Prayer Requests 2-12-19

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 12

Help, Lord, for no one is faithful anymore;
    those who are loyal have vanished from the human race.
Everyone lies to their neighbor;
    they flatter with their lips
    but harbor deception in their hearts.

May the Lord silence all flattering lips
    and every boastful tongue—
those who say,
    “By our tongues we will prevail;
    our own lips will defend us—who is lord over us?”

“Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan,
    I will now arise,” says the Lord.
    “I will protect them from those who malign them.”
And the words of the Lord are flawless,
    like silver purified in a crucible,
    like gold refined seven times.

You, Lord, will keep the needy safe
    and will protect us forever from the wicked,
who freely strut about
    when what is vile is honored by the human race.

  1. We are going to be getting several inches of snow this afternoon, with it coming “heavy at times”, as the weatherman said, then switching over to freezing rain later in the evening. Nightingale will be driving to work in the (possibly heavy) snow and driving home in the freezing rain. Please pray for safe travels for her. Thank you.

  2. Amen.

    We have like conditions, with husband driving to Kamiah for the highway commission meeting followed by a trip to Lewiston for a doc appt for seventeen year old daughter. He will probably be taking seventeen year old son along as school is canceled again and he does not need to sit at home playing on the device he is not allowed to have.

    Then it is off to Boise to sign for the house.

  3. Lots of drifting out. We drove to town for a power of attorney for the house signing and the plows had been through but there were already big drifts. Thirty mile per hour winds across snow covered prairie. We were in town maybe fifteen minutes and the roads were well drifted by the time we started back. Now husband and daughter are off to Lewiston for her appt. They will drop down to take the river route but it should still be interesting driving.

  4. Praying for safe travels anonymous…even though I know that would be in Idaho 😊
    Mom went to the doc yesterday and they believe she has had a mild heart attack in the past couple months. She tells me she has a “bundle blockage” in the left portion of the heart. She will go in Thursday for a resting stress test and they will then determine what to do. She is troubled by all of this and we understand…leaving this in His care but reality of the situation is hitting some of harder than others….

  5. Last I heard, the Anonymous family was still trying to decide. Just defending myself here. I’m glad you’ll be there someday. A half dozen people from our church moved there in the last few years, including our favorite fire survivors. I’ve got outlaws there, too.
