Prayer Requests 10-29-16

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 30

¹I will extol thee, O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

Lord, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.

I cried to thee, O Lord; and unto the Lord I made supplication.

What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

10 Hear, O Lord, and have mercy upon me: Lord, be thou my helper.

11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

  1. Her BAL upon admission at 2:00am was .11… She’d fallen at 7:30 pm–so using accepted data charts, my brothers who are very active in recovery movement, said that means she had a BAL of.21 when she fell…..

  2. Oh Ann…. How has she been coming off all of the alcohol? Did they keep her sedated until the worst passed? How do you think she will be at home? Do you think she will fall back into old habits?
One of my worst memories was of my mother grabbing for my arm and me shrugging her off. It put her off balance and she fell. From their she went into some sort of seizure. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

  3. Hubby, who has been working six days a week, & not getting enough sleep (as usual), is exhausted, & is still in bed as we are approaching 10:00 this morning. Usually, he is up around 6 or 6:30 on Sundays or other days off (he does go to bed early the night before).

I’m guessing he may also be not feeling well, for him to stay in bed this long & miss church.

On a lighter note, Little Guy came downstairs earlier this morning, as usual on a Sunday morning, then quickly went back upstairs to report to Nightingale, “This is so weird. Papa is still sleeping & Mimi is up & doing stuff!” 🙂
