Prayer Requests 12-28-19

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 122

A song of ascents. Of David.

I rejoiced with those who said to me,
“Let us go to the house of the Lord.”
Our feet are standing
    in your gates, Jerusalem.

Jerusalem is built like a city
    that is closely compacted together.
That is where the tribes go up—
    the tribes of the Lord
to praise the name of the Lord
according to the statute given to Israel.
There stand the thrones for judgment,
the thrones of the house of David.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May those who love you be secure.
May there be peace within your walls
    and security within your citadels.”
For the sake of my family and friends,
I will say, “Peace be within you.”
For the sake of the house of the Lord our God,
    I will seek your prosperity.

  1. Latest update on Josh.

“He arrived at Yale New Haven hospital around 345 am. Off of sedation by 430. Temperature under control all day! 24/7 EEG hooked up between 2-3 this afternoon. Has had no active seizures. His Keppra med level was a little low this morning so they gave him a higher dose this a.m. the wait is on. Some real positive signs though this afternoon/evening towards “waking up”. But still time is what is needed there as all the sedatives work their way out along with continued healing. So thankful for the continued prayers.”

  2. One of the outlaws (as Michelle would say) needs prayer for another round of chemo. This lady (Joann) has gone through the mill with cancer, surgeries, not to mention a terrible car accident. She is in a wheel chair now and on oxygen while still struggling to smoke. She does not attend a church, but says she does believe. Prayers for all she may need.
