  1. Of course she does. Because this is a hoax, not an actual impeachment.

And she knows she doesn’t have the numbers and that she’d hurt vulnerable Dems if she did. No guts. 🙂

“Pelosi holds off on vote to authorize Trump impeachment inquiry

Members of leadership and vulnerable Democrats were opposed to taking the vote.”

“Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democratic leaders will hold off on a full House vote authorizing an impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump, according to multiple lawmakers and aides.

Democratic leadership sources caution, however, that the decision could be “reassessed at some point.”

The move came amid opposition from key chairmen and members of leadership, as well as a number of centrist Democrats facing tough reelection bids.

“Pence, Giuliani defy demands by Congress for documents”

“Declaring the Democratic-led impeachment inquiry illegitimate, Vice President Mike Pence and President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani on Tuesday refused to hand over documents on Ukraine.

The Defense Department and White House’s Office of Management and Budget also declined to comply with the investigation, defying congressional subpoenas, officials said.

The move dramatically escalates the standoff between the Democratic-led House and the White House, which also has told administration officials not to testify and has otherwise stonewalled Congress.

“If they enforce it, then we will see what happens,” Giuliani said of his congressional subpoena.”

  4. The Democrat’s God problem.

“Democratic presidential debates provide an excellent opportunity for the aspiring leaders of the party to address and embrace religious freedom for all Americans. Religious freedom should be considered a positive fundamental American principle by both major political parties.

At least one of the Democratic presidential hopefuls — Beto O’Rourke — has stated that churches who don’t support same-sex marriage should lose their tax exempt status. Will any of the other candidates distance themselves from this unconstitutional weaponization of the IRS?

It was not so long ago at the 2016 Democrat National Convention when the attempt to add the words “God-given” to a resolution was met with a chorus of boos from the delegates.

At their most recent summer meeting, the Democrat National Committee unanimously passed a resolution criticizing America’s First Freedom, religious liberty, claiming it is used to “justify public policy that has threatened the civil rights and liberties of many Americans, including but not limited to the LGBT community, women, and ethnic and religious/nonreligious minorities.”

Unfortunately, the DNC resolution, which also enthusiastically embraced the religiously unaffiliated as emblematic of the party’s values and “the largest religious group within the Democratic Party,” unnecessarily pits non-religious citizens and people of faith against each other in an us against them proposition at a time when our nation desperately needs more unity.

Thus far every Democrat debate has been a missed opportunity to ask the candidates their view on religious liberty. But they need to be asked. Do they agree that religious liberty is no longer a freedom worth protecting, and is, in fact, a threat to civil rights as the DNC resolution states? Do they welcome religiously affiliated Americans, or fear them in the same way it appears the DNC fears religious liberty?

Specifically, the candidates need to be asked about cases where religious liberty is under fire.

For example, do the candidates believe it was appropriate for Dallas, Texas Judge Tammy Kemp to hand former police officer Amber Guyger a Bible after she was sentenced for the murder of her unarmed neighbor? Was that a unifying act of compassion as many saw, or “inappropriate” and “unconstitutional” as one special interest group has claimed?

Do they support the inclusion of a World War II veteran’s Bible in a privately owned and operated POW/MIA Recognition Table display at the Manchester Veterans Affairs Medical Center in New Hampshire? Or do they side with the effort by some to remove the Bible?

Do they agree that people like Oregon small business owners Aaron and Melissa Klein should be penalized by the government and forced to close their small family bakery for trying to operate their business according to their faith?

Do they agree with the decision by a Washington state school board to fire football coach Joe Kennedy simply because he kneeled in prayer at the 50-yard line after games and after the players had already left the field?

    Americans deserve to know.”

    —————–

We already know. And no, they don’t support religious liberty. They’ve been quite clear on that.

    Didn’t think so.

Like a Chuck Todd show, the truth must be suppressed.

“Judge Suppresses Evidence Of Baby Body Part Trafficking In Planned Parenthood Trial

‘We’re not going into the truth of abortion procedures. I’ve excluded that,’ said Judge William Orrick during the trial of Planned Parenthood v. David Daleiden.”

“Over the last two weeks in the ongoing federal civil jury trial of Planned Parenthood against David Daleiden, Judge William Orrick has repeatedly cut off defense questioning that he considers straying too close to eliciting information related to Planned Parenthood’s history of selling tissue from aborted fetuses.

Planned Parenthood is suing undercover journalist David Daleiden and others associated with his organization, Center for Medical Progress (CPM), alleging that Daleiden and his team committed illegal wiretapping, trespassing, breaches of confidentiality, and more. The challenge that Planned Parenthood attorneys have accepted is to make the case that Daleiden and his team illegally recorded private conversations, without admitting what exactly those conversations were about.

But it’s not just the plaintiffs who don’t want the jury to consider the potentially illegal activities happening at Planned Parenthood clinics. Judge Orrick laid out the ground rules to the jury in his opening statements on Day One, saying this case “is not about the truth of whether plaintiffs profited from the sale of fetal tissue or otherwise violated the law in securing tissue for those programs,” and adding that, “those issues are a matter of dispute between the parties in the world outside this courtroom.”

On day two of the trial, when defense attorney Horatio Mihet asked Daleiden’s partner and CMP investigator, Sandra Merritt, about information she learned about the human tissue procurement company StemExpress from a Planned Parenthood whistleblower, Orrick ordered to court to take a break. He sent the jury out of the room and lectured Mihet for disobeying his orders to not discuss abortion procedures.

“I just want to be very clear that I want these witnesses to be able to testify as to what their reasonable state of mind was with respect to the specific defense…but we’re not going into the truth of abortion procedures. I’ve excluded that,” Orrick said.

Another defense attorney, Charles LiMandri, interjected, saying he didn’t understand why the judge was precluding information their clients learned about Planned Parenthood’s abortion practice.

“It would almost preclude the defense entirely, because part of showing what someone’s reasonable belief is that reasonableness of the information they relied on and the source,” LiMandri said.

Later, when Merritt was asked to describe how a Stanford study used a device to keep intact fetal hearts beating and alive for experimentation, Orrick cut her off with an, “All right. Thank you.””

  11. My how things have changed. 🙂

The anti-war left have become Bush neocons.

    https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2019/10/democrats_make_themselves_the_party_of_george_w_bush.html

“President George Bush’s name came up once during the Democratic debate, in context of his recent ballgame appearance with leftist television host Ellen DeGeneres, which drew some criticism based on how dumb it was.

Where Bush’s ghost really came up, though, but not with his name, was in Democrats blasting President Trump for pulling U.S. troops out of the Middle East.

Democrats, with the exception of insignificant Tulsi Gabbard, all adopted the Bush position of endless wars for the sake of other nations. Keeping our word. Loyalty. Cut and run. Democracy in every beating heart of every nation or whatever. It all pretty much came up.

    How things change.

    Here’s Joe Biden:

“It’s been the most shameful thing any president has done in modern history in terms of foreign policy,” former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. said.

    Here’s Pete Buttigieg:

“What we were doing in Syria was keeping our word,” Mr. Buttigieg said. “Part of what makes it possible for the United States to get people to put their lives on the line to back us up is the idea that we will back them up, too.”

“When I was deployed, not just the Afghan national army forces but the janitors put their lives on the line just by working with U.S. forces,” he continued. “I would have a hard time today looking an Afghan civilian or soldier in the eye after what just happened over there.”

    Here’s Bernie Sanders:

“Now you tell me what country in the world will trust the word of the president of the United States?” Mr. Sanders said. “In other words, what he has done is wreck our ability to do foreign policy, to do military policy, because nobody in the world will believe this pathological liar.”

This is Bush-think, and precisely the reason Americans eventually went for Trump in 2016. Back when Bush was getting us into supposedly quickie wars, the ones that would convert people with stone-age values into Jeffersonian democrats, leftists were on the outside at the time. yelling about “Bushwars,” war crimes, and bringing the troops home. Remember Cindy Sheehan? I remember how she spoke at one of those ANSWER-sponsored events in Hollywood, denouncing George Bush and demanding the troops be brought home. The lefties were in their element, holding anti-war demonstrations with coffins and Afghani and Iraqi flags, yelling, “No, no, we won’t go” and chanting “no war for oil.” They held up pictures of bombed out little kids. Remember the smirking chimp?

    How things change. “
