  1. First up, the more we know about the “whistleblower” and his lawyer, the worse it gets. Real pillars of society here.

This is like Ricky’s favorite creepy porn lawyer all over again. Ewwww…

Here’s he is bragging about his accomplishments….

“No, amigos. You will not find the Cuckoo’s Nest-like clown show this week at the United Nations described in the mainstream media as succinctly as in this column’s title. Instead we get:

“The U.N. General Assembly voted overwhelmingly Thursday to condemn the American economic embargo of Cuba for the 28th year. The vote in the 193-member world body was 187-3 with the U.S., Israel and Brazil voting “no,” and Colombia and Ukraine abstaining.” (AP, Nov. 7.)

“Oddly” it’s that notorious “colluder” with our president (as we’re given to understand by the Media–Democrat complex) who always squeals the loudest:

“Russia Calls On US To Immediately Lift Cuba Blockade – By tightening the grip of sanctions and reinforcing the trade, economic, financial and energy blockade of Cuba,” squealed Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin to the UN General Assembly. “Washington seeks to prevent Cuban citizens from exercising their right to a dignified life. Essentially, Washington (under Pres. Trump) has embraced the policy of slowly seeking to introduce a genocide, targeting the Cuban people. Former US President Barack Obama relaxed US policy toward Cuba…However, current President Donald Trump toughened the policy once he came to power in 2017.”

How dare Putin’s captive media organ (Sputnik) berate this “Putin-colluder” of a U.S. president? And compliment his “anti-Russian” predecessor? Haven’t they heard? Didn’t they get the memo from their boss? Don’t they watch the U.S. media? Don’t they listen to Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff? “

  4. The Ukraine scandal spreads……

For Biden and Democrats, not Trump.

    https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2019/11/the-ukraine-scandal-spreads.php

“I take it as a given that Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma paid the Biden family a $3 million bribe. That follows from the facts that 1) Hunter Biden doesn’t speak Ukrainian or have any experience in Ukrainian business, 2) Hunter Biden has no experience in the natural gas industry, 3) Burisma nevertheless paid Biden more than $83,000 a month (!) for three years to serve on its board of directors, a role that usually is only nominally compensated, and 4) Joe Biden at the time was responsible for Ukraine policy in the Obama administration. But there may be even more to the scandal than that.

John Solomon has been an indispensable source here, in part because of his own Freedom of Information Act requests. His most recent revelations concern Burisma’s relationship with the U.S. Agency for International Development, an arm of the State Department:

A State Department official who served in the U.S. embassy in Kiev told Congress that the Obama administration tried in 2016 to partner with the Ukrainian gas firm that employed Hunter Biden but the project was blocked over corruption concerns.

George Kent, the former charge d’affair at the Kiev embassy, said in testimony released Thursday that the State Department’s main foreign aid agency, known as USAID, planned to co-sponsor a clean energy project with Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian gas firm that employed Hunter Biden as a board member.

At the time of the proposed project, Burisma was under investigation in Ukraine for alleged corruption. …

Kent testified he personally intervened in mid-2016 to stop USAID’s joint project with Burisma because American officials believed the corruption allegations against the gas firm raised concern.

The time line is important here. Hunter Biden started getting money from Burisma in 2014. In February 2016, Burisma’s top-shelf international lobbying firm used Hunter’s name to fast-track an appointment with a senior State Department official to deny reports of corruption involving Burisma:

A few months later, by mid-2016, the Obama administration had in place a plan for USAID to partner with Burisma, until Kent intervened to block it.

    More:

Kent’s stoppage of the USAID project adds to a growing body of evidence that Burisma and its corruption issues were causing heartburn inside the State Department during the end of Joe Biden’s tenure as Vice President.

Another State official has reportedly testified he tried to warn Biden’s office that the Burisma matter posed a conflict of interest but was turned away by the vice president’s aides.”

“Former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley blasted former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, recalling a private conversation where they defended resisting President Trump, telling her they did so out of necessity.

Haley told “CBS Evening News” anchor Norah O’Donnell that she did not appreciate having the former officials confide in her, as she described in her new book, “With All Due Respect.”

“[I]nstead of saying that to me, they should’ve been saying that to the president, not asking me to join them on their sidebar plan,” Haley said.

Haley said that the two men “confided in me that when they resisted the president, they weren’t being insubordinate, they were trying to save the country” and how “Tillerson went on to tell me the reason he resisted the president’s decisions was because, if he didn’t, people would die….”

    Haley, however, was not impressed.

“It should’ve been, ‘Go tell the president what your differences are, and quit if you don’t like what he’s doing,’” Haley told O’Donnell. “But to undermine a president is really a very dangerous thing. And it goes against the Constitution, and it goes against what the American people want. And it was offensive.”

“Graham Has a Few Stipulations for House Dems, Otherwise Impeachment is ‘Dead on Arrival’ in the Senate”

“Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Sunday told Fox News’s Maria Bartiromo he believed the Ukrainian whistleblower is part of the deep state.

“I consider any impeachment in the House that doesn’t allow us to know who the whistleblower is to be invalid, because without the whistleblower complaint, we wouldn’t be talking about any of this,” Graham explained. “I also see the need for Hunter Biden to be called to adequately defend the president. And if you don’t do those two things, it’s a complete joke.”

Graham cited reporter John Soloman’s reporting, which revealed Burisma, the Ukrainian gas company Hunter Biden worked for, pressed the Obama administration to drop the corruption allegations.

“I think that the big deal is that Hunter Biden served on a board that was being investigated by the Ukrianian government,” he said.

Graham referenced the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests that showed Hunter Biden’s business partner and another Burisma board member meeting with Secretary of State John Kerry.

“All of a sudden the case goes away,” Graham explained. “I think it’s important that we found out what really did happen, regarding firing the foreign prosecutor, what was the conflict of interest Hunter Biden had.”

The Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman made it clear he doesn’t believe an impeachment case can be brought about fairly without knowing the whistleblower’s identity and “having the ability to cross examine him about any biases they may have.”

“So, if they don’t call the whistleblower, this thing is dead on arrival in the Senate,” Graham said.”

“CBS Warns Dems: You Could ‘Lose’ Impeachment With Such ‘Limited’ Evidence”

“The journalists on CBS This Morning, Monday, offered a surprising look at how Watergate differed with the current impeachment push. Major Garrett and analyst Jonathan Turley warned that Democrats could “lose” the impeachment battle with such “limited” evidence.

As he played footage of Walter Cronkite in 1974, Garrett contrasted, “President Trump’s attorneys have had very little access to evidence or the witnesses. It has been conducted, this investigation, largely in secret.” Turley piled on the Democrats: “The greatest difference is that there has been very little evidentiary work that has been done. You know, the Democrats are going from zero to 60 in about 100 feet.”

Something you don’t see too often in network coverage of the impeachment push. Turley marveled that the Democrats were actually going through with this:

It appears they’re going to go forward largely on this phone call and the Ukrainian controversy. If they do that, it will be the narrowest impeachment in history, and they’ll have one of the most limited evidentiary records in history.

It seems as though Turley influenced Garrett who opined:

Speed matters. If you move too quickly and the public cannot catch up with the facts you’re presenting, you lose. At least you lose in terms of public opinion being moved by the evidence you present the public. Also, Democrats have a high standard to meet here. Impeachment is not “I dislike the President.””

Book Review: The Plot Against the President, by Lee Smith

The True Story of How Congressman Devin Nunes Uncovered the Biggest Political Scandal in U.S. History

    https://legalinsurrection.com/2019/11/book-review-the-plot-against-the-president-by-lee-smith/

“When the history of President Donald Trump’s administration is written, perhaps one of the biggest ironies is that the man most responsible for toppling the #Resistance comes from the state that is the center of the anti-Trump movement.

The Plot Against the President: The True Story of How Congressman Devin Nunes Uncovered the Biggest Political Scandal in U.S. History was written by investigative journalist Lee Smith and covers the work of Nunes (CA-22), former head of the House Intelligence Committee, and his team of lawyers and researchers to expose the coup against the President.

In his masterful analysis, Smith takes us on a chronological journey of how “protodossiers” were created, which eventually morphed into the infamous Steele Dossier, complete with Russian prostitutes. Originally, the Russia connection was designed to give the Hillary Clinton campaign an escape hatch, in case her emails were revealed to contain embarrassing information.

However, when Trump began naming his foreign policy team (i.e., General Michael Flynn, Carter Page, and George Papadopoulous), the hoaxes presented in the dossier were used to create a counterespionage campaign that was to remain completely hidden from the American public. The actions, real or not, of Trump’s team would be used as an excuse to spy on his campaign.

The effort to elect Clinton then morphed into the coup against Trump after the shocking result of election night 2016. High ranking Obama-appointed officials decided that American voters had made a mistake, so the administration set into place the mechanism to remove Trump from office before he was inaugurated.

Smith’s work is an outstanding, page-turning read that clarifies the tactics that the deep state plotters use. In a nutshell, information is leaked to the media or people are set-up (like General Flynn), the material is then used for further investigation that is then offered to the media. The press dutifully presents the deep state script, without further investigation or independent analysis.

There are so many intriguing passages in The Plot Against the President, I hardly know what to share. Something that captured my attention was the “insurance policy” referenced between Peter Strzok (former Chief of the Counterespionage Section who led the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a personal email server) and his coworker and mistress Lisa Page (FBI attorney).

According to Nunes, the “insurance policy” that Strzok and Page texted about, the issue they’d discussed in McCabe’s office, was not simply the operation against Trump that they planned to roll into a coup in the event he was elected.

“It has a deeper meaning, it’s more specific that that,” he says. “It’s what else they did to get the FISA, to ensure they got the warrant on Page. It’s as bad or worse than using the dossier. It’s another thing they hid as part of a counterintelligence investigation.”

“What did they do?” Nunes spreads his arms in the air. “Something we hope to have declassified. Something the American public should know about.”

    ——–

“For their efforts, Nunes, Patel and other members of the team have been targeted for deep state harassment. The incidents escalated once the Nunes Memo was released in Feb. 2018.

“They started to target my wife and the rest of my family,” says Nunes.

Activists filed a California Public Records Act request for the emails of his wife, an elementary school teacher. She was targeted on social media, and after her contact information was published, they sent her harassing emails. They were doxxing teachers and administrators at the school and said that Mrs. Nunes was teaching racism and bigotry.”

And for his patriotic efforts Ricky and his ilk seek to destroy the man’s reputation. Very telling that is.

““Impeachment” Hearings: Republicans Plan To Put Biden and Democrats on Trial, and Schiff Is Not Happy

Schiff has made it clear the House is committed to a Democratic show trial sham. Republicans want a process where all facts are laid out for the public to draw their own conclusions.”

“The public hearings phase is set to begin Wednesday, where House Intel Committee Chair Adam Schiff will be calling who he feels are key witnesses to testify:

House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) announced on Twitter Wednesday that his committee will hold its first public impeachment hearings next week.

Driving the news: On Wednesday, Nov. 13, the committee will interview top U.S. diplomat in Ukraine Bill Taylor and State Department official George Kent. On Friday, Nov. 15, the committee will interview former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch.

Why it matters: The move from closed-door interviews to public testimony is a significant step in the impeachment inquiry and an indication of how quickly the House investigation into Trump and Ukraine is moving.

“Committee sources” tell Axios, linked above, the goal of the hearings is to keep things “narrowly focused” in order to help “accelerate the impeachment timeline”:

Between the lines: Committee sources tell Axios’ Alayna Treene their goal is to keep the public hearings narrowly focused so that it’s both easy for the American public to follow and helps accelerate the impeachment timeline. They’re focused on bringing in the career officials who revealed the most about Trump and Ukraine — meaning don’t expect many new names or faces as the inquiry shifts to a more public setting.

Let’s really read between the lines here. The fact that they want to “accelerate” public impeachment proceedings goes against everything House leaders including Schiff, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and Judiciary Chair Jerry Nadler have been saying for months regarding the Ukraine call controversy and the Russia collusion investigation: that there is no rush to judgment and no rush to impeach.

Of course, that was an obvious lie, but the sources telling Axios their goal is to speed up the process just confirms it.

Secondly, Taylor, Kent, and Yovanovitch will go first because they are supposedly the Democrats’ star witnesses who Schiff and Co. believe will provide to the public the most damaging case against President Trump.

The most revealing information from the Axios report, however, is in how the committee seeks to keep the public hearings “narrowly focused.” The stated reason is to make it easier for the public to follow and to speed up the process.

The real reason is because Democrats want to obstruct House Republicans from their strategy of broadening the inquiry via their selection of witnesses in an effort to show the American people there are justifiable reasons why President Trump would want the Joe and Hunter Biden issue and the DNC server issue further investigated by Ukrainian officials.

After all, if the case can be made that Trump’s requests were legitimate and served American interests, then the reasons given for impeaching him will evaporate.”
