Wait, The pickled pigskins is about college football? I thought….never mind…
So what is this Idaho school? Is it the one in Pocatello where seventh son is going to college and wanting to play football with lots of assurances he can, while dad is hoping he does not because ISU plays the big teams? I’m in.

Welcome, Kare. Feel free to join us any time you want.
Mumsee- this is the University of Idaho, not Idaho State or Boise State. Not sure if it’s in Pocatello.
My selections:
Bama – in honor of kbells, and I think they should just join the NFL for some competition.
Minnesota
Idaho
Fordham (Go Navy!)
Navy
VMI
SoCarolina
Temple – I just can’t bring myself to pick Notre Dame over anyone.
LSU – These Tigers don’t lose at home very often.
Michigan 45-44, in overtime. Maybe even 2 or 3 OT periods.

I was wondering if Tychicus would post.
Well, all the choices are made. A dozen people with little difference of opinion. Many games have one or two people choosing against the tide, including AJ who chose against the Crimson Tide.
Stay tuned!

Missed it by that much! Didn’t realize the Thursday deadline…thought I’d sneak in and play. Miss talking to all of you! Been super busy with school, work and a new grand Baby! Props to AJ for realizing FSU has a shot.

No, Mumsee, you did not win. But you did better than I did.
Here are our results from the first Pigskin Picks, which we can dub the Kbells Memorial Week, since it looks like a couple of the ladies joined us because of our dearly departed sister. At any rate, here goes:
Tychicus and Kevin each got all 10 games correct, but Ty wins because of the tie breaker. He was only 10 points off the final score of 33-17, while Kevin missed by 23. Kevin also claims not to know what he’s doing. Yeah, right.
With 9 games: Aj, 6Arrows, Chas, and Debra (beginner’s luck or a real college football expert? Only time will tell.) BTW- AJ was closest on the tie breaker with 8, and Debra was next with 9.
8 games correct: Mumsee, Janice, Ricky W and Kim.
7 correct: Yours truly.
6: kare.
So even the Canadian who claims not to know anything got better than 50%. Good job, everyone. Kbells would have been proud of us. I’ll include the Auburn game against Clemson next week, since she was an Auburn fan.
So, Tychicus, what will be our tie breaker game next week?

Two Tigers going at each other!
Much as I hate Tigers, I’ll have to pick Clemson.

I see. Well, congratulations you two. Well done. The competition was fierce.

Truly beginner’s luck. I doubt that it will happen again.
Congratulations, Tychicus!

Great job, Kevin, and I’m glad your team won!
I trust that Peter will have OU at Ohio St. on the docket for next weekend, but for the tiebreaker I’ll take UTSA at Baylor.

Actually, I hadn’t planned on the OU – OSU game, but I’ll put it in.
