  1. Barr’s remarks are being misrepresented as well.

He didn’t say no fraud, he said not enough to affect the outcome. They may be true in individual states, but when numerous states have the same issues, there’s still widespread fraud.

““To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election,” Barr said.
Barr, who prior to the election echoed President Donald Trump’s claims that mail-in voting wasn’t secure, said both the Justice Department and the Department of Homeland Security have looked into claims of fraud and come up empty.
“There’s been one assertion that would be systemic fraud and that would be the claim that machines were programmed essentially to skew the election results,” Barr said. “And the DHS and DOJ have looked into that, and so far, we haven’t seen anything to substantiate that.””

But did they seize the voting machines? No.

Did they seize the servers and computers used in Dominion machines? No.

They just took their word for it.

So they really have no idea either way. Barr seems to be taking the route of someone who needs a job, not one looking for actual fraud.

  2. Like a few people here, the media has persistently claimed that Biden is the president-elect. Candace Owens challenged that claim in a Facebook post, insisting that “Joe Biden is literally and legally not the President-elect. So why is the media pretending he is?”

Typifying the fake fact-checkers, PolitiFact rated the assertion false, prompting the threat of legal action from Owens. They were, of course, forced to retract.

As one commenter contends, if the media will lie about something so trivial, then why should we believe them when they say that there was no election fraud (despite all the evidence)?

  3. I think we do know there is fraud in multiple states. Some may have difficulty believing it is organized enough to affect the election outcome. Normally I would be one of those people. However, the last 4 years have opened my eyes somewhat to the depth of corruption and even depravity in DC and among power brokers. The groundless prosecution of our President from the time he won in 2016 through the election last month when members of Congress were suggesting he be impeached for covid, convinced me otherwise. I think there is no depth to which some of these people will not sink to keep their power. And there seems to be alot of them with billions in resources to make it happen.

Ultimately, we know that we are not wrestling with flesh and blood and no political party is immune from those evil powers. But Trump is not a political party; his presidency is just a path back to a sovereign political state of being that we abandoned a long time ago. We may have chosen another path. I hope not.

  4. Like I said, what he said has been misrepresented.

    https://legalinsurrection.com/2020/12/ag-barr-no-criminal-fraud-on-a-scale-that-would-change-outcome-of-election-trumps-legal-team-responds/

“Barr’s statement appears limited to criminal prosecution: “He said people were confusing the use of the federal criminal justice system with allegations that should be made in civil lawsuits. He said such a remedy for those complaints would be a top-down audit conducted by state or local officials, not the U.S. Justice Department.””

“In an interview with the Associated Press, Attorney General William Barr indicated that their investigations found no evidence of widespread criminal fraud such that the outcome of the election would change.

While the AP lede is clickbaity, it ignores the fact that most complaints are being pursued via civil channels and not criminal ones.

Bar said “confusing the use of the federal criminal justice system with allegations that should be made in civil lawsuits. He said such a remedy for those complaints would be a top-down audit conducted by state or local officials, not the U.S. Justice Department.””

    And the Trump teams response….

  5. Good.

“Barr Appoints Special Counsel to investigate Russian probe

Investigating the investigators. If only they’d started all of this a bit sooner.”

    https://legalinsurrection.com/2020/12/barr-appoints-special-counsel-to-investigate-russian-probe/

“Attorney General William Barr has given extra protection to the prosecutor he appointed to investigate the origins of the Trump-Russia probe, giving him authority to complete the work without being easily fired.

Barr told The Associated Press on Tuesday that he had appointed U.S. Attorney John Durham as a special counsel in October under the same federal statute that governed special counsel Robert Mueller in the original Russia probe. He said Durham’s investigation has been narrowing to focus more on the conduct of FBI agents who worked on the Russia investigation, known as Crossfire Hurricane.

Under federal regulations, a special counsel can be fired only by the attorney general and for specific reasons such as misconduct, dereliction of duty or conflict of interest. An attorney general must document such reasons in writing.

The investigations grew out of allegations of cooperation between Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and Russians to help him defeat Democrat Hillary Clinton.

“I decided the best thing to do would be to appoint them under the same regulation that covered Bob Mueller, to provide Durham and his team some assurance that they’d be able to complete their work regardless of the outcome of the election,” Barr said Tuesday.

Biden’s transition team didn’t immediately comment on the appointment.”

Of course not. They’re ticked. But if they fire him now, they just look more guilty. A slick move by Barr.

  6. Tychicus no one says there was “no” fraud.

The point that is debated is whether that fraud was so utterly widespread in some kind of conspiracy that it could (and did) change the results. Generally, the answer to that has been a resounding “no” as those allegations have been turned away legally at several points (including by some Trump judicial appointees).

There is fraud committed in all elections, by both sides most likely. Nothing new under the sun.

To say anyone here has said there was “no” fraud at all just isn’t accurate. The debate is whether the results were ‘rigged,’ in the president’s words, in were coordinated and committed in some widespread and connected manner — with the intention of skewing the nationwide results.

  7. Never heard of him, Kizzie. Why bring him up here other than to distract from the relevant news? Maybe he is a decoy to make Christians look bad. It is hard to know truth from lies these days. I am a deplorable gullible in the eyes of some. So what does it matter what I think? I am reminded of the same old players who will lie, lie, kill, and lie some more to get their way.

  8. One of my Facebook friends was lamenting that more Christians are not denouncing that guy, and others like him. I pointed out that I hadn’t even heard of him until seeing that post.

People tend to like to keep an eye on – and call out – the loonies and bad characters on the “other side”. Even so, they need to be aware of the ones on their own side.

  9. If it isn’t enough fraud to affect the election, Is it still a felony?
We should not allow mail in ballots again.
A new rule should abandon mail-in altogether.
An absentee ballot should be received a week before election day.
No ballot should be accepted after polls close, no matter the source.

  10. Nope. No widespread fraud here….

“Whistleblowers: Postal Service labeled Trump mail ‘Undeliverable,’ 388,000 ballots backdated, ‘disappear’”

    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/washington-secrets/whistleblowers-post-office-labeled-trump-mail-undeliverable-388-000-ballots-backdated-disappear

“Several whistleblowers on Tuesday cast new uncertainty on the 2020 election process, claiming up to 288,000 ballots disappeared, another 100,000 were improperly backdated, and mail promoting President Trump was junked while mail for Joe Biden was delivered.

In the most extraordinary report, a U.S. Postal Service contractor said his trailer full of 144,000-288,000 completed mail-in ballots, which he drove between New York and Pennsylvania, disappeared after he delivered it to a Lancaster, Pennsylvania, depot.

Another claimed that ballots were backdated by postal workers, and in Traverse City, Michigan, Trump campaign mail was put in bins labeled “Undeliverable Bulk Business Mail” while the same type of mail for Joe Biden was ordered to be delivered on time.

And a third raised new issues about the integrity of Dominion voting machines.”

And no, this hasn’t been looked at by the FBI.

    Yet.

  11. DJ: A couple of weeks ago you suggested that it is time move on, because the election had already been decided. Now you are claiming that there might have been fraud, but it was not widespread enough to change the results. How do you know that? The true result hasn’t been fully determined yet. (Any “turning away” so far has been for political reasons, not b/c the evidence has been thoroughly vetted.) However, based on the hundreds and hundreds of sworn affidavits, videos, eyewitness testimony and other evidence presented in court and before state election committees, there was clear evidence of fraud in all of the swing states and even in many other states as well, with the kind of numbers that reveal that it was actually an electoral landslide victory for Pres. Trump.

They knew it was so on Election Night, which is why they actually had to stop the counting. They called in all the fake ballots that they had produced, yet due to the incredible Trump turnout, they were still short. However, they also leveraged the Dominion software to actually flip votes cast for Trump to Biden votes – the ‘results’ being reported are actually mathematically impossible. They had to run the fraud machines beyond their limits of control – and voter registration data is one of the keys that is going to prove that (as long as it will actually be admissible).

Given how extensive the fraud really was, every county in the country should actually be audited!

  12. During this election, we have seen…
ballot tampering; USPS fraud; Big Tech & media censorship; irregular election rolls; unconstitutional election stations; destruction of ballots; “glitch after glitch” voting machines; statistical improbabilities; mathematical impossibilities; media polling interference; dead people voting; orchestrated election announcements (voter suppression); election observers banned from actually observing; money-for-vote raffles; openly bullying, harassing and threatening people for their political views; hundreds of thousands of ballots suddenly appearing overnight. And of course, talking heads coming out to tell us not to believe what we are actually seeing and hearing.

We have to maintain the integrity of the ballot box. We have to make sure that legitimate voters are not disenfranchised. Our Republic has been a wonderful experiment, and we have to continue to choose to live as a free people under God.
