  1. Speaking of criminals……

And this clown is “investigating” Trump?

“Top Democrat’s wife may have gained ‘illegal private benefit’ from his committee activities”

“A charity run by the wife of Rep. Elijah Cummings received millions from special interest groups and corporations that had business before her husband’s committee and could have been used illegally, according to an IRS complaint filed by an ethics watchdog group.

Cummings, 68, a Maryland Democrat, is chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. His wife, Maya Rockeymoore, 48, is the chairman of the Maryland Democratic Party and briefly ran in the state’s gubernatorial race last year. The couple married in 2008. Cummings was once heavily in debt — in part due to hefty child support payments to his first wife and two other women he had children with — but his financial situation has improved considerably over the past decade.

Rockeymoore runs two entities, a nonprofit group called the Center for Global Policy Solutions and a for-profit consulting firm called Global Policy Solutions, LLC, whose operations appear to have overlapped, according to the IRS complaint filed by watchdog group the National Legal and Policy Center on Monday. The complaint states that the arrangement may have been used to derive “illegal private benefit.”

Global Policy Solutions received more than $6.2 million in grants between 2013 and 2016, according to tax records. Several of the nonprofit group’s financial backers — which included Google, J.P Morgan, and Prudential — have business interests before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Cummings has served as Democratic chairman of the committee since January and previously served as ranking member.

The largest contributor to the nonprofit organization was the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, a company that is regulated by Cummings’ committee. The foundation, which gave a total of $5.5 million to Rockeymoore’s consulting firm and $5.2 million to her nonprofit group, ceased supporting her groups in 2017.”

  2. Sanctuary policies are killing Americans. Already imprisoned for attempted murder and other charges, known members of MS-13, and yet these idiots released them on an unsuspecting public without turning them over to ICE as requested. After their release by stupid liberal policies and judges, they killed a girl. This needs to stop.

“ICE scolds Prince George’s County DOC for ignoring deportation hold on murder suspects”

” Two teens charged with the murder of a 14-year-old girl in Prince George’s County were in the country illegally, previously locked up and should not have been walking free according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

ICE says it had a deportation detainer for Salvadoran nationals Josue Rafael Fuentes-Ponce, 16, and Joel Ernesto Escobar, 17 and had notified the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections after the teens were arrested in Prince George’s County last year accused of attempted murder and gang-related charges. ICE says it was never notified when the pair was released.

“These individuals had demonstrated violent criminal behavior before, and because they were released in spite of the lawful detainer, they were afforded an opportunity to take a life,” said ICE Baltimore Field Office Director Diane Witte in a statement.

The teens, along with 14-year-old Cynthia Hernandez-Nucamendi, are now accused of murdering 14-year-old Ariana Funes-Diaz whose body was found in a creek in Riverdale last week. Police say the suspects are part of the gang MS-13.”

  3. Judges like this…..

“You may recall the bizarre story coming out of Massachusettes last month about a judge who was arrested after allowing an illegal alien to escape arrest by ICE agents. Judge Shelley Joseph was charged with obstructing justice, leading to cries of outrage from liberal officials around the state.

Joseph is currently suspended without pay and she’s facing up to 20 years in prison if convicted, but some of her supporters had been hoping that after cooler heads prevailed, US Attorney Andrew Lelling might reconsider and drop the charges. This week he decided to clarify the matter, however. The case is moving forward and he has plenty of reasons to prosecute her.

“My focus is on the conduct of this judge,” Lelling said during a May 6 appearance on WGBH’s “Greater Boston.” “To me, it’s not an immigration case. I know that seems counterintuitive to people. It’s a rule-of-law case. You have, the indictment alleges, a sitting judge who helps a federal fugitive evade capture by letting him out the back door. You can’t do that.” …

“The allegation here is not that this judge stood up and was forthright about what she was doing,” said O’Keefe. “If she had been, I might have a different view of this. It’s the subterfuge. That’s where the problem is . . . the feds frankly, in my judgment, are guilty of overreaching in many instances. I don’t think this is one of them.”

Note the use of the word “subterfuge” by District Attorney Michael O’Keefe, who supports Lelling’s decision. As it turns out, the US Attorney told reporters that he might have considered dropping the charges if this had been some spur of the moment decision and a case of bad timing for the ICE agents seeking to detain the criminal illegal alien, Jose Medina-Perez. In other words, it’s not just a question of what Judge Joseph did, but how she did it.”

  4. Sounds racist to me.

“Schools Chancellor Richard Carranza accused of demoting admins because they were white”

“Whiteness has become “toxic” under schools Chancellor Richard Carranza’s regime, insiders charge.

At least four top Department of Education executives who have been demoted or stripped of duties under Carranza’s sweeping reorganization are poised to sue the city, claiming he has created “an environment which is hostile toward whites,” a source told The Post.

The women — all white, veteran administrators — contend they were pushed aside for less qualified persons of color.

“These decisions are being made because DOE leadership believes that skin color plays a role in how to get equity — that white people can’t convey the message,” said a source familiar with the complaints.

“There’s a toxic whiteness concept going on.”

Davida Perry, managing partner of Schwartz Perry & Heller, a law firm focusing on employment discrimination and sex harassment cases, represents the women. She declined to comment pending the filing of the suit, which is expected within two weeks.

Under Carranza’s leadership, sources said, whites, in some cases, are being told they must give up power or lose responsibilities no matter how well they have performed.

More than a dozen high-ranking superintendents and deputies who had served under ex-Chancellor Carmen Fariña have been demoted — some with large pay cuts — or pushed into retirement, sources said. Others have lesser duties and new bosses.

“Since Carranza took office, he’s brought in a lot of new people. As a result, it’s been bureaucratic chaos and backbiting, with deputies and their subordinates seeking better perches in the pecking order,” said David Bloomfield, a Brooklyn College and CUNY Grad Center education professor.

“Racial tensions appear to be one manifestation of these internal battles.”

Meanwhile, the DOE has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on consultants to coach supervisors on how to “disrupt the power structure and dismantle institutional racism,” a supervisor said.”

  5. A coordinated campaign.

“Accounts tagged ‘hatetrump’ and ‘ihatetrump’ are part of a coordinated campaign to undermine U.S. President Donald Trump that has emerged on social media site Instagram, an independent study has revealed.”

““We have uncovered a small operation that is very likely part of something bigger,” said Andrea Stroppa, the head of research at Ghost Data, which has previously published reports on online counterfeiting and malicious botnets.

“I get the feeling that someone out there is experimenting. Testing the waters. They know what they are doing.”

Some of the accounts appeared to have broken Instagram’s rules, the study said, for example by using pictures stolen from other people or by acting in tandem with other accounts to spew out vitriolic messages.

A spokesperson for Instagram told Reuters: “We are investigating the accounts in question and have already removed those that we’ve found to violate our policies. Accounts used to manipulate or mislead the public are not allowed on Instagram and we will take action if we find additional violations.”

Facebook says it is working hard to root out malpractice on its platforms and has shuttered hundreds of accounts this year that display what it terms “coordinated inauthentic behavior”.

The U.S. giant has come under fire over the last two years for its self-admitted sluggishness in developing tools to combat extremist content and propaganda operations.

Stroppa said his research had identified some 52,000 accounts on Instagram which were generally anti-Trump, using such hashtags as #impeachtrump. Many of these were genuine profiles that mixed personal and political messaging.

Drilling down, some 350 “suspicious accounts” emerged which were almost entirely devoted to deriding the U.S. president. Of these, 19 accounts stood out, appearing to be interlinked and waging incessant “memetic warfare”, using a battery of manipulated images and videos to belittle the Republican leader.

The 350 anti-Trump accounts have put out some 121,00 posts since the first of them was created in October 2016, generating a total 35.2 million so-called interactions, which includes people ‘liking’ the item or making a comment.

The smaller subset of 19 accounts started to emerge last August and have since posted around 3,250 times, generating 440,000 interactions — more than half of them since March.

“Their goal seems to be to infiltrate into (social media) networks that are much bigger,” said Stroppa.”

  6. White people cannot be discriminated against. That is established policy.

As for Aj’s 6:30, it is Trump who is covering up, musn’t forget that.

  7. Once again, the Obama’s let underlings take the heat for their misdeeds.

“Tina Tchen refuses subpoena about her role in Jussie Smollett case, process server says

The former chief of staff to Michelle Obama evaded a subpoena Wednesday from retired Illinois Appellate Judge Sheila O’Brien. O’Brien wants Tchen to hand over records related to her conversations with Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx regarding the ‘Empire’ actor.”

“Chicago attorney Tina Tchen — who was in contact with Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx before the charges were dropped against former “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett — refused to be served with a subpoena on Wednesday, according to the process server.

Tchen, who previously served as former First Lady Michelle Obama’s chief of staff, refused to accept a subpoena that was issued by former Illinois Appellate Judge Sheila O’Brien.

O’Brien is petitioning for the appointment of a special prosecutor to look into the state’s attorney’s office’s handling of the Smollett case. She is calling for Tchen to attend a May 31 hearing at the Leighton Criminal Courthouse and bring with her copies of “any and all documents, notes, phone records, texts, tape recordings made or received at any time, concerning [Tchen’s] conversations with Kim Foxx in re: Jussie Smollett.”

Edward Ryan, who operates a private investigation firm in the southwest suburbs, said one of his process servers went to Tchen’s law firm in River North on Wednesday, but she refused to come to the lobby to accept the subpoena.

Ryan said the security guard in the building’s lobby would not let the process server upstairs. The guard called Tchen in her office and “she said she knew about” the subpoena, but refused to come down.”

  8. Yep.

  9. The pieces are falling into place.

  10. —————–

  11. I know I ain’t Trump. But if I were, I would tell Nancy Pelosi. “Let’s do it.” “You get your team together and have a vote. If they vote to impeach, let’s do it. I’ve been wanting to bring the dossier and Hillary’s e-mails, etc. to the public.
We will talk about all of that.”

If not. SHUT UP and get to work on a Border Bill.

  12. Don’t worry, the end is near Chas.

The house of cards built on lies that Dems and Never-Trumpers built is collapsing as we speak. More will be declassified next week. The IG report is coming as well. And it will be bad for the 2 groups I mentioned, Ds and NTers. Their TDS will hit stage 4 once their lies are exposed. 🙂

And it needs to be exposed in all it’s ugliness, so it’s never allowed to happen again, to either side.

  13. Funny you say that Chas, as I am in the middle of trying to explain to someone on Facebook that The Onion is in fact NOT real news, and is a satire site. He insists they’ve gone legit now, and has an outrageous Trump story to prove it.

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. 🙂

  14. After reading this line, I’ve made up mu mind. I’m laughing so hard I’m crying. 😂🤣😅

I mean really, how do you respond to someone who believes this is a true quote?

“Given the fact that Melania and I have no recollection of ever asking for a cast-iron Dutch oven, I am calling on the Justice Department to launch a full-scale investigation into whether the Clintons blatantly ignored our wedding registry,” said the commander in chief at a campaign rally, holding up the cooking pot while revealing that he had already directed several DOJ agents to go through all the gifts they received to determine if the former first family completely skipped over their requested luggage set, blender, and comforter in favor of getting their own unregistered present.”

  15. Rumour has it Trump’s bone spurs were acting up when he met with Pelosi and he had to leave.

Its interesting to see both right and left sides of the internet argue for the need to uncover some rocks to find some dastardly deeds. The Democrats of course think something is hiding in the redacted portions and Trump’s tax returns hide more secrets. The actual left has no problem kicking any rock since they’re not friends with the DNC. Personally I think the Republicans are chasing a lot of squirrels to distract the faithful. They really don’t want to kick over too many rocks.

  16. The above is HRW.

Meanwhile, the Congress just passed a 16 billion dollar farm aid package. That’s in addition to last year’s 12 billlion. Both were to compensate for retillatatory Chinese tariffs. Winning the trade war…..

Speaking of winning. The US agreed to drop their aluminum and steel tariffs on Canada in exchange Canada will drop their retillatory tariffs. So we’re back to where we were when it started.

  17. That almost 30 billion dollars in farm aid, and the prediction that prices on various household items and electronics are going to increase, does make me wonder – how are these tariffs supposed to be good for Americans? (That is an honest question.)
