benefit when America and Canada can’t bring their fossil fuels to market? The competition. Russia and Venezuela will be thrilled to know their market share will increase thanks to the Biden Administration’s fumble.
What’s fascinating about Keystone is how un-fascinating the project actually really is. Sure, it’s a marvel of engineering and an extraordinary accomplishment of human and mechanical skills. The 1,200 mile pipeline from Alberta, Canada to the U.S. Gulf Coast carrying crude oil to be refined is a great infrastructure project. A State Department study commissioned during the Obama Administration (when Joe Biden was Veep, a point which requires emphasis) determined the pipeline would create 3,200 temporary construction jobs directly, 42,000 additional jobs indirectly, and generate over $2 billion in wages. For the people in Montana, South Dakota, and Nebraska, the states through which the proposed pipeline will transverse, that’s an enormous opportunity.
Joe Biden claims to love infrastructure. His “Build Back Better” program commits to infrastructure programs which create “good paying” jobs and achieve “net-zero” emissions. (Know what has emissions? Trucks and trains. Know what doesn’t? Pipelines. But alas, there’s no place for facts in a party which simplistically “believes in science.”). Eliminating Keystone for purely political reasons eliminates these jobs and all the opportunities for these communities. Rural America will not fare well under the Biden energy agenda. After all, this is just the beginning.”

Joe Biden’s inaugural speech as 46th president is predictably being hailed for its “unifying” message. And just as predictably, his invocations of the divisive bromides of the identitarian Left are being swept under the rug.
According to Biden, we are a “great nation” and a “good people.” But we also oppress minorities with an ever-rising fervor. “Growing inequity” is among the greatest challenges facing the country, according to Biden, along with the “sting of systemic racism” and encroaching “white supremacy.” Only now are we confronting “a cry for racial justice, some four hundred years in the making.”
One might have thought that more than 50 years of civil rights legislation; the banishing of Jim Crow segregation; the ubiquity of racial preferences throughout corporate America, higher education, and government; trillions of dollars of tax dollars attempting to close the academic achievement gap; and the election of black politicians by white voting districts would have reduced inequity, not increased it. But to Biden’s speechwriters, steeped in academic victimology, racial inequity is always with us, requiring constant remediation from government.
Biden rattled off a litany of white America’s sins: the “harsh, ugly reality” of “racism, nativism, fear, [and] demonization”; “anger, resentment, hatred, [and] extremism.” He did not name white Americans as such, but he did not need to. That qualifier is inherent in the language he chose to adopt.
This characterization of America’s worsening racism is not just factually ungrounded, it is also a tasteless rhetorical move in an inaugural address. Reflexive invocations of “systemic racism” and “white supremacy” have become the Tourette’s Syndrome of left-wing professors and activists. They are au courant, shallow terms of the moment, lacking depth or weight.
In fact, such terms are so overused today that it is easy to tune them out. But that would be a mistake. The “systemic racism” conceit means that every American institution is illegitimate and needs to be reconstructed. Biden’s cabinet nominees, whether in health, finance, environmental policy, or education, have declared that eradicating systemic racism is their top priority. How this agenda will play out has already been adumbrated in the CDC’s initial priority list for Covid vaccinations: hold off on vaccinating the elderly, despite their higher risk levels, because the elderly are disproportionately white. Racial quotas will become even more the order of the day than now. The diversity obsessives in the federal science bureaucracies waited out Donald Trump’s presidency. They will now redouble their efforts to treat a researcher’s race and sex as scientific qualifications in the awarding of federal research grants. Expect to see any mention of merit or excellence denounced as a form of bigotry, a response that the University of California and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture, as well as an army of corporate diversity trainers, have already perfected.”

This morning I was reading in II Chron 12, and in v 1 it says that “when Rehoboam had established the kingdom and had strengthened himself, that he forsook the law of the Lord, and all Israel along with him.” In his pride and disobedience he was actually abandoning God Himself – in v 5 it says, “You have forsaken Me, and therefore I also have left you…” There is no effective relationship with God without obedience to His will (Word).
It struck me that this is a picture of our nation, and esp. with this new administration which has “strengthened itself” through an unholy alliance of the media, courts, politicians, Big Tech and foreign entities. God Himself has been abandoned. How much mercy does He still have for us?

As I said, people often accidentally say one thing when they mean another. For example, a pastor might use the word abortion (which he was against) when he meant to say adoption (which he was for). I can’t remember the exact words, but I do remember that one time my pastor kept saying the wrong word in his sermon, sort of like the abortion/adoption thing, but not that.

If another person would be jailed or ticketed or otherwise chastised for the exact same behaviour, I would suggest the politician who put it into effect not flaunt it. And we know they would as it has happened repeatedly.

Kizzie, your comment about your pastor mixing words up reminded me of one time last summer when my husband was leading us in the Apostles Creed and his eye must have momentarily jumped to the wrong line, because instead of “conceived by the Holy Spirit” he said “crucified by the Holy Spirit.” My son and I looked at each other with a “did he just say what I think he said” sort of look, then were glad we were wearing masks, because there was no way to keep a straight face. If we are to accept the Left’s narrative, we are to believe that Trump’s building of the wall along our southern border is racist, immoral, and ineffective.

Under Trump, 450 miles of wall were completed, apprehensions for illegal immigration dropped by as much as 70 percent between May and August of last year, and U.S. law enforcement seized over 100,000 pounds of cocaine in 2020 alone.”

This was a pretty good summary of the Clinton, Bush, Obama and Trump years. But no more. The Democrats have taken control of the presidency and both houses of Congress. But based on the evidence of the past week, that hasn’t made them any less crazy.
First, there was the unleashing of the Big Tech titans against the Twitter alternative Parler. For years, people who complained about ideological bias at Facebook and Twitter were told to just build their own platforms. But when an alternative emerged in the form of Parler, the giants conspired to suffocate it. Amazon kicked Parler off its hosting platform, while Apple and Google banned the app from their stores. Parler may not survive the one-two blow.
Parler’s crime? Some people who organized the Capitol Hill riot used its services.
It might seem crazy to set a precedent that social-media companies — who have long claimed no responsibility for what people do on their platforms — are responsible for things said by a small number of their users. But that’s Big Tech’s position, made all the more galling by the fact that the latest reporting suggests Facebook users played an enormous role in organizing the event.
In the event, Parler went from the No. 1 app to life support in a matter of days.
Facebook also took down all sorts of pages, including one for the “WalkAway” campaign, designed to encourage minority voters to switch to the Republican Party, with more than 500,000 followers. And Twitter, of course, banned President Trump, a move that drew criticism even from German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who has never been a Trump fan. And former Rep. Ron Paul’s page was locked after he published a column critical of Facebook. (Facebook later called that move a “mistake.”)
Even five years ago, this sort of thing would have seemed insane. But here we are.
Then Democrats voted to impeach President Trump. Again. When they last impeached him almost exactly a year ago — just in time to distract the White House, Congress and the nation from the looming coronavirus pandemic — the grounds were, to say the least, thin. It was notable that Democrats didn’t even bring up impeachment at their convention, and it stayed below the radar during the presidential campaign. After allegedly being a matter of earthshattering importance, it was like it never happened.
But now they have impeached Trump — a week before he was scheduled to leave office anyway. And this time, the claim was even thinner: that a speech in which Trump called for peaceful protests was somehow “incitement” of events on Capitol Hill and elsewhere, some of which apparently took place before the speech was delivered.
When Democrats spent a year promoting and excusing violent riots against the police, we were told that it was “mostly peaceful” protest, even when police stations and state capitols were seized, and when rioters tried to burn down federal courthouses. When Trump called for peaceful protest, we’re told he was advocating violence. Byron York calls this “the crazy impeachment,” and he’s right.
It seems that the public agrees that both of these big Democratic initiatives are, well, crazy. In a McLaughlin poll of battleground state voters, 60 percent said impeachment was a waste of time. Seventy-seven percent said Congress should work on the coronavirus response instead. Seventy-four percent said impeachment is “politically motivated to prevent the president from running again.” And 65 percent said that President-elect Joe Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi are “keeping the country divided.”
Meanwhile, 70 percent thought that the Big Tech companies have gotten too powerful and need to be cut down to size, and 74 percent thought that if Silicon Valley billionaires could take away Trump’s free speech, “they can take away the right to free speech for any American.”
At least the voters haven’t gone as crazy as the people they elected.”

In this moment of crisis, we have what appears to be the most elderly class of political elites in the history of the nation. The octogenarian and septuagenarian set of Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, Jim Clyburn, Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnell, Dick Durbin are white knuckling it to the end of their careers — attempting to make their mark before leaving the stage and passing things on to people who share none of their memories of the time before.
This brittle leadership class in our politics inhabits the same America as a much younger leadership class of corporatist tech oligarch, unmoored from any deep understanding of what made the nation the envy of the world. They believe they have inherited the godhead of the universe, with the ability and the duty to reshape the globe as they see fit. Where the aged elected officials dither, they have the ability to act to make the world a better place. They have, and they will. And they will do it by controlling to the greatest degree possible what people see, what they know, how they think, and ultimately, how they vote.
One class is frail, old, and out of touch in a rapidly changing world. The other is out of touch, too — lacking any of the humility necessary for leadership — but is absolutely convinced of its abiding power and wisdom. After all, if you can come up with so many products consumers want, wouldn’t it stand to reason they will also enjoy your total control over their lives?
The crumbling facade of America’s elites has been a bipartisan problem for two decades. Four years ago, Donald Trump thrived on being the only politician to say this explicitly, even to the extent of his inauguration speech and much to the disgust of the ruling class. But the reaction to this pandemic has only degraded trust in this class further. It is unlikely to reverse course upon the ascendancy of its first Silent Generation president, particularly when his policies will serve to reinforce the belief that our political leadership is not an advocate for the people, but a puppet on the strings of those who run the country.”

“Earlier today I wrote about China’s attempts to badmouth U.S. vaccines in response to one of their own vaccines failing to perform as they had hoped. But Monday the NY Times’ David Leonhardt argued that, even setting China’s propaganda aside, we may be underselling just how effective these vaccines are.
He starts by recalling the advice that was given early last year about wearing masks. You probably remember there was a time nearly a year ago when the official guidance from the WHO and others, often repeated by the media, was that masks were unnecessary and didn’t help. There was a reason for that advice at the time. There was concern that panic buying of masks would lead to the same result we saw with toilet paper, i.e. not enough to go around. And that would have created a problem because people in the medical field needed those masks.
But that well-intention message backfired. People could tell they weren’t being told the whole truth and the eventual reversal of course by public health experts made it look like they didn’t know what they were talking about. That’s not a good way to build confidence that the same people can be trusted with your health. Now we may be doing the same thing again, only this time with regard to vaccines.
Right now, public discussion of the vaccines is full of warnings about their limitations: They’re not 100 percent effective. Even vaccinated people may be able to spread the virus. And people shouldn’t change their behavior once they get their shots.
These warnings have a basis in truth, just as it’s true that masks are imperfect. But the sum total of the warnings is misleading, as I heard from multiple doctors and epidemiologists last week.
Despite the various concerns about potential problems with the vaccines, including the worry that they won’t be effective on some new strain, the reality so far is that they are actually very impressive. Leonhardt argues even the 95% effectiveness rate understates how well they work:”

Joe Biden claims to love infrastructure. His “Build Back Better” program commits to infrastructure programs which create “good paying” jobs and achieve “net-zero” emissions. (Know what has emissions? Trucks and trains. Know what doesn’t? Pipelines. But alas, there’s no place for facts in a party which simplistically “believes in science.”). Eliminating Keystone for purely political reasons eliminates these jobs and all the opportunities for these communities. Rural America will not fare well under the Biden energy agenda. After all, this is just the beginning.”

Joe Biden’s inaugural speech as 46th president is predictably being hailed for its “unifying” message. And just as predictably, his invocations of the divisive bromides of the identitarian Left are being swept under the rug.
According to Biden, we are a “great nation” and a “good people.” But we also oppress minorities with an ever-rising fervor. “Growing inequity” is among the greatest challenges facing the country, according to Biden, along with the “sting of systemic racism” and encroaching “white supremacy.” Only now are we confronting “a cry for racial justice, some four hundred years in the making.”
One might have thought that more than 50 years of civil rights legislation; the banishing of Jim Crow segregation; the ubiquity of racial preferences throughout corporate America, higher education, and government; trillions of dollars of tax dollars attempting to close the academic achievement gap; and the election of black politicians by white voting districts would have reduced inequity, not increased it. But to Biden’s speechwriters, steeped in academic victimology, racial inequity is always with us, requiring constant remediation from government.
Biden rattled off a litany of white America’s sins: the “harsh, ugly reality” of “racism, nativism, fear, [and] demonization”; “anger, resentment, hatred, [and] extremism.” He did not name white Americans as such, but he did not need to. That qualifier is inherent in the language he chose to adopt.
This characterization of America’s worsening racism is not just factually ungrounded, it is also a tasteless rhetorical move in an inaugural address. Reflexive invocations of “systemic racism” and “white supremacy” have become the Tourette’s Syndrome of left-wing professors and activists. They are au courant, shallow terms of the moment, lacking depth or weight.
In fact, such terms are so overused today that it is easy to tune them out. But that would be a mistake. The “systemic racism” conceit means that every American institution is illegitimate and needs to be reconstructed. Biden’s cabinet nominees, whether in health, finance, environmental policy, or education, have declared that eradicating systemic racism is their top priority. How this agenda will play out has already been adumbrated in the CDC’s initial priority list for Covid vaccinations: hold off on vaccinating the elderly, despite their higher risk levels, because the elderly are disproportionately white. Racial quotas will become even more the order of the day than now. The diversity obsessives in the federal science bureaucracies waited out Donald Trump’s presidency. They will now redouble their efforts to treat a researcher’s race and sex as scientific qualifications in the awarding of federal research grants. Expect to see any mention of merit or excellence denounced as a form of bigotry, a response that the University of California and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture, as well as an army of corporate diversity trainers, have already perfected.”

This morning I was reading in II Chron 12, and in v 1 it says that “when Rehoboam had established the kingdom and had strengthened himself, that he forsook the law of the Lord, and all Israel along with him.” In his pride and disobedience he was actually abandoning God Himself – in v 5 it says, “You have forsaken Me, and therefore I also have left you…” There is no effective relationship with God without obedience to His will (Word).
It struck me that this is a picture of our nation, and esp. with this new administration which has “strengthened itself” through an unholy alliance of the media, courts, politicians, Big Tech and foreign entities. God Himself has been abandoned. How much mercy does He still have for us?

As I said, people often accidentally say one thing when they mean another. For example, a pastor might use the word abortion (which he was against) when he meant to say adoption (which he was for). I can’t remember the exact words, but I do remember that one time my pastor kept saying the wrong word in his sermon, sort of like the abortion/adoption thing, but not that.

If another person would be jailed or ticketed or otherwise chastised for the exact same behaviour, I would suggest the politician who put it into effect not flaunt it. And we know they would as it has happened repeatedly.

I saw a piece yesterday where Harris’s neice was warned that she’s not to profit off her aunt’s name now that she’s vp. But the Biden family hasn’t adopted that standard for themselves. It would be funny if not so pathetic.

Kizzie, your comment about your pastor mixing words up reminded me of one time last summer when my husband was leading us in the Apostles Creed and his eye must have momentarily jumped to the wrong line, because instead of “conceived by the Holy Spirit” he said “crucified by the Holy Spirit.” My son and I looked at each other with a “did he just say what I think he said” sort of look, then were glad we were wearing masks, because there was no way to keep a straight face. (Not that the idea of it was funny, but it was just so outrageously wrong that it struck us both as something to laugh at.) My husband had no idea what he had said, of course, until we told him later on the way home.

I won’t support sending monies to end the lives of the unborn or just born. I won’t support having males showering with females just because he might say he is a she or visa versa…
So yes…I will pay my taxes, I will drive the speed limit, I will wear the mask… I will do as the Lord leads me to do….and I will continue to pray for hearts to be changed…this is all in His Hands and I will put my trust in Him….
