  1. More is coming……

    http://dailycaller.com/2018/07/26/fusion-gps-dossier-buzzfeed-lawsuit/

“Judge orders Fusion GPS to disclose details of its dossier work.

The opposition firm has avoided deposition in a dossier-related lawsuit against BuzzFeed.

Lawyer for plaintiff says ruling “gave us everything that we had hoped for.”

“Representatives of Fusion GPS must answer a broad array of questions about the opposition research firm’s role in creating, investigating and disseminating the infamous Steele dossier, a federal judge ruled.

U.S. District Court Judge Ursula Ungaro issued the decision Tuesday in a defamation lawsuit a Russian tech executive filed against BuzzFeed News, which published the dossier on Jan. 10, 2017.

The trial is scheduled to begin in Miami in November.

Ungaro ruled that attorneys for the executive, Aleksej Gubarev, can ask Fusion GPS representatives in a deposition about the firm’s dossier clients, its efforts to verify the dossier, its decision to hire dossier author Christopher Steele and its interactions with government officials and media outlets, including BuzzFeed. ”

  2. Obama, funding Muslim terrorists with your tax dollars.

    https://www.dailywire.com/news/33587/breaking-obama-knowingly-funded-designated-al-ryan-saavedra

“A new report released on Wednesday revealed that the Obama administration knowingly provided an Islamic terrorist-financing organization with hundreds of thousands of dollars despite the fact that the group had been designated as a terrorist-financing organization for a decade by the U.S. government.

Obama officials approved the release of well over $100,000 even after they were informed that the Khartoum-based Islamic Relief Agency (ISRA) was affiliated with Osama bin Laden and Maktab al-Khidamat (MK), which eventually became al-Qaeda.

ISRA, also referred to as the Islamic African Relief Agency (IARA), received a $200,000 taxpayer-funded grant from the Obama administration, which released at least $115,000 to the terrorist-financing organization. National Review reports:

According to the U.S. Treasury, in 1997 ISRA established formal cooperation with MK. By 2000, ISRA had raised $5 million for bin Laden’s group. The Treasury Department notes that ISRA officials even sought to help “relocate [bin Laden] to secure safe harbor for him.” It further reports that ISRA raised funds in 2003 in Western Europe specifically earmarked for Hamas suicide bombings.

The 2004 designation included all of ISRA’s branches, including a U.S. office called the Islamic American Relief Agency (IARA-USA). Eventually it became known that this American branch had illegally transferred over $1.2 million to Iraqi insurgents and other terror groups, including, reportedly, the Afghan terrorist Gulbuddin Hekmatyar.

National Review notes that in July 2014 the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) approved $723,405 of U.S. taxpayer funds to go to World Vision Inc., and that out of that money, “$200,000 was to be directed to a sub-grantee: ISRA.””

  3. The crybaby insurrection is upon us.

    https://legalinsurrection.com/2018/07/theyre-losing-their-minds-trump-derangement-syndrome-descends-into-new-level-of-ridiculousness/

“Rather than waning, Trump Derangement Syndrom gets worse the longer Trump serves in the Oval Office.

Even for a once staunch opposer of Trump like myself, Trump’s governance has been far less threatening than I ever imagined, leaving me and many others pleasantly surprised.

In the age of personal truths and disregard for anything tethered to reality or absoluteness, it makes sense that those whose personal truth requires perpetual outrage even when circumstances don’t require hysterics, would find an abundance of ways to distort reality into something subjectively alarming.

Such is the case of Jared Yates Sexton. Sexton writes for Salon and has contributed to the New York Times, The New Republic, and Politico.

But those credentials haven’t saved Sexton from the “debilitating” Trump years.”

“Get angry. Get mad. And buy his book about the coming crybaby insurrection.”

  7. Don’t you Never-Trumpers ever get tired of losing?

    https://townhall.com/columnists/kurtschlichter/2018/07/26/why-we-never-get-tired-of-winning-and-never-trumpers-never-get-tired-of-losing-n2503154

“So, that whole Carter Page FISA warrant thing really went well for the Russia/Trump/Treason/Emoluments Clause Crew – not. The FISA warrant’s probable cause consisted of the urinary dossier which led to Yahoo News stories and back to the urinary dossier in a perfect circle of hackery. It was less probable cause than probable fraud. Basically, the libs backed themselves into defending the notion that it’s cool to use the intelligence community to spy on rivals because of course they should be able to use the intelligence community to spy on rivals because Trump is literally Hitler. As was Romney, and McCain, and all the Bushes, and as will be every Republican presidential aspirant in the future regardless of what he has binders full of. Sounds legit. No wonder those of us who keep saying, “Buy guns and ammunition because the citizenry needs to have a counter-balance to a corrupt establishment’s monopoly on force in society” are now saying, “See, we toldja so.” But that dumb hill is only the latest dumb hill the Never Trump goofs have chosen to die on.

It’s like Groundhog Day with them – every morning they wake up fussy and failing, then every night they go to bed, alone with all their friends, having pushed the latest TRUMP DID THE WORST THING EVER meme only to wake up fussy and failing in the same Trumpian hell again the next morning. Except instead of being funny, they are sad. And instead of waking up to Sonny & Cher crooning “I Got You Babe,” they wake up to Beck singing “Loser.” And it’s dedicated to them.

Look on the bright side, Never Trumpers. Your inability to sell cruises all ends in January 2025. I mean, unless Don Junior wants to take a pay cut.

Ouch. That seems to have made you sad. Maybe another Zima will wash away the pain.

Here’s the reality. In 2016, Normal Americans rebelled against an establishment composed of liberal fascists in government and a hateful cultural elite, as well as their allegedly conservative kept boys who placed their personal positions and prosperity above the people’s interests. As my upcoming book Militant Normals: How Regular Americans Are Rebelling Against the Elite to Reclaim Our Democracy recounts, in the kind of clear, unrestrained prose that goes hand-in-hand with not having to be FCC-language compliant, how the rise of Donald Trump was the inevitable result of a cultural war where our side was desperate for a fighter who would actually take up our banner and win. Remember how Abe Lincoln had to prune the deadwood in the Union Army before he could find a general to lead the fight against the Democrats the last time they tried to win a civil war? Like Ulysses S. Grant, Donald Trump is imperfect, but he fights and he wins.”

  9. Yesterday’s developments lead me to make the following predictions:

    A. As I predicted earlier, the Dems will take the House. There will be a blue wave that will make the surviving Republicans very nervous about their survival in 2020.

    B. Mueller will issue his report around January 1st, right when the new Congress takes office. It will be tougher on Trump than I previously predicted.

    C. The Democrat House will move quickly to impeach, with articles on:
    1. Conspiracy with Russia
    2. Obstruction of justice
    3. Abuse of power
    4. Siding with a foreign power
    5. Election law crimes
    6. Miscellaneous other charges

Some of the articles of Impeachment will be stronger than others, but none will rely on time travel.

    D. Then the Senate trial will begin. It will be something else. There will still be between 46 and 52 Republicans in the Senate. Expect Trump to pull out all stops, threatening, bribing, inciting the Cult to various outrageous acts.

    E. In the end Trump’s fate will be in the hands of 15-20 Republican Senators who will consider voting to convict. The political considerations are as follows: If they convict, the Cult will hate them and maybe vote to remove them, but the Rs can try to start over with a sane Pence before the 2020 election. If they acquit, Trumpkins will love them, but Trump will likely take them down to defeat in 2020. For the good of the country, just enough Republicans will vote to convict.

In a year, we can see how I did.

  15. Ricky,

A couple things on your Sessions link..

Did he think there’d be no consequences for fighting the will of R voters and not backing the President? Traitors usually pay a price.

“But the Texas congressman pointedly declined to say whether he’d campaign as an ally of the president, who narrowly lost Sessions’ North Dallas district in 2016.”
    —————

Did he think this type of R was making a comeback? Did he think this is where the party is currently at?

“And he appeared to concede that some in the business-friendly area — which is home to a number of prominent country club-style Republicans, including former President George W. Bush — have soured on the bombastic commander in chief.”
    —————-

Did he or his country club type supporters disillusioned with Trump really think it would turn out any other way when they allowed themselves to be persuaded to ally with Dems, as some clearly have?

“But Allred hinted at another strategy: Winning over traditional Republicans who felt disillusioned with the president.

“I think if you are a George W. Bush Republican, you don’t see yourself in this version of the Republican Party led by Donald Trump,””
    ——————

If he loses, and I doubt he will, it’ll be of his own making. You guys wanna blame Trump, but Sessions built this all by himself.

“North Korea returns U.S. troops slain in Korean War”

“Today, the Chairman is fulfilling part of the commitment he made to the President to return our fallen American service members.”

North Korea has transferred the remains of U.S. soldiers killed during the Korean War, in keeping with the agreement made in Singapore signed by Chairman Kim Jong-un at the historic summit with U.S. President Donald Trump.

The remains were carried out of Wonsan, North Korea, on a U.S. Air Force C-17 aircraft headed for Osan Air Base, south of Seoul, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement. The plane arrived at the base at around 11 a.m. (Korean time).

A formal repatriation ceremony will be held Aug. 1 at the base.

“At their historic meeting in Singapore, President Donald J. Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un took a bold first step to achieve the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, transform relations between the United States and North Korea, and establish enduring peace,” Sanders said.

“Today, the Chairman is fulfilling part of the commitment he made to the President to return our fallen American service members. We are encouraged by North Korea’s actions and the momentum for positive change.”

Friday marks the 65th anniversary of the signing of the armistice agreement that ended the three-year Korean War, and that may play a part in the timing. A forensic anthropologist was one of two Americans who has been in North Korea to assist in the preparation of the remains that will be returned.”

“Second-quarter GDP jumps 4.1% for best pace in nearly four years”

“Gross domestic product grew at a solid 4.1 percent pace in the second quarter, its best pace since 2014, boosting hopes that the economy is ready to break out of its decade-long slumber.

The number matched expectations from economists surveyed by Reuters and was boosted by a surge in consumer spending and business investment. Stock market futures edged lower on the news while government bond yields moved lower.

That’s the fastest rate of the growth since the 4.9 percent in the third quarter of 2014 and the third-best growth rate since the Great Recession. In addition to the strong second quarter, the Commerce Department revised its first-quarter reading up from 2 percent to 2.2 percent.

“We’re on track to hit the highest annual growth rate in over 13 years,” President Donald Trump said in remarks an hour after the report hit. “And I will say this right now and I will say it strongly, as the deals come in one by one, we’re going to go a lot higher than these numbers, and these are great numbers.””

  18. Tiresome, to say the least…

A response to Ricky’s 7:42AM and what he left out. This has been denied already, and under oath, unlike the desperate Cohen.

    https://legalinsurrection.com/2018/07/cat-fight-cohen-v-trump/#more-255979

“Are you getting tired of this yet? I know I am.

The media obsession with non-stories is tiresome, but because the he-said, she-said is what’s passing for serious news these days (regardless of veracity) we can’t ignore it. So, here we are.

Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen recently claimed that President Trump was aware of Don Jr.’s Trump Tower meeting.

Left-leaning media is obsessed with the Trump Tower meeting. They’re completely, wholly convinced it was during this meeting that Russia collision occurred.

Don Jr. and Jared Kushner met (this was during campaign season) with the hopes of getting dirt on Hillary. When it became apparent there was no dirt, or no smoking gun as they’d been led to believe, they left. The entire encounter lasted 20 minutes.

    Cohen’s Claims*
*According to CNN sources. And we all know how accurate those have been lately.

Trump and Don Jr. have both denied Trump knew of the meeting prior to its occurrence. Cohen is now claiming otherwise.”
    ———————-

“Do we have a pool running on how long it will take CNN reporter Jim Acosta to make himself part of this story? Because we should have a pool.

    Don Jr.’s Testimony
In May, Don. Jr. testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee, answering a gazillion questions about the Trump Tower meeting.

    CNN concluded:

The nearly 2,000 pages of interviews do not appear to contain information that would change the course of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Trump’s team and Russia.

Under oath, Don Jr. was asked: “Did you inform your father about the meeting or the underlying offer prior to the meeting?”

And replied: “No, I did not.”

Really, what more is there to discuss?”
