“Representatives of Fusion GPS must answer a broad array of questions about the opposition research firm’s role in creating, investigating and disseminating the infamous Steele dossier, a federal judge ruled.
U.S. District Court Judge Ursula Ungaro issued the decision Tuesday in a defamation lawsuit a Russian tech executive filed against BuzzFeed News, which published the dossier on Jan. 10, 2017.
The trial is scheduled to begin in Miami in November.
Ungaro ruled that attorneys for the executive, Aleksej Gubarev, can ask Fusion GPS representatives in a deposition about the firm’s dossier clients, its efforts to verify the dossier, its decision to hire dossier author Christopher Steele and its interactions with government officials and media outlets, including BuzzFeed. ”

Eventually it became known that this American branch had illegally transferred over $1.2 million to Iraqi insurgents and other terror groups, including, reportedly, the Afghan terrorist Gulbuddin Hekmatyar.
National Review notes that in July 2014 the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) approved $723,405 of U.S. taxpayer funds to go to World Vision Inc., and that out of that money, “$200,000 was to be directed to a sub-grantee: ISRA.””

5. Election law crimes
6. Miscellaneous other charges
Some of the articles of Impeachment will be stronger than others, but none will rely on time travel.
D. Then the Senate trial will begin. It will be something else. There will still be between 46 and 52 Republicans in the Senate. Expect Trump to pull out all stops, threatening, bribing, inciting the Cult to various outrageous acts.
E. In the end Trump’s fate will be in the hands of 15-20 Republican Senators who will consider voting to convict. The political considerations are as follows: If they convict, the Cult will hate them and maybe vote to remove them, but the Rs can try to start over with a sane Pence before the 2020 election. “Second-quarter GDP jumps 4.1% for best pace in nearly four years”
“Gross domestic product grew at a solid 4.1 percent pace in the second quarter, its best pace since 2014, boosting hopes that the economy is ready to break out of its decade-long slumber.
The number matched expectations from economists surveyed by Reuters and was boosted by a surge in consumer spending and business investment. Stock market futures edged lower on the news while government bond yields moved lower.
That’s the fastest rate of the growth since the 4.9 percent in the third quarter of 2014 and the third-best growth rate since the Great Recession. In addition to the strong second quarter, the Commerce Department revised its first-quarter reading up from 2 percent to 2.2 percent.
“We’re on track to hit the highest annual growth rate in over 13 years,” President Donald Trump said in remarks an hour after the report hit. “And I will say this right now and I will say it strongly, as the deals come in one by one, we’re going to go a lot higher than these numbers, and these are great numbers.””

The media obsession with non-stories is tiresome, but because the he-said, she-said is what’s passing for serious news these days (regardless of veracity) we can’t ignore it. So, here we are.
Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen recently claimed that President Trump was aware of Don Jr.’s Trump Tower meeting.
Left-leaning media is obsessed with the Trump Tower meeting. They’re completely, wholly convinced it was during this meeting that Russia collision occurred.
Don Jr. and Jared Kushner met (this was during campaign season) with the hopes of getting dirt on Hillary. When it became apparent there was no dirt, or no smoking gun as they’d been led to believe, they left. The entire encounter lasted 20 minutes.

In May, Don. Jr. testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee, answering a gazillion questions about the Trump Tower meeting.
CNN concluded:
The nearly 2,000 pages of interviews do not appear to contain information that would change the course of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Trump’s team and Russia.
Under oath, Don Jr. was asked: “Did you inform your father about the meeting or the underlying offer prior to the meeting?”
And replied: “No, I did not.”
Really, what more is there to discuss?”
