Well, that sure was a disappointment. SCOTUS sided with the corrupted Dems and failed to follow the Constitution. They (save for two Justices) actually betrayed the American people.
“Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections.” Really? So Texans (and other litigants) are supposed to pay Federal taxes and conform to Federal laws that come from a fraudulently-elected President because other states conducts corrupt elections? You (four states) can violate your state constitutions, infringe on the rest of us who voted according to the rules and laws set by our states, yet you get to break your own laws and we are supposed to stand for that? The players who follow the rules end up losing because the other players cheated, and the ref simply ignores it.
SCOTUS has one basic job – to uphold the Constitution. The SC Justices know very well that it was unconstitutional for those four states to change election laws, when they actually had no authority to do so.

SCOTUS dismissed the case for lack of standing – they did NOT decide the case on the merits of the arguments, for they never got that far. What’s very likely going to happen now is that someone with standing in each of the battleground states (MI, PA, WI, GA) – someone like a State elector or representative or the President himself – will file essentially the same TX brief in the Federal District Court for each of these states. So there will be four lawsuits brought at the District level. They won’t be able to be dismissed for lack of standing – and therefore will likely be heard on their merits – with hopefully an expedited path to SCOTUS to hear all four cases long before Jan 6th – which is the constitutionally operative date (Dec 14th is set by US Code – 3 USC, but this is preempted by the Constitution). If there are any Constitutional issues, they can be heard all the way up to just before Jan 6th – when the Congress counts the electoral votes and actually then legally names the President-elect.
Also, Sidney Powell writes this: “Pay attention! We made emergency filings in the Supreme Court tonight for Georgia & Michigan. Will be filing for Arizona and Wisconsin shortly. These cases raise constitutional issues, and prove massive fraud. Our plaintiffs have standing… We The People will not allow rigged elections.”

Not surprised the case was dismissed without standing. I did appreciate the irony of a state which once seceded over the state right to own an other human being attempting to interfere in an other state’s election. To increase the irony, most of the Republicans who signed on were from former Confederate states. As AJ told me months ago while discussing gerrymandering and the need for consistent nation wide rules, the state’s control the elections — its in the Constitution. I believe Thomas and Alito wanted to hear the case just so they could dismiss it and set precedent. None dissent from the actual dismissal.
Suits have already been filed in their respective states and have been dismissed. There’s really nothing to argue — each time lawyers are asked in court if there is fraud, they reply no. The argument now is that these states changed or did not follow the election law and constitution. However, these challenges were not made when these changes were made prior to the election — once accepted, these rules were followed and voters acted in good faith when voting. Thus I can’t see these cases making an impacted. The lawyers are then left to argue one fraudulent vote at a time,
In some respects, Republican party leaders know the election was valid but also know the accusations raise doubts and will allow them to tighten access to the ballot — less mail in, less absentee, more ID, etc. As is commonly known the higher the turnout the better the Democratic chance.
The Chinese economy is integrated in the US economy not just Georgia. Its a non-issue unless you read the epoch times which is a Taiwanese newspaper about as valid as Russia Today when commenting on the US election. Ties to China are common in any business even Trump corporations; Ivanka was granted over a dozen patents in the last four years.
Hunter’s tax dodge is not unexpected but is irrelevant since Biden doesn’t appear to be in favour of nepotism. It doesn’t discredit Biden (however if you think he should resign …) One of the reasons some speculate in Trump’s denial of reality and loss is the pending tax investigations which will be reactivated when leaves the white house. Those who speculate may have something as its rumored Trump is looking into pardoning himself his kids and other friends even before cases involving the family are brought to trial. These investigations do discredit the Trump administration since he believes in nepotism.

There’s a lot of rumors regarding Dominion. They remind me of leftist conspiracy theories of Diebold in 2004, except Dominion has a paper trail. Any allegations of miscounts can be refuted by counting the paper ballots. From what I understand, in most jurisdictions you can check the paper ballot to make sure it matches your electronic choices. If you didn’t check that’s on you — if I stood in line to vote I would double check the ballot.
I wonder if those who wish to disregard the presidential votes in Penn, MI, WI, and GA would also disregard the votes down ballot — it is after all on the same ballot. If the election procedure was flawed, then all votes on the ballot shouldn’t count not just the presidents.
Some strange claims I’ve seen on DVS;
They choose the name “Dominion” to signify their intention to dominate and control. Nope, “Dominion” is a fairly common business name in Canada (Toronto Dominion Bank, Dominion Groceries, etc) and comes from the country’s former formal name the Dominion of Canada. A term chosen from a bible verse, “He shall have dominion also from sea to sea” Pslm 72:8. This became the generic name for self governing nations under the English monarch. The term was dropped from other countries and finally by Canada in 1982.
Trudeau won his election due to DVS — this one came from right wing Canadians who might want to try voting. Its always been done on a small piece of paper, put in a box and counted by hand. Variations of this rumor also credit DVS for Macron and Merkel.
Trump lost because people hated him so much they came out in record numbers. Its that simple.

I heard today that about 25 black pastors are going to talk to Reverand Warnock about that issue. So many black babies are aborted here in Atlanta. I heard several years back that in my county there are more abortions of black babies than births. I care about that. God cares. Many here are against it including Alveda King, the niece of MLK.

Kizzie, just random thoughts explaining that not everyone who voted for Trump deified him. Some people give thought to who is the VP. Some people actually care about the party platforms It is not all about Trump. Did anyone listen to the YouTube from the actual event or is everyone content with reading commentary from talking heads? I sometimes feel so discounted here. I need to be told to listen to the other side because I’m thought to lack any ability to think for myself. It feels insulting. Maybe I will just engage in a pity party (Happy Birthday, and all). Of course, I don’t think that every Trump supporter is like those who were at that rally or others who are tying their religion to their politics. In fact, when some people on Facebook paint all Trump supporters as ignorant or racist or whatnot, I often explain that many good and fine people are Trump supporters for reasons that have nothing to do with racism or hating immigrants or whatnot. I have even “defended” Trump when his words have been twisted or taken out of context. I believe in being fair.
The few of us on this thread who are not Trump supporters are not discounting you or thinking that you lack the ability to think for yourself. We are merely sharing other perspectives of what is going on. They are not directed at you personally.
Quite frankly, DJ and I get slammed pretty hard on here for taking a contrary view. But we still occasionally try to share things with differing views, knowing that they will probably not be appreciated.
Our pastor was asked at a recent Q&A session what he thought of folks who saw those who voted (or didn’t vote) for one candidate or another were somehow not faithful Christians.

The thing is, Kizzie, that we see the kind of news you post all over the media. What you post is not new news. It’s what we see everywhere. I think sometimes people want to keep things stirred up. They want to get a reaction. Given what we are going through in Georgia, I am ripe for a reaction. Like I said, I realize I am sensitive at the moment. I challenge you to live in this mess of a state for a bit and see if it makes you on the sensitive side.
Sometimes getting the news on here from the other side (that I am surrounded by all around me since I live in this uber liberal area) feels suffocating. And I really can’t understand how anyone who is a true Christian can vote pro abortion. That seals the deal for me. I know who I will vote for based on that above all else. From my limited knowledge of God, I can not in my wildest imaginings think He would want me to vote pro abortion.
Janice, no one on this blog (except potentially HRW) votes pro-abortion or has any sympathy at all for the pro-abortion position. That isn’t the issue, and it has never been the issue for any of us. (And I never said on here how I voted this year.)
BTW, I lived in Chicago for 14 years, and eight of those years in an all-black neighborhood. Two precincts voted in my polling place, and in all the times I voted there, I never saw another white person in my polling place. When I voted in the primary, no one even asked “Republican or Democrat?”–I was handed a Democratic ballot. My neighborhood would have been 98% Democrat or pretty near. Living in such an area means one has to be willing and able to engage with people from a different position.
DJ’s post actually was “new news” to me–it’s the first I had heard of that gathering. It’s also extremely important news, probably the most important on this thread. But it isn’t “the most important news” because it’s about politics. Politics is way overrated in this country. The church is exponentially more important than politics–and much of the church has sold its birthright for a mess of political porridge. That’s what makes that report alarming and important.

I know a number of Christians, in good conscience, voted for Trump.
And I respect that.
But there also are Christians who, in good conscience, did not vote for Trump.
That seems to be less understood or accepted here.

Sometimes getting the news on here from the other side (that I am surrounded by all around me since I live in this uber liberal area) feels suffocating. And I really can’t understand how anyone who is a true Christian can vote pro abortion. That seals the deal for me. I know who I will vote for based on that above all else. From my limited knowledge of God, I can not in my wildest imaginings think He would want me to vote pro abortion.

Janice, no one on this blog (except potentially HRW) votes pro-abortion or has any sympathy at all for the pro-abortion position. That isn’t the issue, and it has never been the issue for any of us. (And I never said on here how I voted this year.)
BTW, I lived in Chicago for 14 years, and eight of those years in an all-black neighborhood. Two precincts voted in my polling place, and in all the times I voted there, I never saw another white person in my polling place. When I voted in the primary, no one even asked “Republican or Democrat?”–I was handed a Democratic ballot. My neighborhood would have been 98% Democrat or pretty near. Living in such an area means one has to be willing and able to engage with people from a different position.
DJ’s post actually was “new news” to me–it’s the first I had heard of that gathering. It’s also extremely important news, probably the most important on this thread. But it isn’t “the most important news” because it’s about politics. Politics is way overrated in this country. The church is exponentially more important than politics–and much of the church has sold its birthright for a mess of political porridge. That’s what makes that report alarming and important.
