Hi friends. Spoke with a family friend who’s a doctor at same hospital where MIL is. He knew her surgeon and spoke to him on my behalf yesterday. Surgeon said, in his opinion, it’s some kind of cancer–but not necessarily metastatic melanoma …..We should have biopsy results Monday.
Earlier this week I asked you to pray for my friend L. She had emergency surgery on Tuesday. Last night she posted on FB that she had been in renal failure. She is still in the hospital. Please continue to pray for her.
When I spoke to Karen late this afternoon, she had been out of A Fib since last night. I hope it takes and stays that way this time. I am not staying tonight because of church in the a.m. I suggested that her daughter might want to stay with her.
My friend Jenn’s situation keeps getting worse. Did I tell you they recently discovered that one of her surgeons had removed her urethra during one of her surgeries?
Now she’s been told that she is on her last antibiotic for the non-stop infection around her bladder tube, that she has to take it daily, & if her body becomes resistant to it, they don’t know what to do after that.
She so desperately wants to stay around for her family, especially now that she has her twin grandsons. (She’s only in her early 40s.)
Prayers for her appreciated, & for her family – a husband, grown daughter (mother of the twins) & grown son – especially for their salvation.
Thank You for all the work You keep doing when You give Your children a day of rest. You are so generous in so many ways. Praise You for new salvations at the Nest and all over the world.
I lift up the needs mentioned here on this thread. May each person mentioned with needs feel You are active in bringing solutions together. May they feel Your joy even in the middle of their suffering. May they experience Your peace when anxiety seems the only reasonunable response.
I pray for those who have pain to feel relief. May those who feel brokenhearted put total trust in Your ability to heal their hurts. May the young offspring of all here on the blog realize Your love for them and the wonderful gift of salvation. May they experience a special personal reason to believe in Jesus. Please remove any obstacles and hindrances to their belief. Please, Lord, help them to quickly be saved.
I pray for my friend, Karen, to have relief from her heart failure. May her medicine work as the doctors hope without causing any harmful or permanently damaging effects. I pray the doctors are gaining experience with this medication through Karen so many others can be helped. Please keep Karen positive as she looks forward to a good future.
I pray for safety at all the polls on Tues. Please keep integrity in all voting machines and the processing and counting of votes. I pray any who try to vote in any invalid way will be found out and prosecuted. I pray no threat or actual violence will cause polling precincts to have to shut down. Please halt any plans for terrorism. Please prevent those who are intent to stir up trouble based on election results to not be able to progress with their hateful plans against innocent people. You are our help in trouble times. I anticipate trouble and am asking ahead of time for You to squash unrest and riots. Thank You that we know You care for us and have good plans for us no matter what happens in regard to the election.

Fifteen year old son just decided to turn his life over to God. We are fixing birthday cake and having ice cream.
