Prayer Requests 5-4-19

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 93

The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty;
    the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength;
    indeed, the world is established, firm and secure.
Your throne was established long ago;
    you are from all eternity.

The seas have lifted up, Lord,
    the seas have lifted up their voice;
    the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.
Mightier than the thunder of the great waters,
    mightier than the breakers of the sea—
    the Lord on high is mighty.

Your statutes, Lord, stand firm;
    holiness adorns your house
    for endless days.

  1. My husband, Ralph, will start his radiation treatments (41) on Monday. My granddaughter, Annika, needs to get into see an endocrinologist for her thyroid, which is way off. She was supposed to get in within two weeks. Unfortunately, the person who called to get her in on a cancellation called the wrong number. Now it will be awhile. Please pray she can get in the right time and her physical health will not get even worse. She is our little one with DS.

  2. Nightingale goes back to court tomorrow morning, regarding the custody situation. This time, since she and her lawyer are counter-complaining, X will have a lawyer. (At least, his getting a lawyer was the reason for the continuance. I don’t know if he’s retained one.)

    Please pray for wisdom for the judge and lawyers, for favor for Nightingale, and for what’s best for The Boy. Thank you. (I will probably re-post this tomorrow morning.)

  3. Our pastor (who is part time) had a heart attack last week. He had chest pain and drove himself in the wee hours of the morning to the ER. He had a lot of tests and then 3 stents. He was in church this morning, but did not preach or do anything except tell his story.

    One of the women at our church has been having both chemo and radiation for stage 4 cancer. She recently had a last treatment during which she had to remain flat on her back for 3 days. She was told they would have something for the pain she would have. She has been very concerned about pain. (Her husband died of cancer) She told me today that she had no pain. At first the medical personal refused to believe her when she told them this. She kept insisting and then finally told them her whole church was praying for her. They told her they had never had a patient who had no pain during that procedure. She was praising and thanking God and so were we!
