“Confirmed: Media Collusion To Smother Biden Influence Peddling Scandal Worked”

    ——

“But Joe Biden’s campaign team noticed that it did not persuade many people to vote against Biden. They discovered it’s because the mainstream media didn’t pick it up.

We all knew the MSM wouldn’t touch the stories coming from The New York Post. Twitter and Facebook tried to stop people from sharing it, but that only made people talk about it even more on the platforms. They eventually caved.

The Daily Beast did itself no favors with its post. I think the fact that the Hunter Biden story never resonated with voters because of MSM suppression is newsworthy. The Daily Beast made the article about the Democratic Party losing the social media war.

George Stephanopoulos did not ask Joe Biden about Hunter’s laptop and emails during an ABC town hall on October 16.

NPR confirmed on October 22 it refused to cover the Hunter Biden story because it didn’t “want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories” or waste their audience’s “time on stories that are just pure distractions.”

On October 30, NBC News decided to debunk an old Hunter Biden non-story as a way to distract from the actual story. If you could make it past the headline and beginning of the story you would get confirmation from NBC News that the story did not have any connection to Biden’s laptop.

Glenn Greenwald resigned from The Intercept, which he co-founded, because the editors did not want to run his story on Hunter Biden:

The final, precipitating cause is that The Intercept’s editors, in violation of my contractual right of editorial freedom, censored an article I wrote this week, refusing to publish it unless I remove all sections critical of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, the candidate vehemently supported by all New-York-based Intercept editors involved in this effort at suppression.

The censored article, based on recently revealed emails and witness testimony, raised critical questions about Biden’s conduct. Not content to simply prevent publication of this article at the media outlet I co-founded, these Intercept editors also demanded that I refrain from exercising a separate contractual right to publish this article with any other publication.

Greenwald recently criticized CNN for allowing Rep. Adam Schiff to lie on national TV:

“[Wolf Blitzer] asked him a rhetorical question embedded with baseless assumptions: ‘does it surprise you at all that this information Rudy Giuliani is peddling very well could be connected to some sort of Russian government disinformation campaign?’” Greenwald wrote Thursday. “Schiff stated definitively that it is: ‘we know that this whole smear on Joe Biden comes from the Kremlin,’ adding: ‘clearly, the origins of this whole smear are from the Kremlin, and the President is only too happy to have Kremlin help in amplifying it… ‘there it is in the Oval Office: another wonderful propaganda coup for Vladimir Putin, seeing the President of the United States holding up a newspaper promoting Kremlin propaganda.”

He continued, “Schiff, as he usually does when he moves his mouth, was lying: exploiting CNN’s notorious willingness to allow Democratic officials to spread disinformation over its airwaves without the slightest challenge. Schiff claimed certainty about something for which there was and still is no evidence: that the Russians played a role in the procurement and publication of the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop.”

Greenwald ended his latest post with a great mic drop:

“Yet again we find that the most prolific propagators of Fake News and disinformation are not the enemies of the mainstream U.S. media. It is the mainstream U.S. media itself that deceives, propagandizes and spreads disinformation on behalf of the coalition of the intelligence community and the Democratic Party far more than any other faction or entity.””

  5. Good reason.

“Republicans Have Good Reason Not To Trust The Election Results
And it’s not because they’re stupid, traitorous Nazis.”

“To read reports in the mainstream press about the throngs of President Trump’s supporters who rallied in Washington, D.C., over the weekend, you’d think the crowd was made up of a bunch of conspiracy theory-addled rubes and delusional far-right extremists all of them hoodwinked into thinking the election was stolen. To read David Frum’s Twitter take, you’d think they were all Nazis.

The march came on the heels of a poll last week that found a staggering 70 percent of Republicans now say they don’t believe the presidential election was free and fair. That news, like news of the self-described Million MAGA March, was met with a mix of contempt, hysteria, and condescension from Democrats and the media.

That news, like news of the self-described Million MAGA March, was met with a mix of contempt, hysteria, and condescension from Democrats and the media.

No wonder scores of Republican poll challengers in Michigan filed sworn affidavits claiming tens of thousands of fraudulent ballots were counted for Biden in Detroit. No wonder that in Philadelphia, poll watchers reported how they were forcibly kept from observing the counting of absentee ballots, as required under state law.

Not all the reports of ballot-counting skullduggery amount to old-fashioned voter fraud, but as my colleague Margot Cleveland has noted, they’re just as important because they undermine the integrity of an election just as much as, say, thousands of dead people voting.

Even more egregious than voter fraud (and harder to redress) are cases where election bureaucrats or activist judges simply ignored restrictions that GOP legislatures had passed into law. In Pennsylvania, the state supreme court brushed off rules set by lawmakers and extended a deadline for when absentee ballots could be received. Extending deadlines for absentee ballots is of course an invitation to break election laws—especially in Philadelphia, a city with a long history of ballot-stuffing and bribing election judges.

In other states, the corruption of election integrity was voluntary. In Georgia, the state government settled a lawsuit in March with a cadre of Democratic Party groups that changed the rules for accepting mail-in ballots. Instead of the signature on the ballot having to match the signature on the voter rolls, it only had to match the signature on the mail-in ballot application. You don’t need to be a sophisticated election thief to figure out how to get a fraudulent ballot counted under such rules.

    On and on it goes.”

  6. Violence you say?

Funny. I saw nothing on the news about it…. 🙄

    https://www.foxnews.com/us/d-c-chief-calls-weekend-violence-the-worst-of-country-you-dont-see-that-here

“D.C. chief calls weekend violence ‘the worst’ of country: ‘You don’t see that here’
Police chief said officers confiscated 7 handguns and 1 ‘unique weapon'”

“Violence at rallies over the weekend in the nation’s capital brought out “the worst” of the country, according to the city’s police chief.

Washington, D.C. Chief of Police Peter Newsham fielded questions on Monday regarding the Million MAGA March that took place on Saturday. Newsham said he was “impressed” with how his officers handled the conflicts and condemned the violence itself.”

““The worst of it, for me… was to see our country having those kinds of physical disputes over an election,” Newsham said in response to a reporter’s question. “We attribute that to other countries across the world, but you don’t see that here in the United States, so that was the worst of it for me.”

Newsham also claimed that metropolitan police prevented more conflicts than arose during the weekend, but disclosed scant details about known incidents that took place.”

  8. So much for that “blue wave….” 🙂

    https://nypost.com/2020/11/15/house-leaders-urge-dems-not-to-join-team-biden-to-maintain-majority/

“Confronted with a shrunken majority, House leaders are discouraging fellow Democrats from taking jobs with the incoming Biden administration — out of concern that Republicans could nab any vacated seats, sources told The Post on Sunday.

Insiders variously accused House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) of urging Dems to stay put to preserve their fragile majority.

“Nancy is telling House members, ‘Now is not the time to leave,’” said a Democratic Party official who’s been briefed by Democratic congressional reps.

But another House insider said House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) is urging Democratic congressional reps to stay put, and told the Biden transition team not to poach its members because of the party’s slim majority following the Nov. 3 elections.

The sensitive topic of jumping ship to work for Biden after the loss of House seats came up at a House Democratic caucus meeting last week.

“It’s not helpful to talk about that,” a member of Democratic leadership reportedly said on the call regarding House Dems wanting to relinquish their seats and work for Biden.

“The feeling is: Don’t make rash decisions about going to the administration without first considering consequences to the caucus,” a Democratic insider familiar with the call said.

The “zeitgeist” of the Democratic House leadership is that their majority is “razor thin,” the source said.

Pelosi’s office denied that the speaker is pressuring House Democrats against resigning to work for Biden.”

  12. About Janice’s link….

    https://coosavalleynews.com/2020/11/nearly-3000-additional-votes-discovered-in-hand-recount-in-floyd-county/?fbclid=IwAR2gVVJKWBfKpFyWPGgwjB8VBWO53wdq22KE6OhIge6zsO10I0JlBkt5BMA

“The Floyd County Elections Board will have a called meeting on Thursday after Georgia’s Secretary of State called for the resignation of local elections clerk Robert Brady.

The move came after 2,500 ballots were found not counted following a hand recount in the presidential election over the weekend.

The latest reports said that an investigator with the Secretary of State’s office determined that the miscount was due to “technical issues caused by human error”.

However, according to GOP Chairman Luke Martin, “We have yet to figure out if the error was in fact a computer or user error. I’m not confident that we will ever truly know”.

Scotty Hancock, Floyd County Commission Chair, “This error will be corrected, but this is unacceptable it happened.” He added, “When or if we find out what caused the error we will take action.”

In fact, Hancock stated, “I am disappointed in Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger on his actions Monday. He should have not gone to the media with blame without knowing what was actually going on here. This is a local issue with our elections board and asking for the resignation of Robert Brady until we find out what caused the error was premature.”

According to Floyd County GOP Chairman Luke Martin there were an additional 1,643 votes for Republican President Donald Trump, 865 for Democrat President-elect Joe Biden and 16 for Libertarian Jo Jorgensen.

The issue comes as the result of a replacement scanner being used following issues with the original. Sources state that the ballots were canceled out by the machine made by Dominion. The question still remains, despite numerous reports from other media that it was “human error”, what caused it to not count the nearly 3,000 votes.”

  15. From yesterday;
So was Obama a wimp for not hunting down terrorists or was he a drone road warrior with far too many civilian deaths? (I’ll agree with the latter) And he did kill OBL. As for the Iran nuclear deal — it was actually an excellent piece of foreign policy separating US foreign policy from the Israeli/Saudi nexus, established a joint NATO policy, and gave the US more flexibility in the middle east policy.

The Trump Foundation was shut down and Trump himself ordered to pay $2 million dollars.
    https://ag.ny.gov/press-release/2019/donald-j-trump-pays-court-ordered-2-million-illegally-using-trump-foundation

There’s other incidences where the for profit Trump Organization would bill his own non-profit or his son’s non-profits. The best part of course was he never donated to his own non-profit. The man is a grifter — which reminds me, Roger Stone, convicted criminal and liar, is in charge of the “Stop the Steal” fund.

I knew you’d raise the issue of Democratic leaning media. However, there’s a difference between independent media leaning one way or another ie MSNBC vs FOS and a political party actually operating a mass media company; the latter is not good for democracy.

  16. Trudeau says a lot of things but rarely follows through.

The Biden story was a non-story just like Hilary’s emails. And it will go away after the election just like four years ago. The difference was the MSM wasn’t going to be conned the second time around and so ignored it. As for social media — its bigger than ever and far more right wing than four years ago.

Republicans can believe anything but the facts differ — no claims of fraud have been proven in court. The Georgia recount demonstrates why hand counts are important and one should count all the votes. However, its highly unlikely the outcome will change. Its simple Biden won.

The 2000 analogy is the wrong one. In the Gore-Bush election, it was far closer with one state and only a few hundred votes the difference. This election is very similar to 2016 with the roles reversed — in 2016 the margin was actually closer in the states that counted but Clinton conceded even before the networks. Its obvious Trump lost — his legal challenges have been a complete failure and the margin of Biden’s victory in various states are too high for any type of recount to make a difference.
